Ye tbh, if you got LCA, you really don't need most other modes unless your looking to enhance something which isn't Taijutsu, in which case you may as well just remove LCA.

Its not like you could take a canon character, then add on another skill or ability etc.
Specifically eg you do not get the AP bonuses from canon characters and stuff I would think

There is a list in the Vessel Bio section of what canon advancements can be added. I do not know if thats a hard list, and only those specific skills can be added.
Eg Dual MS Obito/Kakashi is on there but not EMS Madara or EMS Sasuke

They would fall under EMS with +3 added to the original skill, so it would 4 for EMS Sasuke + 3 = 7 Points to carry his EMS

While working on this breakdown, I thought to include an additional pathway in the vessel system, called the Skill Path, where you are able to combine two canon skills + CC/AN/KG/HA, however, no Mode can be added.

So technically I could have Snake Sage mode on a vessel bio with Sasuke's EMS if I were to buy a Kabuto bio and use it as a canon skill. But otherwise there isnt any legal combination where I can have Sasuke's EMS + Snake Sage Mode? Because Ill trade all of that other stuff for that, if I can.

Since Vessel bios don't take away from the regular bio rules, which are the above.

MS bios can already have a mode. I can't see anything regarding Sharingan rules that currently exclude modes, although I know at one time I think it may have.

So since Vessel bios largely follow the same thing with a few exceptions you should still be capable of having

EMS (sasuke version) (Canon Skill) + Mode + one other thing from my understanding.

Its just the double skill path that means you can't take a mode

Thats what Im wanting to clarify. Originally I had Snake SM but I took it off and replaced with Lightning Mode and Pink meteor stuff because I thought it was illegal.

Hasn't been illegal since the last revamp I believe when LoK edited the bio rules thread and gave us more combinations

If any part of KG/HA/AE+KG/HA/AE+AN/Mode is canon ability swappable then you should be able to have EMS + Peacock + Snake SM. This is my new understanding after the aneurism I had earlier today.

There really should be a line that says this in the dual abilities area in the vessel system thread. Just for retards like me. lol

Mode in the context of the RP technically specifically refers to

• Atavistic Flame
• Curse Mark
• Dokkodo
• Eight Inner Gates
• Gift of the Hermit Group
• Red Kāma
• Sage Mode
• Seven Heavenly Breaths

Anything else is JUST a state. But the modes are also states too though.

You can absolutely use yin or yang state on any bio you have it on as long as you are a specialist in that field. Those aren't modes, those are fields WITH a mode. Slight difference. TCM doesn't count towards having a mode on your bio. Those are inherent abilities of your eyes.

No.

Modes and States are similar, but they are not the same.

In this case. Modes are things that are a state, but not all states are modes.

A lot of modes include an additional list of skills.

For example

Dokkodo | Atavistic Flame | EIG | Sage Mode

States are techniques which increase more than one stat

Yang State for example
Bushido Mode
Unfettered minds
