Itachi vs Jiraiya?? Jiraiya fans plz answer

jiraiya will win....its simple. genjutsu wont work due to thge 2 elder toads disturbing jmans chakra....not sage mode. ametrasu is ineffective coz jiraiya would escape to his barrier when its being used and as for susanoo....jiraiya would seal it away with an 8 trigrams sealing jutsu.

there's no absolute certainty in who is going to win in a fight between jman and itachi. all what are being said so far are all based on speculations. with that let me add mine. first off jiraiya is no fool to be owned by the same jutsu twice. we all know that he has experienced amaterasu before and even went ahead to seal it in a scroll. do you think that he would lose in a second fight with pain? i don't think so. even pain stated that he won only because he kept his secret and jiraiya didn't know. amaterasu burns very slowly as can be seen during the hokage summit when one of the samurais was caught in it. there was time enough for kankuro to appear and take away the guys cloths with his puppets. we also know that the you have to be in focus of the eye in other to be caught in it. so a very fast person may be able to avoid it. just as sasuke was able to do with his meager speed. for susanoo, we know that physical attacks can penetrate as seen with raikage's blow. the real problem will be the yata's mirror and the sword of totsuka. also tsukoyomi would prove hard to counter. but since genjutsu controls chakra flow and can be stopped with disruption of ones chakra, can it really affect one in sage mode. will it be able to overcome the natural energy that is drawn into ones body? this will be tough to decide but i think that with experience, jman is going to win.

its not abt who he beat.....he was around waay before the series started, but consider this he was the 4th hokage's sensei.....THE legendary yellow flash. He probably beat tons of ppl this series has'nt even shown

jiraiya will win first against ametarasu he will his fire sealing jutsu or nature energy to evade and when up against tsukuyomi jiraiya knows itachi is good in genjutsu so he will be expecting it and avoid it but when caught the toad elders will free him and when it comes to susanoo remember sosanoo can be defeated with extreme force as in the case of sasuke so cho odama rasengan is great against it yomi nomuma and when itachi is not using mangekyou sharingan jutsu jiraiya will beat him head on . jiraiya has more experience than itachi and remeber jiraiya nearly defeated pain which of course itachi cannot

So.. You guys don't remember when itachi and kisame where tracking down naruto and ran into the j man? Really. From what I recall those two ninjas ran away. Kisame wanted to stay but itachi knew better. Think about it two ninjas who capture tailed beast for a living ran away. Look I'm a big itachi mark but j man was called legendary for a reason. But his death and itachi's prove no one is truly "the" best or strongest.

strength is not determined by the number of jutsu one has or the strength of the jutsu but the caliber of the person using the jutsu. a feather may seem like a sword in the hands of a master.

Itachi then said that everyone has a weakness and he put a genjutsu on a girl to lure Jiraiya away from naruto. If Itachi could really have defeated Jiraiya single handed then itachi and kisame could have tag teamed jiraiya and killed him easy. Instead when Jiraiya did confront them they fled. It sounds to me like Jiraiya would have won, all manga evidence points to Jiraiya's victory. So that means Jiraiya wins.

lol i get what yall getting at and i want to tell u my opinon...just because it is said don't mean it is true...i.e. oro take'n sasuke's body, da 3rd seal'n oro in da death god, sasuke have'n to kill naruto to get ms, and jman being legendary lol(what has he don to say otherwise)...so imo u cant do by what u hear u need some kinda proof...imo

Ok now listen up and pay close attention: madara was NEVER afraid of itachi in any way, he was only afraid of the INFORMATION itachi may give to sasuke, potentially making the latter rebel against him. Itachi was nagato's subordinate in akatsuki and yes madara was the leader behind the scenes but that does'nt say anything about itachi being strong.
