Fantastic answer and question. I mean't that the people who support the sides of religion are opposite sides of the spectrum. One prefers the hard rational thought, the other ideal faith.
Science: Well I'm guessing you don't want the actual definition because you could easily look it up. My definition of science is coming across an observation and trying to prove it. Now theres also theoretical science that is proved w/ theorems but that's different.
Religion: it's faith, and it applies to everyone differently.
But that is when you put specific belief systems vs Evidence or the truth. You cannot simply put Religion vs Science. There are over 200 religions.
Well that is the definition that creates these kinds of debates between religion vs Science.
Science is basically the explanation of how things work. However, if one was to say God created the universe, and can also believe in the Big Bang .... Why? cause Big Bang is HOW it was created. If God is created it.. it still has a process. Just like everything we do.
Religion is yes faith, and yes applies to everyone differently, and that is why I'm saying it illogical to put a vague topic like "Religion" vs something that is the process of explaining how something works.
But someone who is well-rounded in science and an Bible or religious knowledge is overall a pretty smart person because understanding the Bible is a challenge by itself. Not only that they know how to put up a good argument.
Agreed. In fact you can just take science and say "thats how God makes things work".
