He inherited his Father's Yang Chakra, but he never inherited Six Paths Chakra which enables one to use Rikudou Senjutsu. Six Paths Chakra was already stated to be the Power of both Uchiha and Senju which Hagoromo then specified to be both Asura and Indra.

It wouldn't make sense for Asura to have access to Six Paths Senjutsu if Madara, Obito, and Hagoromo refer to it as a Six Paths Power. That's likely why some members believe that Asura received Six Paths Chakra from Hagoromo because if he didn't, there's no way that he used Rikudou Senjutsu.

His name is Asura Otsutsuki, not Asura Senju. As the sages son, Asura inherited his chakra(Rikudou Chakra), however he presumably mostly inherited the yang portion. On his deathbed, hagoromo chose Asura as his successor and give him his power. :sigar:

My theory is that he was the first Jinchuuruki :sdo: Because this battle did occur after the death of Hagoromo, and that avatar is too similar to Kurama be simply "RSM" chakra.

Kurama was established to have only three host, Mito Uzumaki, Kushina Uzumaki and Naruto Uzumaki. :sigar:
:sdo: Who was this established by, because the manga also states that the story of Hagoromo and his family isn't very common knowledge. So it would be near impossible for whoever stated that "Kurama only had three hosts" to know that Asura was a host of Kurama. Besides, to specifically state that Kurama's three host were "Mito, Kushina and Naruto" make sit sound as if the sayer of this statement is limited in knowledge, as if those were the only jinchuuruki he knew (as far as he knew) :sigar:

The issue arises when Asura doesn't have Six Paths Power, he simply has a component of Hagoromo's Chakra.
Hagaromo's chakra has six path power whether Yin or Yang. Naruto doesnt have the Yin Power of hagaromo. He has yinyang realease, but not Hago's Yin Power. If he did Sasuke wouldnt be needed.

The Yang and Yin powers were seperste from Rinnegan and RSM. Thats why despite losing the seals they kept their other powers.

If he was the first jinchuriki it would have been specifically stated. Kinda to important to leave out. His Avatar does not resemble any of the beasts. It literally looks like an Ashura.

Eh, it was just a guess. Also, what's an Ashura? :coffee: Do you mean the Ashura? :wut:

Yes, he did inherit Hagoromo's Physical Energy. However, that doesn't mean he inherited Rikudou Chakra because Rikudou Chakra consists of both components: Rikudou's Yang + Rikudou's Yin or in other words, Asura and Indra as stated here:

How did Asura inherit Rikudou's Chakra when he needs another component of his Chakra to awaken Rikudou's Chakra? Makes no sense.

And to further support this:

Rikudou has both Powers whereas Asura and Indra individually, only have one Power, hence why they each only have a component of his power, but they don't have Rikudou chakra.

And again, you are wrong. I know you're shitting me with the whole, "Herp derp, his name's not Asura Senju," but if you read the manga, then it's confirmed that the origins of the Senju and Uchiha's Physical and Spiritual Energies (respectively) are Asura and Indra:

But I already addressed that a little bit with my previous scan.

With what Asura displayed, he likely did use Rikudou Senjutsu, but the only way he could've done that is by receiving the Six Paths Power directly.

I just addressed this with Michael in my recent post. Hagoromo has the Powers of Uchiha and Senju whereas Asura and Indra are only stated to have one of these powers with Senju being Yang Dominant and Uchiha being Yin Dominant. Therefore, Hagoromo consists of both Yin and Yang whereas Indra is only Yin Dominant and Asura is only Yang Dominant.

Why didn't Naruto receive the Rinnegan? It's possible because he's either more Yang Dominant or like Hagoromo and Hamura, they only received certain abilities from Kaguya individually (Rikudou Senjutsu and the Rinnegan). Same case could've applied here.

And as you stated, Naruto has Yin-Yang Release. I hope you do realize that only having both components of the Six Paths Power enables you to have this:

Sasuke also had Yin-Yang Release through his ability to combine the Bijuu into the Juubi, so both had Rikudou's Chakra (Both Yin and Yang).

The Yang and Yin powers were seperste from Rinnegan and RSM. Thats why despite losing the seals they kept their other powers.
I never denied that.

I understand all this. What I'm saying is it is possible for Ashura to have RSM and Indra not having Rinnegan since RSM does not recquire Indra's chakra. Indra needs Ashura's chakra to bring out Hagaromo's original chakra and awaken Rinnegan.

Sasuke needed Ashura's chakra(Hashirama) for Rinnegan yet Naruto has never recieved Indras chakras.

Ashura does not need Indras chakra for RSM. Naruto did not recieve the Sages Yin power. He got yin release, but not Yin power. Its not the same thing. Naruto recieved the Yang half of Hagaromo's Chakra.

I hate to disagree with you but I don't think it actually ever was. It never gave any implication in the manga as to whether he was or wasn't a jin

Firstly, as @Indra pointed out, Ashura wasn't in any chakra mode, he probably didn't have any. He could only manifest the Avatar. So the title (the basis of this thread) is not right to begin with. But that's not a major issue though.

Ashura's Avatar could be something similar to what you're saying, probably related to Ashura's Yang chakra, but it is neither a chakra mode extension nor is it RSM. Because Ashura can't have RSM on his own, not possible. You need two separate chakras to activate and deactivate RSM, and one of them has to be Rikodou Senjutsu chakra. And Ashura didn't have two separate chakras, not without Hagoromo giving the Rikodou Senjutsu chakra to him. If that's objectionable, then Ashura doesn't have RSM is the automatic conclusion.

Ashura received Hagoromo's Yang chakra and awakened RSM but Indra received Hagoromo's Yin chakra and couldn't attain Rinnegan? Makes no sense. Logically, it shouldn't be RSM. Practically, it can't be RSM.

And Naruto amassing his chakra, as you're referring to, also isn't possible in light of the above explanation and conclusion that Ashura doesn't have RSM.

BTW, being a jinchuuriki was never the condition to release a chakra mode in the first place. So how did he awaken a "Chakra Mode" isn't intriguing, it is actually, but not because he wasn't a jinchuuriki. The real factor of consideration is how and why was his Avatar exactly the same as Naruto's Kurama Avatar.

And the entire The Last movie is pretty unreliable to make any assumptions or derivations with. So I wouldn't count that in. And nothing made sense in The Last. How TF could Sasuke fly? How TF could BSM Naruto fly? Why TF couldn't Naruto break genjutsu?
Sasuke: Deva Path allows it
Naruto: He still has Rikudo chakra
Genjutsu: lol Naruto has never really broken himself out of genjutsu without help, and maybe Kyubi was put into a genjutsu too

The cloak naruto has isn't strictly from the kyuubi. It's the chakra of an Ashura incarnate with the kyuubi.
Kyuubi's original real cloak looks like this:
You must be registered for see images

You must be registered for see images

And I know MInato's is some weird sh*t thing he got from the Torii seal
You basically debunked your own theory. :lol

If Minato had the same cloak, then it's obvious that it does not come from Ashura's chakra. It either comes with Kyuubi or Torii seal, but certainly not Ashura's chakra. If Minato got the same cloak from the Torii seal, there is absolutely nothing to prove that Naruto got that from Ashura's chakra instead of the exact same Torii seal.

Ashura indeed has RSM and it doesnt recquire two chakras.
It doesn't. But for activation and deactivation, it does. Otherwise, you'll always stay in RSM.

It uses Six Path Power in conjunction with Senjutsu.
False. RSM comes with the Six Paths Senjutsu chakra which is =/= Six Paths chakra + Senjutsu.

We already know that both of these are powers on the body side thats why Naruto has them. Its safe to say Ashura had these as well considering Naruto copied him
Naruto got it because he got Six Paths Senjutsu chakra from the Sage. The only way for Ashura to get them would also be to get it from the Sage. Otherwise, he doesn't have RSM.

just as Sasuke deliberately copied Indras Arrow.
We don't know whether Indra had Indra's Arrow or not. Just because it is named after Indra doesn't make it his jutsu.

And as for the Last we could easily say he merged Six Path Power with his chakra mode(not bijuu) in order to fly and combat another RSM user( Toneri). Theres a novel that even says this and it makes complete sense. Six Paths Kyuubi Chakra Mode. He never used bijuu mode cuz Kurama was outsude of him.
It'll not make sense once you realize how Six Paths Sage Mode is attained. Just draw in the Six Paths Senjutsu chakra and bam, you've Six Paths Sage Mode. Now tell me how could Naruto use RSM powers in BSM when drawing in the Six Paths Senjutsu chakra will automatically activate RSM and not BSM.

And we ALREADY know the conditions for Rinnegan. Ashura+Indra chakras=Rinnegan. Thats how Madara awakened his. Indra would have to steal Ashuras power but he never did. Only Madara got the idea from the stone tablet later in history.
Dude, that was because Hagoromo's power was SPLIT between Indra and Ashura. Indra + Ashura is =/= Rinnegan, but rather Rinnegan = Indra + Ashura. There's a difference in that.

Its manga and databook fact asura has RSM. Infact only Naruto, Asura and Hagoromo are listed as RSM users. :sigar:
If Ashura is really listed in the databook as an RSM user, then Hagoromo gave him RSM power.

Because RSM is attained through Six Paths Senjutsu chakra, which is a stand alone chakra on its own. And Ashura having ONLY this chakra in him means he'll always be in RSM, unless he has a different chakra to switch to when he's not using the Six Paths Senjutsu chakra. And him having a different chakra cannot be possible on his own unless someone gives him that chakra. A person cannot have two different chakras naturally.

I still stand by that ashura was a jinchuriki. Especially because his mode looks exactly like kuramas bijuu mode and we haven't seen anybody else use it besides naruto
His Avatar doesn't look anything like Kurama though.

Asura wasn't a jinchuriki, that was already established. :sigar:

Asura had six paths senjutsu. As hagoromo's son, he inherited his fathers body. :sigar:
So why didn't Indra inherit his father's eyes i.e. Rinnegan?

My theory is that he was the first Jinchuuruki :sdo: Because this battle did occur after the death of Hagoromo, and that avatar is too similar to Kurama be simply "RSM" chakra.
His Avatar doesn't resemble Kurama. And Kurama himself mentioned being in only 3 jinchuurikis, I presume.
