Why do people consider FTG speed?

Let me define speed for you:
1. Physics The rate or a measure of the rate of motion, especially:
a. Distance traveled divided by the time of travel.
b. The limit of this quotient as the time of travel becomes vanishingly small; the first derivative of distance with respect to time.
c. The magnitude of a velocity.
......
To sum all that into one sentence, speed is how fast you get from point A to point B.....it doesn't matter how you get from one point to the other and who doesn't use things to help their speed....gai and lee use gates, raikage uses lightning shield, and uchihas use sharingan for better reflex.....so Minato IS the fastest

I could drive a car to my destination.....but does that make me faster than an Olympic runner? no

Lightning release and gates, etc is like say the speed boost version of steroids....yeah it's still cheating but it's a part of them

FTG is like a car, all those speed boosts are like steroids

Comparing FTG to car.....meh but they aren't living by our rules and regulations.....they consider FTG as part of his speed so whatever.....and if we were to make this FAIR so Minato can't use FTG, raikage can't use lightning shield, naruto can't use his BM, etc. than Minato would be the fastest still.....

I can agree that at base speed, Minato wins

but at full capacity, A and Naruto are faster.....because I don't consider FTG to be "speed" going back to the analogy of using a car vs speed steroids

But its the same concept, minato uses a jutsu to move fast, just like raikage & bee

Take away BM, FTG and V2 and minato would be faster than both of them

Look, people need to looking at this as foot speed. Its all about how fast you get to your destination.
Speed is how fast you take to get to your destination.
D = s/t is just a formula used to describe that. Its all about how fast you transported your body from one point to the next. Mina to wins hands down in that respect all the time.
This is battle, not the Olympics. There's no judge telling you what is off llimits. If I meet you on the street and we got in a fight and I decided to shoot you, does that mean I'm a better fighter than you? Who cares, you're dead now. Dead people don't complain. It's the same here. So I decide to move from where I'm standing to where you're standing by teleporting, you're dead now. I officially got to you before you got to me, therefore I was faster at getting to the intended destination.
Alls fair in love and war. This isn't the Olympics. This isn't a 100m dash. This is getting to your opponent first to make sure he's dead first. Who gets to their opponent first? The faster person.

Most peoples' definition of speed is just getting from point A to point B in the quickest amount of time possible instead of physical movement from one place to another. This is somewhat validated in that Minato is able to travel to point A to point B in no time at all, but it is generally incorrect in that the method of transportation that Minato uses doesn't validate with the actual formula used to determine speed, which is distance/time simply because he can reduce the time variable to 0, making the formula undefined and, therefore, the technique FTG, not quantifiable with speed.

In other words, FTG = fastest mode of transportation, so Minato is technically the fastest in the world in terms of transporting himself from point A to point B

but

FTG =/= speed, so Minato is not the fastest person when it comes to physical speed according to its definition.

I was almost about to make a thread about this xD. It burns me up when fanboys hype minato of having speed and say 'even ay admitted it' HE DOESN'T KNOW THE SECRET BEHIND THE TECHNIQUE! Obviously that is why he thinks minato is faster.

Speed = Distance/ Time

Minato travels in 0 time, also he attaches 2 different locations in space(isn't it how teleportation works?); so he make two different A and B points the same location...So he makes 0 travelling in 0 time in a view; but in our dimention he moves but still in 0 time and it f**ks up the math; ihs "spped" is coing out to be something like infinite.

All formulas have their limits. D/t lit is time = 0. We haven't solved everything yet, that formula can always be improved or shown to be incomplete on the future. The fact is, speed is how fast you get yourself from a to b. You did that in no time? That just means the speed you used is immeasurable.
In any case, you keep answering your own posts. He transports himself the fastest, that's all that counts in a fight. Your dead opponent won't complain that you teleported.
