Why do people consider FTG speed?

I put speed and reflexes as separate categories. Minato is indeed fast, but not faster than Naruto. However, Minato has the best reflexes in the manga

But, reaction time is part of speed. That's why most of the time, it is referred as "reaction speed".

True that FTG isn't really speed. But the FTG usage itself is pretty much unique to Minato; it took Genma and two bodyguards to use FTG just to teleport someone else while Minato actually has the skills to use it in combat and on the go.

Meh I just wanted to clarify, and yeah he does I agree

Well I see what you mean at least, it's not technically "speed" in a sense, but it does the same thing in the end.

yeah but reaction speed is really more of the speed of the mind, rather than body. When people see something coming toward them, some notice it and take action faster than others.....that's reaction speed

He was pretty fast as well. His reflexes were great. Being able to counter the Raikage at top speed...When he was just about 1 second from hitting him. He does this so the attacker would have a stun time, from the punch that was being aimed..when you punch you move forward basically.
He also does so he could counter.

Also isn't that like the Raikages? He also uses his ninjutsu to speed up. So Minato is doing the samething, but with s/t.

yeah but the raikage is still moving/running....minato is just teleporting, there's a difference

Minato does have the best reflexes, but reflexes are the speed of the mind and how it reacts to something....

then how does that relate to what you just said about him being the fastest character even without FTG?

minato could have done the same without ftg if he knew rakaige was coming at him naruto needs to be in bm mode to be fast

The point I'm trying to convey is that Teleportation is not the same as moving with a speed boost. When one teleports, there body is not moving at light speed, it is merely bending space to connect two different points

When Naruto and A are moving, they are literally move at lightning speed

That was why I gave the analogy of the honda beating the bugatti

the honda takes the shortcut in the race and wins, but overall its a slower car....that's essentially what FTG does

Well basically Quantum Teleportation involves using Bell measurement on a particular object and mapping that information onto the entanglement, you then transport the Bell measurement outcome to the other half of the entangled pair. (target object - 1/2 pair of entangled objects).

People call it speed because they're basing it on how quickly a person gets from point A to point B not how they got from point A to point B so in their mind its speed

If only it were as simple as a single paragraph.

I dont see any flaws with this logic
