Yes because 1 person can equate to the weight of an entire clan. I agree.
if you have a crappy house and you lose your house, and another guy has a hugh and fancy mansion and loses his mansion, at the end of the day they both are homeless, it doesnt matter if the house was hugh or tiny or comfy or not, but the matter of fact is that both guys will not have a roof over their heads , you just make the analogy

obito thought he was a saviour as madara told him and described himself. severing the fate of this world of eternal hate and war isnt a bad reason. he wanted to be hokage but realized that the title was meaningless. his promise became twisted.
he saw his dreams crushed the same day rin died bc she was just a tool of nonstop war.

Right I agree the amount of death does not matter its about the emotion... however:

Sasuke Wants to change the world due to what happened in this past

Obito wants to destroy the world due to what happened in his past

when you look at the actions in the past that push there judgement.... As a grown man Obito is lulz

I don't blame obito tho.. I blame kishi.. Obito should have blamed the system for RIN death and decided to go evil. Not him being hurt cause he couldnt be with his true love

Except in Obito's mind he's giving everyone paradise, hell, he convinced himself he could actually revive everyone he killed anyway. Sasuke on the other hand? He either plans to become a dictator or leave the world in chaos, either way, people will be miserable, at least in IT people could be happy.

Also Obito killed innocent people on a whim and cared for no one.

Sasuke only killed those that stood in his way

Like I said before.. When you look at ALL that Obito did then look at why he did it. Its truly sad.

Sorry, I don't really have the willpower to read right now. My main thing though between the two is that Sasuke lost his entire family and was betrayed by the person he loved most while Obito put all his reason for living into one person, and when they died he fell prey to darkness. I am not saying that Obito's story isn't sad to some, but I just don't relate to it. Losing Rin and feeling that this world is bunk would not have been enough to make me kill my beloved teacher and his wife. If I really thought this world was so bad like Obito did then I would probably just kill myself. No reason for me to deprive anyone else of their enjoyment in this world.
he probably tried to commit suicide, but you may recall madara placed a puppet seal that restrained his movements if he tried to hurt himself, and obito knew about the seal so i think he already tried that

If you want to equate Obito to Sasuke then first Obito would have to have a somewhat caring family and then have Rin come in and slaughter all of them and when Obito asks her y she would pretty much say because she felt like it. Then she would tell Obito that there is nothing that he could do because he is a weak little priss and before she would leave she would place him in a genjutsu where in Obito had the enjoyment of watching her brutally murder his family over and over for 24 hours.

If you can honestly equate the emotional stress of this experience to Rin simply dying and Obito knowing all along that she did it to save Konoha as a Kunoichi then I don't know what else to tell you

I still wouldn't make others suffer because of my own and discontentment

He didn't kill innocent people on a whim, however, and did only kill those that stood in his way, and, if you say those that stood in his way were innocent, so were the samurai Sasuke killed, and so was Naruto, when he said he'd kill him on a whim. Also, just a couple weeks ago (manga time) Sasuke planned to kill scores of innocent people for a crime they neither committed nor even knew of. Obito at least thinks of himself as some Messiah to the world, and, just like in revelation, some people die to achieve (his) salvation, and, like I said, he'd already convinced himself he could revive the people he killed.

Obito's back-story is not sad and nothing in comparison to what Sasuke went through.

you cant expect it to be a perfect analogy, but if you add kakashi and rin=itachi, itachi slaughter uchihas, rin slaughter rin, after all they did it for the same reason, anyway sasuke found out about the reasons itachi did it and he ended up like obito hating the shinobi system

To compare Sasuke to Obito, first you have to have him grow up for most of his life being shown no love at all, and then finally meeting one person that cared about him. Then, he makes about three more friends, going so far as to sacrifice himself to save the friend (let's say it's Naruto) and the girl (let's say it's Sakura). Sasuke' saying wish is for Naruto to protect the first person to show him love and compassion, the person he loves most and holds dearest to him. About a month later, let's say he discovers he's survived, only to find an evil old man telling him everything is pointless. He ignores the old man's bs because he knows he'll protect Naruto and Sakura. Once he's finally healed up, what's the very first thing he sees? Naruto himself killing Sakura. Now he finally realizes the old man's words about how pointless and futile everything was, because his sacrifice ultimately meant nothing. Then factor in about one to two years to train with this Palpatine of Naruto, and he's had enough time to be completely indoctrinated, as well as enough time to stop caring about his mentor, his mentor's wife, and the so-called friend that failed him, along with all this, he's been fed delusions that he's the savior of the world.

I can guess that actually reading this will hurt sasuke fans, so as you can see, none of them read it. The difference between the loss of obito and sasuke is that madara was there to brood over obito and nurture his hate. Sasuke however had many people who still loved him and wanted to aid him, yet he gave in to the greed of power promised by orochimaru.

yeah i understand that but my point is that both events in both characters led them to hate the shinobi system, sasuke wants to make the world better in his own twisted way and is willing to take the lives of people who oppose(e.g. kages and bijuus), obito in his own crazy way he believed he was helping people and also got rid of treats to his plan, also if you recall sasuke killed danzo cuz he held danzo responsible for the uchiha massacre, obito did the same, he went after the mist and minato, yes minato was responsible in obito´s mind for alway being late

Actually, no Obito abandoned reality while Sasuke went to learn about the system and saw that it was fundamentally flawed in a way that would always perpetuate darkness. Sasuke reasoned that the only way to fix the system is to remove the system and restructure it.

Yeah, I know, they never even take the time to read what I wrote, they just go straight to criticizing me (usually based solely on the thread name). Honestly, my point of view is, I have less sympathy for a person that has the option to choose good out right in their hands that turns evil, rather than a person that's been groomed to be bad.

Until you realize that all of this crap started because Indra (pretty much him still) chose violence to solve his problems, rather than sitting down to think of a peaceful solution. Sasuke didn't abandon reality, but if he honestly thinks killing the kages will solve anything, he knows very little about the world.

i dont know if you recall kakashi and obito´s talk in kamuiland, obito talked about that system and his way of fixing it was infinite tsukuyomi, and i´m sure sasuke would take whatever means he deems nessesary for his plan

Obito lost some random girl that was not even related to him.

Hard to show sympathy from me.
