Itachi vs Jiraiya?? Jiraiya fans plz answer

Ok for starters, tsukiyomi is a genjutsu and ANY genjutsu is overcome completely by disturbing a body's chakra through another person( the 2 toads) . Ametarasu is a jutsu that has proven that it can be overcome by speed and deception( jman has both qualities).Susanoo can be sealed or overcome by depleting itachi's chakra, something jiraiya would know how to do. While he(itachi) was undoubtedly good, this 'genius' dude did'nt have the foresight to see the black flame thrower he gave his bro was going to be ineffective against a man who he knew for years, was his sensei and yet he could'nt find out his weakness......'genious' maybe but not 'genius'.

You'd have to touch him to disrupt his chakra! It's risky =S And it has been overcome only when Sasuke was using it. He's a terrible fighter in everyway... he was angry so he was just blasting it! Itachi is much more intelligent... he would find a way to use it well ... he's faster than jiraiya ... in sage mode they are on par. This one point I agree with you on ... Itachi's chakra can be depleted quite easily... he has one weakness and that is his endurance! =S

actually look closely, it was very useful because it may have escaped your notice and all other itachi-is-god fans, but i was trying to show that against the right kind of opponent even itachi falls short. I believe jiraiya is one of 3 fighters shown(minato, madara) capable of taking out itachi. Jiraiya may appear to be clumsy many times but his strength is without question while itachi is over-rated.

Id like to add that everyone is entitled to support whoever they want and seeing how unlikely it is that anyone will change their view it is best to express one's opinions but in the end these 2 are not going to fight and people should stop making statements as if they were facts whereas all it really is is speculation(either way).

I hate comeing into good threads mad late in the conversation but whatever. Itachi and Madara are the kind of people who seem to be, "What the hell how can you be this strong even in a fictional setting?". Now I'm a fan of both characters, but I think Jiraiya has the upper hand. In the databooks they recieved the same level overall, but really it'd be a tough battle. For Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu to work Itachi needs to see Jiraiya which might be a problem considering Mangekyo Sharingan screws up your eyesight the longer you use it and Jiraiya can move pretty damn fast. Susanoo...Frankly Itachi dosn't have all the much chakra to sustain it too long but would do some pretty big dammage. Now Itachi has stratagy and other tricks besides his Mangekyo sharingan however he'd need to use MS to fight Jiraiya. It just seems with all the flaws MS has Itachi wouldn't win(EMS would tip the scale in his favor though). Jiraiya would be F@$#!@ up though but not dead.

Also When blood comes dripping down your eyes when you use a technique. I'm pretty sure that's a bad thing

Modaro ... Jiraiya cannot just walk into Tsukoyomi... He would have to fight the whole time staring at Itachi's feet. It's not impossible... but it sure as heck ain't an advantage. A large disadvantage!!!

Also, natural energy being superior to regular energy, won't change anything about about tsukoyomi... it's not harder to control jiraiya in sage mode then in regular mode. Once your caught your history!

Thirdly, where exactly does it say Sasuke's Amaterasu is stronger than Itachi's ? O.O

The dude's a genious, there ain't no way Jiraiya is gonna beat Itachi. He can maybe put up with him for a while using Sage mode and his two little buddies, trust me ... it won't last long! =(

Do u really think Jaryia will have to fight looking at itachi's feet?
Here sasuke hit danzou with Tuskiyomi but he seemed unfased, when Itachi used the same attack on kakashi it was more powerful but kakashi lived. How would that kill Jariya plus after using Tuskiyomi itachi experiences a massive loss in chakra.

Sasuke is more skilled than Itachi when it comes to Amatarsu:

Sasuke is also able to use BLAZE RELEASE manipulating the black flames into anything can itachi do that no!

Your talking about Itachi not being able to be beaten by an A rank tech well then how will he combat those same A rank tech in sage mode which will make them S rank+ techs. Danzou has even shown that susano is vonerable to wind. Its useless Itachi has skill and all but he is not able to beat Jariya.

One more thing I meant to say. What good is Sharingan and it's techniques if you're blind? There's no way an Uchiha sharingan user can use any of their eye techniques if they're blind, which is the irony of the MS.

even kakashi said that he doesn't fall for the same jutsu twice. how much more a legeng like jiraiya. itachi is one of my favorite characters and i know he is formidable. but jman is just pure awesomeness. lol..

Well as far as Itachi vs J-Man im not really a fan of either but saying ameratsu is unavoidable seems like a bit of a strech because we know that Hermit mode give J-Man amazing speed personaly i would compare it to Raikages speed

Now i know it doesnt explicitly say in the manga that Jiraiya can use Body Flicker but i would assume that being so experienced and knowing so much as far as jutsus go that he could use the tech. So personaly i dont know who would win in Jiraiya vs Itachi but its safe to assume that he could dodge ameratsu.

Edit: nvm was looking it up and Jiriaya can use body flicker so combine that with hermit mode and he would have a pretty good chance of dodging ameratsu
