Itachi vs Jiraiya?? Jiraiya fans plz answer

Kakashi didnt know Itachis full power, he knew itachis power when he was an anbu captian. He was made a captain at 13 thats why kakashi said dont take him lightly.
Why in anyway would Jiraiya know anything about Itachis power? This is assuming that i said not to do. The Mangakyou for the most part was kept a secret even to some of the Uchiha clan. unless jiraiya went under the floorboards to the uchiha secret meeting place he wouildnt know anything about it, untill kakashi told him after kakashi got his mangakyou
Just because Jiraiya said that doesnt mean its true...Jiraiya has never faught either Itachi or Kisame he didnt know their powers, he has a bigger rep than those 2 thats why he thought he was more powerful

And Jiraiya cannot beat Orochimaru without Sage Mode, With Sagemode tahts a totally different story but since Orochimaru is almost Immortal Jiraiya has no known jutsu that could beat him

start here. and read on the next couple o' pages. how would he know that one of them was itachi, he knew they were all S-classed, he knew they were after jutsu namely Bijuu and how do you ask?

they haddent met in 7 YEARS since orochimaru left. jiraiya said only recently they paired off in teams of two... maby while following orochimaru he ran into itachi at there meeting? or found itachi in some way. because before orochimaru left the organization they didnt meet that often. they traveled alone. wht are the odds that J man could find 9 s classed shinobi ALL in Akatsuki out of the BILLIONS OF PEOPLE IN THE WORLD.... i think J man knew something... something he didnt even feel he could tell kakashi. i hope that itachi was an inside man working with J man that would be badass and i hope even if that isnt kishi's intentions that he will retcon it somehow in an upcomming manga because that would be badass... theres more ideas that suppprt this theory but im still trying to wrap my head around it all

you guys do know naruto isnt like DBZ its not about being over 9000 or having a high power level lol. its not rock paper scisors. just because someone is more powerfull doesnt mean they cant be defeated... being a good shinobi is mostly about being intellegent and createive. Woahh!!! Don't even bring up the fact that Deidara is > Gaara O.O!!! Deidara was clearly getting destroyed by the all mighty Gaara until he resorted to attacking the village. Gaara was then forced to protect the village while fighting of the incoming clay bombs! Not overruling the fact that if A > B, B > C then A > C ... That's totally right! Kinda xD but Gaara owns Deidara... Also Manga states Itachi's superiority to Jiraiya so there's no point arguing =S

Jamn is supposed to be able to fight itachi while never looking into his eyes (and itachi can cast very powerful genjutsu with fingers and limbs too anyway)
Avoid and seal blasts from amaterasu
Deal with itachis speed, which is definitely on par with jiraiyas

AND avoid totsuka sword with its few hundred foot reach, and have to somehow find a way to de-activate or get through a legendary item that deflects all attacks.


And apparently all this can be done with "sage mode" haha

even more hilarious is jiraiya hasnt even completed sage mode, unlike naruto.

Jiraiya got owned by pain, i mean OWNED, and lets face it

Naruto has a better sage mode
He's got more chakra
He's got fuuton rasenshuriken, a long range jutsu, and more powerful than anything jiraiya has/had
pain was weakened, bleeding, and couldnt use god realm, naruto had 6 frogs helping him.
Naruto knew everything about pain from slugs, and even released 8/9 tails, AND STILL, nagato lived, and could have got away.

And apparently itachi cant beat jiraiya??

Jiraiya and itachi are of the same level in terms of jutsu skill and power, il agree, but itachi is far more of a super genius, plus his jutsus are all mostly unavoidable and are extremely effective.

Itachis tsukyomi was owning very skilled ninjas even of akatsuki level within seconds.
