To compare Sasuke to Obito, first you have to have him grow up for most of his life being shown no love at all, and then finally meeting one person that cared about him. Then, he makes about three more friends, going so far as to sacrifice himself to save the friend (let's say it's Naruto) and the girl (let's say it's Sakura). Sasuke' saying wish is for Naruto to protect the first person to show him love and compassion, the person he loves most and holds dearest to him. About a month later, let's say he discovers he's survived, only to find an evil old man telling him everything is pointless. He ignores the old man's bs because he knows he'll protect Naruto and Sakura. Once he's finally healed up, what's the very first thing he sees? Naruto himself killing Sakura. Now he finally realizes the old man's words about how pointless and futile everything was, because his sacrifice ultimately meant nothing. Then factor in about one to two years to train with this Palpatine of Naruto, and he's had enough time to be completely indoctrinated, as well as enough time to stop caring about his mentor, his mentor's wife, and the so-called friend that failed him, along with all this, he's been fed delusions that he's the savior of the world.
i dont know if you recall kakashi and obito´s talk in kamuiland, obito talked about that system and his way of fixing it was infinite tsukuyomi, and i´m sure sasuke would take whatever means he deems necessary for his plan
Sorry, but that just sounds like a twelve year old finally thought he had a good life made a noble sacrifice and instead of his friend and crush being safe. His crush sacrifices herself to save the village by forcing your friend to kill her. You get extremely depressed lose all hope and allow yourself to be mind f**ked by an old dude.
I mean they r shinobi and kunoichi. They never know when they will die. That is why I find it illogical to give up on mankind when your crush with an extremely high risk occupation dies.
Madara naruto's version of the emperor? Don't ever compare Lord Sidious to that fodder
Why? They're both evil old men that manipulated a former hero using the same bait (a girl), hell, Madara mentioned some shit about the dark side anyway. Not saying Sidious is weak, he could wreck Madara, but they're not that different.

Madara went evil because he got butthurt about losing to hashirma and went on his rant about how the world is full of losers he thinks what he doing his good. Sidious how ever is straight up evil, he is the Dark lord that killed his master, and manipulated someone to do such evil acts even tho they knew it was wrong hell anakin was crying while killing senators. He is responsible for the death of billions in cold blood
I completely agree, I just don't know why NB is so stupid. Simplifying Obito completely. I just don't think any of the Obito haters are mature, tbh. They even think what Sasuke is doing now is good.
I wasn't going by back stories, I was going by actions.
I even made a thread to show how Sasuke can change the system without bloodshed so long as he works with Naruto. They were disagreeing with me on that too, simply because "Sasuke doesn't want to and what he does is always right". I think you were on it.That's the part that kills me, philosophically, you could say IT wasn't all bad, Sasuke's plan? A totalitarian dictatorship or total anarchy? Yeah, some plan.
@bold Spell check XDExcept he was a 13 year old child, he shouldn't have been in a war to begin with. He didn't even know he had sacrificed himself, all he knew was that Kakashi killed her (and he still forgave that enough to say he wants him to be a part of his world as well). Also, where was he supposed to go, what would he do? Madara was his only option, unlike Sasuke, who had people like Kakashi trying their hardest to help him, yet still choosing to turn out of greed.
Also, I hate how people keep pointing out the whole "but Rin and Obito we're shine I, they could die at any time" first off, war seriously messes up adults Obito and Rin were children. Hell, Obito probably realized the world was shit when he realized he lived in a world where children were expected to fight and die in wars.

1. Madara wasn't Obito's only option. he could have confronted minato. Took his frustration out on him, or blamed him and kakashi for everything. That would have been better than just giving up on reality. Also, you expect a child who revenge was the only reason for living for five years and have his enemy prove to him that his current efforts are fruitless to just give up when his teacher said so.
This "dictatorship" you have stated ia completely subjective.
If the people are happy and well fed, peaceful then it cannot be classified as such.
Technically you could say monarchies are a dictatorship? Obviously not, only if a ruler is cruel and does not address the need of the people, then it becomes a dictatorship.
It will take lots of bloodshed in order to become leader, and obviously people are gonna oppose. Oh, and remember those that Sasuke doesn't like will die. He chooses to kill the Kages, based on their title and not on actions, he's willing to kill Gaara. Oh, and remember he is taking the stereotypical dictator approach. And weren't the Germans happy with Hitler? He was still a dictator to the eyes of the majority. A good dictator would at least have hope for humanity. Those who tried to help him were brushed away by him. This "dictatorship" you have stated ia completely subjective.

Dude if you havent notice the whole point of the plot is to show how the shinobi system doesnt work and how everybody tries to fix it his or her own way.
It´s the same in real life when soldiers get sent to the front lines there´s fear, there´s resentment and all kind of ****ed up emotions, i cannot count how many times i have seen in news that war veterans go crazy and kill a lot of people or they end up insane, now this is a fictional story, facts tend to be exagerated a bit within storys like this, it´s like in a sitcom they exagerate the silliness of the characters, but here they exagerate the drama.
After all my point is that neither Obito nor Sasuke have it easy, and they thought in their crazy ways they were making things better for everyone. And after all they´re uchihas, uchihas are the drama queens of narutoverse.
