Naruto calls obito AWESOME l Viz scans

Obito died like he should have but the good side of obito was acknowledged
I can't think of naruto doing anything different than what he did

No, it was Obito he saw as awesome. In the very end Obito showed valor worthy of a Hokage. You can say that he fit Naruto's ideal

Here's a better one then the Oj Simpson was a awesome football player his hall of fame induction supports this, but do i think what he did outside of the football field was awesome? hell no.

I'm not saying that we should ever call murderers awesome, but if we do call them awesome for one thing (let's say they saved someone from a fire) that doesn't mean we saying they're awesome for murdering people :| Saying someone is awesome for something isn't simply saying they never did anything else wrong

The major difference between Obito and Kakashi is the latter had the fortitude to deal with it.Kakashi didn't kill his sensei and his wife,nor did he try to kill his future student.

Obito's actions could've been avoided if he wasn't emotionally weak.

I read the chapter 4 times from several different sites,my opinion on the statement is still the same.We just have different perspectives on what Naruto meant when he called Obito awesome.

But Naruto's not saying he's awesome for murdering anybody. Just like I wouldn't say OJ Simpson is awesome for what he was accused of doing. He's saying he's awesome because he wanted to be Hokage. That is in no way related to any of the bad stuff he did. If Naruto called Obito despicable for the bad stuff he did, would he automatically think he's despicable for all the good stuff he did too?

"Oh, you're bad for this thing you did so you can't be cool for any other things you did and vice versa"
