Clearly a Minato hater.
The fact that he was able to get a hit on Tobi after only discovering his jutsu seconds in advance is a feat in and of itself. Don't underestimate Minato's capabilities.

So far Tobi showed us powerful genjutsus:
He controlled Yagura (a perfect jinchuriki)
He controlled d kyubi
& he can perform "IZANAGI" a genjutsu that is cast on the user instead of others and is the most powerful amongst this type of genjutsu.
If Tobi can use dis powerful genjutsu's, y would u think he ddn't go 4 dis options during his battle w/ d 4th Hokage..
Minato is no way on par with current Tobi. People are really overestimating Minato because he can get a hit on Tobi. The thing is Tobi himself was not even top 10 to begin with. He couldn't fight any hokages and jinchurikis head on himself that is why he formed akstuiki in the first place.

Yagura was a weak child when he was being manipulated...he was only called the perfect jin-nin, because he was supposily been the first to have complete control over his beast....supposily, but if he had the complete control, why didn't his beast detect his flow of chakra disturbed??
He controlled the kyuubi without a host....controlling the 9 tails and the jin-nin of the 3 tails are 2 very different things....
He only used Izagani once....and I hope you guys aren't reffering to his lil space demension a genjutsu because Oro had a space demension also for his body transfer ritual...:scorps:

yeah I agree on everything except I think Itachi considered Madara to be invincible and immortal, he called Tobi a shell of Madara's former self and he believed he/sasuke can beat Tobi and achieve true immortality.
Come back with that flawed post when Tobi actually does something. Minato took Tobi down in all of 10 seconds without breaking a sweat. To essentially say that Minato is not in the top 10 (as an extension of saying Tobi, who you say is not a that high, is not) is just silly. Kishimoto himself, along with Jiraiya and Tsunade, said he is one of tbe strongest in the series and at one point said he is probably the 2nd strongest deceased. Ninja. Heck, Jiraiya and Tsunade both agreed Minato could've and was close to becoming the strongest ninja in history at the time of his death. I am admittedly a huge Minato fan, but as I am a fan of most characters in the series, I'm pretty level-headed when it comes tothe series.

minato cud have had power moves, just because it has never been mentioned doesnt mean it cannot exist. plus he was strong enuff as a KID to ohko his opponents, and im sure he was a lot stronger when he grew up.
Well, cant really ever say who's the strongest. Some one will always come along who is stronger... DBZ taught me that. But of this LONG list you have screw Oro, Minato would seal him, of the Akatsuki you can toss everyone out up to Nagato... Jury is still out on Konan, but she has to take a heck lot of time to prep, so spontaneous combat does not look good in her case. RaiKage and Minato are pretty much a match for speed, except Raikage does not appear to fight at this level solo.... not sure I ever seen him fight solo for that matter. As for Madara.... well yeah He's Madara and at this point there is pretty much the rest of all the past Kages to which I say who cares, their dead.. Actually I just said that because we're not really going to get a true idea of their power and "awesomeness". AND the same goes with Minato. But if you doubt his abilty to deal with powerful attacks.... He teleported a BEAST BOMB!!!

The Legedary Toad Sage agrees with the creator of the thread. Orochimaru, Jiraiya, Itachi, Nagato and Hiruzen would all be able to defeat Minato. Dispite this he is in League with people like Onoki, Konan, and the Raikage.

I didn't even bother reading after the 2 lines. If you think Minato is greater than a rinnegan user who posses all tailed beast and advanced space time tech then thats your problem.
Like I said old Tobi was not top 10 to begin with. Nothing you said changed anything. Tobi was running things behind the scenes he was not enforcing his power on anyone. Itachi was obviously lieing since part 1. Nagato and Tobi had similar goals he wasn't forcing Nagato to do anything.
this thread seems stupid, minato obviously surpassed jiraiya, (jiraiya admitted it himself) and nagato stated that the only reason he won was because of his secret, and as we all know minato is smarter than jiraiya which means he has a good chance against nagato
