Obito had Minato, Kushina, and Rin. It's also pretty easy to assume Hiruzen was there for him too since Hiruzen has a huge reputation for helping the villagers. We grow stronger relationships because of who we are and if we are willing to connect. Naruto recieved much more attention and help because his willpower was strong and he worked hard at establishing those connections.
dude it´s not the same having people around than having people there in the right moment, if you recall iruka was there when that fodder told naruto he was the kurama jin, iruka wasnt taking a nap or doing something else, he was there in the right moment and at the right place where he needed to be, when obito was about to tnj naruto, hinata wasnt laying on ground and crying for neji, she was there at the right moment and the right time, when naruto was dying from kuram extraction sakura wasnt eating or doing somethng else she was there in the right moment and right time.

While for obito, when obito wanted to save rin, minato wasnt there, hiruzen was the one who sent mere children to a bloody war, next when obito head out to save rin, kakashi the one who promised to protect rin killed her, where was minato? in some other mission, where was hiruzen? doing other stuff, where was kakashi? with his hand right where rin´s heart should be, even if kakashi was there, kakashi was niether at right moment or the right time, for kakashi to be at the right moment he should have saved rin before she was made into a jin. when obito was crying who was there? kakashi, but kakashi was uncouncios, so kakashi wasnt niether at the right moment nor the right time, why do you think juubito told minato he was always late when it really matter?

Its all true but in long run he killed 100k and saved rest of mankind.

Pretty redeemed in my book.

Even naruto is naruto cuz Obito existed 1st :hint:

Would you say that if he raped and killed your family?

But usually to stay in that mindet you have to stay exposed to the environment and culture. Obito had plenty of time to learn something new and mature himself, but he didn't. Wouldn't you call that a weak mindset?

When did he have time to do that? It was about a month or two between Madara's death and his attack on Konoha, you think Konoha would welcome him back with open arms? After the attack he presumably lived alone in the cave where he truly became Tobi.

There is no redemption anyway. Obito never did anything bad.

If I've been indoctrinated, likely. You act as if shit like that doesn't happen in the real world, not to mention, if he was fully Madara's slave he could've easily gotten it over and done with.

Madara didn't brainwash Obito like with child solider. Don't make me laugh.

Yeah, he totally wasn't shoving his beliefs down his throat during Obito's months of recovery. He totally didn't set up Rin to die awfully so Obito could get a front seat look at her death. He totally didn't go ahead and tell him the details and how great his plan was when a obito showed up at his doorstep...

There wasn't a flaw, being as both kids were his pawns for long after his death.
but bz planned madaras revival by kabuto. obito and nagato betrayed madaras plan.

he said he only saw darkness walking as madara. kishis fault for not showing it.

He helped saved the world so I guess some of his acts are reedemable but 80k shinobi under his belt. Thats something he should be redemming for the rest of his life but still he's just a byproduct of the shinobi world.

No, he wasn't. He only mentioned it once and after Rin died he accepted it. Child solider are repeatively fed bullshit since the day they are born.

Yes, because he has a lot of cool techniques.

So the powerful you are, the more likely you should be redeemed.

He's relevant to the series

Not at all. Not if you really understand it. I feel bad for Obito.

Yeah, so do I, but he was responsible for Minato and Kushina's deaths, he did have the Ten Tails kill thousands of people, he did aid and the capture and execution of the jinchuriki, and he is chiefly responsible for Project Tsuki No Me going along almost perfectly, to say he's done no wrong is idealistic to a fault.

He still did wrong, even if what he believed he was doing was righteous. The fact that he had a change of heart means he acknowledged the fact that he himself committed acts of evil. He even said that.

Yeah, but what he has done was wrong. You can sympathize but don't justify the suffering he caused.

It wasn't wrong to him. His perspective is the only thing that matters when considering the implications of what he did from the other side.

You are putting yourselves in the way. You are meaningless here.

I highly doubt he never mentioned it again. Obito was recovering for months, not to mention, upon his return Madara trained him, you really think he never went through the finer details of the plan?

Nagato never even knew anything of madara and Obito was minding his own business and would never revive him.

I dont see how they were his pawns. Even thou Obito had curse mark on him dead madara could not control him from underworld.

Shit is as flawed as could get.

Would you say that if he raped and killed your family?

Thats irrelevant since Obito didnt literally rape anyone. Get you stupid ass scenarios elsewhere.

I'd imagine Obito only reached his conclusion that Madara was worthless over time, and Obito was manipulating Nagato, regardless of whether or not Nagato knew Madara.
