Oh dear it seems you clearly do not understand the concept of plot-no jutsu or the other one for that matter. It is a shounen manga, therefore the male protagonists will always come out as the victor. Plot no jutsu defies logic and odds.

The whole manga is governed by plot and protects the main characters. And because of this there are numerous plotholes. An example, Tobi could've simply warped the jinchuurikis into his dimension rather then needing two-man Akatsuki to manually capture them. This would've saved lots of time and hassle and could've even completed their goals rather quickly. But like I said plot-no jutsu defies logic and what not.

You can obviously see that Tobi is just trying to mess with her head. Btw, Konan isn't quite dead lol. That's actually the beginning of the fight.

Here are the reasons it won't work:
1. Nagato without his Rinnegan is an ordinary boy.
2. If it wasn't for Konoha's ninjas, he probably would have continued living with his parents.
3. He could have died, if it wasn't for Konan saving him.
4. In the Sannin fight he could have also died + Orochimaru could have killed him when they approached him.
5. There is ABSOLUTELY no point in Tobi giving his Rinnegan to some random kid instead of keeping it for himself.
6. Nagato didn't revive Madara nor did he help Tobi. They just had common goals and Tobi manipulated him.
7. Nagato could have died in the Hanzo fight.
8. Nagato didn't tell Jiraiya he had those eyes from the beginning. He obviously saw the difference between normal eyes and Rinnegan. This kinda implies he awakened it.
9. How the heck did Tobi find Nagato and implanted a Rinnegan to him? When we saw Nagato with his Rinnegan for the first time he was like 7-8 years old kid with his father and mother. C'mon.
10. Nagato had different plans for the future unlike Tobi. Why would Tobi give a Rinnegan to a guy he would most definetly have to fight in the end?

I could go on and on, but there isn't any point. You can clearly see that there is no logic in this theory and the fact that Tobi is a lier and manipulator kinda proves it : ). Now if Tobi was some honest guy or something, i might have believed it.

I am terribly sorry, but everything you say goes out the door, after I read the very first point this is what I wanted to answer it with, and mind you this makes all arguments obsolete, heres how I know Tobi isnt lying

No point trying to justify plot. If Nagato wanted to kill him he would have easily.

that... I've explained it at least 10 times in past threads, I don't feel like doing so again... Just remember how Nagato was trying to capture Naruto, wile Naruto was trying to kill Nagato... After all, it's all clear when they fight with Itachi and Killer B against Nagato, when Naruto is in Kiubi mode, and Nagato captures him, and is ready to remove his soul, if he wanted. So, yeah, it's quite obvious that Nagato > Naruto...

We are not talking about some simple battles here.

That doesn't mean Tobi gave Nagato the Rinnegan... It just says that Madara was expecting to be revived by Nagato.

Whoa there, in my opinion, you need to get a whole new perspective on manga, meaning look at things from a whole new angle or just a different one. I see Naruto as a story of Naruto's life not a plot with constant ass pulls for the "protagonist" lol, no offense.....

Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique

Point being, Madara who should be more than a 100 years old botched a plan to revive himself through a kid from the Uzumaki clan with the Rinnegan.
Dont you think youre being just a little bit naive? Im not shrugging by the way im just raising my hands and saying "Cmon guy! I mean why would a 100 year old dead man know about some kid that isnt even from his clan?

I think youre being naive.

Yes story of Naruto's life filled with plot that's most likely already planned out. So the strongest villain will ultimately fail in the end. If you are not able to see that then well I have nothing to say.

Also please elaborate on what perspective I should take on the manga? I'm rather curious about your current view towards it.

Well would you rather have the Villain's winning in the end and the whole world going to hell? To me Naruto is the only other real anime/manga out there right next to DBZ. What I mean by that is when the writer actually tries to get some sort of message across instead of just mindlessly throwing some form entertainment around to keep people intersted. I would even go as far as to say Naruto beats DBZ in certain aspects.

Naruto and DBZ are the only two anime's that I have considered to be on a level beyond. You know when art crosses that line and becomes something greater, just like Deidaras artistic explosions. Toriyama generated the idea of true gentleness achieving true power, that was Goku! Vegeta spent his entire life trying to catch up to that guy, even being the only son of the King of all saiyans didnt help.

But in the end as Goku showed his true self with SS3 Vegeta realised his attempt to redeem himself was futile and didnt prove anything, he was never able to catch up to Goku because he was driven by his Hatred and Pride, and Goku was driven by his passion for fighting and for the preservation of any and all good things in the world. Toriyama showed a guy who was a bajillion times stronger than superman but was gentle enough to give a mass murderer a second chance at life at his passing whim.

Ill tell you more about Naruto and its roots once it is over, until then, try to enjoy manga without thinking about where the story is going and how things will turn out, dont ruin it for yourself because of some story building 101 bullcrap and remember how you percieved it as a child.

Yes yes all that getting the message across is nice and all but it doesn't change the fact that plot no jutsu exists. And the bold that I've highlighted just goes to show that even you, albeit unconsciously, admit that there is such a thing. That main characters will overcome the villains despite the logic and understanding. And yet you have created this thread to try and say otherwise in the Naruto vs Pain incident. :sy:

Also, I have no idea why you would even try to compare DBZ and Naruto because its irrelevant and totally different universe.

Nagato recieved the Rinnegan from Madara and Naruto recieved the Kyuubi from Yondaime Hokage. The ultimate eyes against the ultimate chakra!
its unknown where nagato got it. its possible tobi ordered the hit on nagatos parents, awakening rinnegan for him after finding out he had potential.

Can I not say, in the same sense that Nagato was not himself when he was fighting with a borrowed Rinnegan? Rinnegan cancels Kyuubi says more in your terms.

Oh please a baby that doesn't know anything doesn't know himself.1

By the way the Kyuubi was still inside Naruto. What you saw was the Six tailed transformation of the Kyuubis "Jinchuuriki"!!

Oh please a baby that doesn't know anything doesn't know himself. That is complete nonsense man.

Your going to deny the fact that naruto wasn't himself when he was about to pill off the sealing jutsu? Please your counters are becoming rather dull.
@ underlined, everything in the manga is due to plot.

Your going to sit here and deny the fact Nagato could of killed naruto when he captured him?Your fighting a battle that can't be won due to the fact your fighting against a joke use by thousands of people.

Due to the plot Nagato did not kill naruto...you people are getting all worked up over a joke."Plot no jutsu" is a joke phrase used to say why things could of happened a different way. Please your replies are complete nonsense now.

Reason why Naruto beat Pain is because Naruto is the main protagonist. Pain could of easily killed Naruto in battle or captured him but the plot had other ideas simple.

That current Naruto could not have beaten the six paths of pain if it were a death match.

The battle would have been much different if the intent were to kill..
