You talking about analyse facts? Itachi will close his eyes before visual Genjutsus? Stop talking nonsense, the Sharingan sees through illusion, end of discussion. No matter whether it's a visual or sound illusion.
Visual genjutsu or sound genjutsu, only thing that's different is how they capture their victim in genjutsu. When Itachi realizes that he's caught in it, he can break through it. Itachi is known to be one of the best genjutsu users after all.
Bro Jiraiya killed 3 pains then fought the other 3, he didn't know they could be revived and got surprised attack. itachi stated himself even if there were more of them, they would all DIE and this includes Jiraiya. Do you really think Jiraiya who has more knowledge on Itachi and Akatsuki than Kakashi (and he was't confident in his powers to win) since he spied on them for years would have such confidence if he didn't know that he could win? This is the same Jiraiya that was causious to fight Pain and had to get info from lower class ninjas and had the frog with Naruto's seal key, took on 3 Pains (Kage level each then all 6 Pains and killed 3 Pains then 1 more before getting his hand blown off and stabbed from the revived Pains who surprised attacked him. Jiraiya had years of spy knowledge on Itachi (who's also from his village) and Kisame seeing he told Kakashi about him to.

Jiraiya > Itachi, because all of Itachis Genjutsus are useless against Jiraiya, he can avoid Amaterasu and is much stronger than Susanoo, avoid Totsukas Sword and destroy Yatas Mirror. Faact, you stupid Itachi Fanboys >.<.

itachi didnt say he would have drawn he said that they both would loose and both there name would get dragged in the mud meaning they would be disgraced for going up against him.

thanks man for the page. i was searching this page to prove peoples itachi could be faught using shadow clones and k.B , and making him tired fighting a long battle. against K.B tuskuyomi and genjutus useless. thanks man

never overestimate itachi's ability. itachi gets caught by genjutsu . he was caught by sasuke's genjutsu too. sorry i dnt have time to locate the manga page but u must admit to this fact. if u say itachi can get out of any genjutsu then u r proving kishi wrong for saying kotoamatsukami strongest genjutsu on world and itachi will come out of it too.
sound genjutus and visual genjutsu are totally different. visual genjutu is linked with eyes and vision and manipulating what the opponents see via his eyes. hence itachi has greater chance to decode and analyse the truth via his sharingan while audible genjutus had nothing to do with eyes. even if opponent is SO6P,pain, or itachi or madara he would surely be caught into it unless he knows the technique to stop it or break it. sharingan has nothing to do with it.
sharingan is like antivirus which can detect and stop virus but it cant detect and stop worms,trojans,spywares. got it dude. noob:flaw:

Sasuke never caught Itachi in a illusion, Itachi always cast an illusion on top of Sasukes. It does not matter which kind of Genjutu it is, it has the same princip. The Sharingan can break through Tsukuyomi. Obviously it can do it by the sound Genjutsu too. It's like to say, the Rinnegan can only absorb Katon- and Raiton-Jutsus but not Suiton.
