sasuke didnt revive orochimaru from the totsuka blade seal. he revived him from kabuto's genetic material using the evil release technique so without kabuto gene splicing orochimaru wouldnt be back

Swords still kill people in Naruto, Orochimaru is just efficient at substituting out of the attack; but he didn't substitute out of Itachi's attack because he wasn't paying attention....so if it was a real sword, he would have gotten killed.

orochimaru is far from human thats mentioned countless time and cannot be killed by normal means thats why they always try to seal him orochimaru's true form is the white snake the bodies are just containers
