Saying something or someone is awesome is nothing more than acknowledging qualities that they have that you find favorable. Never has Naruto said that he forgave Obito for all the bad things he did. But whatever you say

After a molest like BZ talked shit about Obito in his final moments who sacrificed himself to save Naruto, Kakashi and the world.......it was very much in Naruto's character to say something like that.....thats how he has always been!! U_U

You have to consider what happened before he called him awesome. He made a statement before calling him awesome, and from that you could see that he was just showing how the HOKAGE position ment to both of them.

What's funnier is that Naruto never said all the bad stuff Obito did was ok.

I guess I condone Kanye West for being a d*ck in interviews, harassing cameramen, etc etc just because I think he's awesome for the music he makes.

Stop assuming sh*t about me buddy because I've read that particular scan multiple times, and no matter what sort of excuse you or anyone else can come up with the statement itself is illogical and totally insensitive to Obito's victims.

And Obito isn't a musician :| my main point is that complimenting someone for one thing doesn't mean you can't condemn them for another. Naruto already proved this via Nagato. Naruto obviously doesn't condone killing or else he wouldn't have cared when Neji and other members of the alliance died in the first place. Calling Obito awesome doesn't negate that fact.
