Whats the dif?.
Emo/goths look the same to me
I prefer men in face paint and have clear psychological issues. It keeps things entertaining.

Seriously i saw your photo on the show yourself thread, and you're gorgeous, just sayan, so i don't know why you can't get guys.
Let go of that sausage boii. real quick!
OMFG. I know that not ALL men are the same. It's just the most of men I know are like that -.-'''''''''
I'm a girl, not verry pretty but not ugly either, and I'm verry anoyed by the fact that every guy that was or wants to be with me looks only at my body wich is funny since I have Sakura's body looks,if u know what I mean, and I don't dress as all the other girls at my sourownding (kindda slutty if you ask me) - in fact I'm a goth.... I have to admit that I am pretty shy as well so that might be a reason, but it dosn't make any sence at all to me...! I know I not the only one with this kind of problem, but Its really hard to deal with! Do you have any advices for me?![]()
If personality was a visible trait the world would be so much simpler. But it's not so the first thing you are forced to decide when meeting someone is if you would mate with them or not based on their looks. Lets all be real here we know in the first ten seconds of meeting someone if they're gonna get friend zoned or not. If personality was all that mattered you would just end up sleeping with all of your friends.
Both sexes are primarily attracted to physical. What that physical is depends on the personal preference.
Some girls here said they are attracted to smart guys. I bet that, if we could take a look at one of those smart guys, he'll be a version of Brad Pitt with glasses U_U
I'd imagine you're in your teens. Not meant as derogatory or anything - just an assumption which puts my advice into the context of me speaking to someone still on the other side of the 'divide.'
I know this advice will be frustrating... but don't worry about relationships. Guys at your age are really only capable of getting you pregnant and not much more. It'd be rare to find one capable of offering much in the way of emotional support (and even then, that's best left as friends).
A lot of things will eventually change after you get to college and/or the working world. The highschool drama will go away, somewhat. The cliques break down - "jocks" are no longer unapproachable, the 'preps' no longer as exclusive, and people as a whole become much easier to interact with.
Guys start to change, as well, and begin to look beyond the trending supermodel ideals.
That said, do not, for any reason, believe that it is okay for a guy to "just be attracted to your personality." Physical attraction is important, and if a guy isn't attracted to you, physically (or you can't be to him) - then don't get involved in a relationship.
Just give it some time. Relationships in the teenage years are mostly about "Oo! Shiny! Hey! Look who is dating me everyone! I'm socially relevant and will now be allowed, begrudgingly, to sit at a different table during lunch!"
Once you start working part-time - it's highly likely that some guy(s) you work with will find you cute and start making passes at you. It will be up to you whether or not you wish to entertain their requests.
Meh you cant really do this topic justice in this space but if youre really interested, do read into evolutionary psychology on this issue. Anyways briefly, sexual attraction is generally not something we can control, it is rooted in visceral psychological drives chiseled by tens of thousands of years of evolution in the primitive environments of our ancestors (its purpose to maximize reproduce success).
Males are more "superficial" than females because males have generally been the resource collectors (i.e. hunters and whatnot) and the dominant ***, for the male in pre-history, a partners personality was not as important as her fertility (a "curvy" body indicates fertility). Females, on the other hand, had to consider a partners ability for resource collection (yes this is why females are attracted to financially wealthy men but not so much vice versa) and because of the burden of children, they had to be much more selective in mate selection (i.e. they had to take into account their partners capacity for empathy, faithfulness etc etc).
