[Discussion] Why are men sooo superficial?

I'm a girl,not verry pretty but not ugly either,and I'm verry anoyed by the fact that every guy that was or wants to be with me looks only at my body wich is funny since I have Sakura's body looks,if u know what I mean,and I don't dress as all the other girls at my sourownding (kindda slutty if you ask me) - in fact I'm a goth.... I have to admit that I am pretty shy as well so that might be a reason,but it dosn't make any sence at all to me...! I know I not the only one with this kind of problem,but Its really hard to deal with! Do you have any advices for me?

That's a pretty sexist way of thinking but i see your point, men are programmed to be able to be fully attracted to someone based solely on what they look like, however these usually result in short lived flings, relationships are different. Out of all the relationships iv'e had in my 20years on this earth i can honestly say hand on heart that personality was always the biggest pro for me, as long as your a fun, level headed person your bound to find someone who shares the same ideals as you, it's all about being positive

So, who's superficial?
The ones who have as a best friend a piece of compressed carbon, that only has economic value and a non-living thing? Or the ones who have as a best friend a living-being with feelings, loyal to its owner capable of loving him inconditionally?

you are who you are and don't change yourself because of few men that are scum...not all of them are like that

Both men and women find themselves attracted to something that seems different from the norm....if everyone's "normal" looking then everyone's average and it gets boring after a while. That's why people who stand out get attention.

Just live the moment.....some people want to be noticed and never will. At least you have the luxury of appearance.
