i don't believe this, unless the guards were involved in the offense, y the fu*k would they just stand if a teenager is getting her ass kicked by a group of ppl, she intentionally stood there to defend herself and fu*k they just watched, what kinda security observes a fight instead of stopping it? ._.

~Moved to the General Discussion as this is quite serious~

I read it this morning in the newspaper. They apparantly stole the girls cellphone and you can clearly see that, on a certain moment, the guy with the red pullover takes something from the ground.

But not only the security guards, but all the people around them really did nothing :|

And am I the only one who is annoyed by that female newsreader? She continuously says "I"...In my country you will never see the newsreaders say something like that as it indicates a personal opinion and the newsreader should be objective. They alwasy talk about it in global, but never as something personal.
Also the way she talks and how she lays emphasis on some words. Even when she stutters a bit in the beginning. This way you're creating a certain atmosphere about the item and you're actually manipulating the public -_- it's like she has been assaulted herself.

Yes Rei, we Europeans are much more civilized. I'm shocked with 4 things here, that would never happen on our Continent, and I wasn't able to whatch the whole vid:

- The supid violence that happened there.
- The fact that the crowd did nothing
- The fact that the guards did nothing

and most importantly

- the fact that media rolled the same clip with this kind of violence multiple times. I mean, I don't agree with censoring, but people need to have a bit of common sense.

In our continent, although I can only speak of my country, criminals are first judged in the streets and then in the court. Even if they hire great lawyers and get out, we all know what happened. If we were to see something like that (especially with 2 girls) the fight would have been stopped as soon as thy triped on the walk.

This video was disgusting

When a regular guy sees two girls fighting like that he can think it is a catfight and watches it with a stupid grimm on his face, or he realizes that the fight is serious and breaks it up... But those guys are security guards, they get paid exactly to prevent these types of situations. Disturbing video...

ROFL totally not true, last night i was waiting at the cinema, and 2 guys started chasing 1 younger guy right next to me, and the guy ran of in a goverment building so the chasers stopped chasing him, and there were 2 guards next to the cinema who did nothing, neither did it, why the **** would i care if something happens to that guy, i dont give a **** neither did the other people who watched it. in my country ( Europe) it happens everyday.

Exp,, 1 guy was stabbed in a public transport vehicle ( something like a train but going trought the city) and it was filled with people maybe 50 of them and they all watched that 3 guys were sttabing that kid which died 30 min after, and after that they placed cameras in the vehicle but it still happens.

So the world is a cruel place

bUt you are right, when girls fight anybody got the balls to stop them unlike GUYS fighting xD

Not one bit surprised at the posts here. Their job states that they are not allowed to engage in any physical activites or they can lose their jobs. While the humane thing to do would be to stop it, they would be put at greater risks getting involved. And with the economy the way it is in America atm its not really worth it.

But hey to all the superheroes here why don't you offer them a job next time this happens so they don't have to worry about not being able to support their families.

Meh, no offense O_O but in which Portugal do you live?
I've seen lots of videos, including one where everything happens inside Vasco da Gama commercial center and dude.. i was completly shocked, a group of.. 8 guys or something chased after one that was running, one of them cough him and all of them start beating him up in the middle of one of the biggest commercial centres in our country, in mid day, lots of ppl were there, no one did nothing. They were just seeing the thing happen. They beat him up until he got unscounscious, and even after that, all of them left execpt one that kept jumping on his head and chest with extreme brutality for like 3 minutes while he was already uncounscious, on the ground, without moving =/. Even after one minute or so, ppl kept watching the kid laying there on the ground without doing nothing. The men of the store which was right in front of the fight was just watching, he was shocked but he didnt do anything.

On my school, the father of a kid got beaten up by another bunch of teenagers =/ lots of parents were in front of the school, waiting for their kids and no one did nothing.

In middle of McDonald's, while everything is having launch, a guy came in and robbed some friends of mine, no one did nothing.

Even I.. >=| a guy beat my gf, i went to his school. He called like 10 friends of him, i called ppl too, we fought, i beat the crap out of him in front of one of the most privilieged colleges in Lisbon and no one did nothing. I know cops can't be everywhere but i've seen this kind of situations so much times.. and this wasnt supposed to happen.

I've assisted at inumerous assaults in middle day, with lots of ppl on the street. Guess what, no one does nothing. I could give you much more examples i've seen or others i've been told about. All of this happened near my school and it isn't located on a place with much social problems or near a social neighborhood. By the contrary =/.

But we have the other extreme too. Cops abusing their power. If they feel like fighting and find someone suspicious on the street, they can find a reason to beat you up, even if you didnt do anything.

With this i'm not saying my country sucks or that it is violent. All countries have this kind of situations, i just mentioned them because i've seen it multiple times. We live in extremes while we were supposed to live in balance. There can't be violence on the streets, but there is no need for cops to beat ppl up.

You must understand the difference between the situations. But in Vasco da Gama situation, or even Macdonalds or your school, cops are called 10 times in a row. And they appear 5 minutes after.

I've assisted to 3 or 4 assaults in my school. The first some gang (mitras) appeared and tried to knock the crap out of a guy. Multiple of his friends (or maybe just classmates) went there and enganged the fight. Everyone who didn't do nothin (including myself) grabbed the phone. The cops were there minutes after.

Everytime I watch these kind of fights, everyone calls the police, but before that there are people who deffend. So I ask you the same thing, you live in a good part (which is the majority) or in social neighbourhoods?

(I'm starting to think you study next to me xd)

The security guards were being polite. It was a girl fight. Did you want them to attack a girl just to stop her ? That wouldn't be too nice.

On a serious note,I don't know about that, but News Channels always try to make everything seem more out of the ordinary. They are retards who lust rating. Perhaps the circumstances of the fight were somewhat accountable, but of course we don't get to know the whole story.

OmG...............!!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Won't you just shut the **** up and type like a normal person ?
