The original paragraph:

Far eastern swampland said to be where the founder of the Kisei Clan raised the first dead: the Inferi. The Dead Marshes, now void of undead, are still littered with rotting corpses and other disturbing sights. The river that bisects the landmark spills over onto the land, giving it its marshy appearance. The waters of the marsh are said to be laden with sinew and body parts, remains from the risen dead that were used in a great battle between the Radiant Order, Noldor Clan, and Kisei.

The new paragraph:

These lands used to be far eastern swampland said to be where the founder of the Kisei Clan raised the first dead: the Inferi. The Dead Marshes, now void of undead, used to be littered with rotting corpses and other disturbing sights. The river that bisects the landmark tended to spill over onto the land, giving it its previous marshy appearance. The waters of the marsh were said to be laden with sinew and body parts, remains from the risen dead that were used in a great battle between the Radiant Order, Noldor Clan, and Kisei.

The once abandoned battlefield, filled to the brim with rot, decay and decomposition seemed to have been cleaned. Or at least returned to the earth where it can feed the soil and decompose properly. The swampland has become soft-loamy soil irrigated by the river that splits through the land. The river still spills over covering the land in small waves of clean clear water that dribbles in from the river with the potential to sustain plant-life, or crops, like rice. It seems that the soil could sustain various types of plant-life or crops depending on what is built on top of the new foundation or even a fortress should one be built. The lands have been claimed in the name of Tsumigakure.

The first thing Tsumigakure did with the sprawling landscape was to build a massive wall, through the use of Earth Release. This defense was created upon the eastern border between the Mother Cult's lands and the vast number of lands claimed in the name of Tsumigakure. This defense's purpose was to stave off the chance of another Mother Cult incursion. More than anything it was a line in the sand, for the Mother Cult to learn their place in this new world as Tsumigakure began to box them in away from the mainland.

The original paragraph:

Some forest can be found in the Motoi Drylands, but the temperate area is mostly dominated by rolling hills of dry grassland, with intermittent ridges and rock formations. The inhabitants of the Motoi Drylands are concentrated mostly small, rural communities. An abandoned Uchiha compound can be found here, much of it having been destroyed by fire. At the edge of the landmark is the shore line which consist of multiple houses and a large sea port made entirely of wood that was created for the inhabitants.

The seaport has since been populated with numerous warships stolen from Tobusekai from the Ashikaga family and repurposed for use by Tsumigakure. These ships are currently used to trade between the mainland of Tsumigakure and their currently held lands in Tobusekai. It also seems that the once abandoned Uchiha compound has seen a resurgence in Uchiha who have reclaimed their home, and are now working alongside Tsumigakure for the betterment of both of their clans, deriving protection from the Golden Sabbath and Tsumigakure while providing a place for seafaring trade routes.

Relevant Links: Tempest Mount (240)
Type: World Change
The original paragraph:

Tempest Mount is a unnatural barrier erected by the Great Mother Cult to deter outsiders from unnecessarily wandering into their eastern territory. Using chakra, the cultists have produced an eternal storm which has raged above for months. The storm is akin to a stationary category five hurricane and shows no signs of weakening or abating in the near future. It has wrought untold destruction on the land, leaving the forest that the region once housed in an ecological disaster. The storm reduces movement speed by 60% for all those that enter the landmark and reduce visibility to short-range, regardless of Doujutsu or sensory used.

While a small portion surrounding the outskirts of the landscape may still feel the effects of the storm, after being charted by members of Tsumigakure a huge barrier was put up to separate most of the land from the raging storm above showing the devastation left. However, while the inside of the barrier one is shielded from the raging storms effects, they would have their chakra sealed by 40% as well as not be able to use techniques above S rank due to the barriers special properties.

The original paragraph: Dainashi’s surface is a cold, mountainous and hostile area, home to only a few hardly plants and animals. Beneath the surface, however, a grand city has been built, cut into the rock of a man-made cavern. The city’s origins are mysterious; a small mining expedition happened upon it while tunnelling, but since then many have flocked to it. The city itself, now named simply after the area, is a work of exquisite craftsmanship and its huge buildings were full of riches when it was discovered, but entirely abandoned with no signs of its original inhabitants. The original tunnel is still the only way to the city, which now teems miners, scavengers and even renegade ninja clans, all searching for riches.

The city’s origins are mysterious; a small mining expedition happened upon it while tunneling, but since then many have flocked to it. The city itself, now named simply after the area, is a work of exquisite craftsmanship and its huge buildings were full of riches when it was discovered, but entirely abandoned with no signs of its original inhabitants. The original tunnel is still the only way to the city, which leads into the magma filled cavern with a single bridge leading to the only gate into the city. This fortress is the base of operations for the Rising Cloud clan, and the inhabitants that once searched the region in search of riches have all coalesced into the beginnings of a small village.

The original paragraph:

The Battlements is a wall erected by the Great Mother Cult as a final line of defense before entering their sacred territory in the Shard of Evil. The Battlements is manned by an array of soldiers; a mix of undead skeletal warriors, risen dead, and cultists man the walls using an array of chakra-based techniques and steel weaponry to protect their territory. At the base of the wall wild beasts captured from the Selva Oscura roam, tamed by the Great Mother Cult they protect the wall from any intruders. Those that dare venture here frequently find themselves running away in fear as the beasts chase them, making them easy targets for the archers atop the wall.

The new paragraph:

The Battlements was a wall erected by the Great Mother Cult as a final line of defense before entering their sacred territory in the Shard of Evil. Now it does the opposite, boxing the Mother Cult in keeping them from expanding westward through Tobusekai. The Battlements used to be manned by an array of soldiers; a mix of undead skeletal warriors, risen dead, and cultists at one point manned the walls using an array of chakra-based techniques and steel weaponry to protect their territory. At the base of the wall wild beasts captured from the Selva Oscura used to roam. They were tamed by the Great Mother Cult they protected the wall from any intruders. That was until Tsumigakure came.

Soon after their landing upon the Lost Shores, Tsumigakure began to expand out into Tobusekai. Aurelius Vayne a member of Tsumigakure took the initiative to clear the land of undead, cultists, and beasts. This left the wall devoid and defenseless so the Mother Cult sent in reinforcements to grasp their hold upon the Battlements. Seeing this, Tsumigakure sent another representative to clear out the lands once more, this time sending a message to the Mother Cult. They built a wall that connects to another wall in the Dead Marshes ( 242 ) creating a defense running north to south defending against the expansion of the Mother Cult.

The temple cannon be seen as it is hidden behind a distortion barrier created by technology, making the temple appear as the side of the mountain. Normal sensory is blocked by the barrier while the field also stops Sharingan and Rinnegan from being able to see through it. The temple is reinforced with graphite carbon, made by the Kage of Shimogakure, Magnus Uchiha.

Note: This is the home landmark of Shimogakure.

Declined. Reiterating past checks from ZK, one of the mods before me who alongside Drackos, LoK and others built the foundation for the Ninja World. "this is just wayyyyy too focused on giving you some advantages when being attacked. That's not what this is for." and "This thread is not designed to be used for optimizing the defenses of your clan in actual battle situations." Permanent defenses like the ones you're trying to obtain here ( and even some done by my own villagers, that have yet to be checked, Vegeta in this case ) would need to be obtained through victory in wars as a prize, or through Colonial Income/Village Kumi to buy special artifacts ( something I will need to follow up on in the future ) or artifacts obtained in the Ninja World via the Marketplace.

Ruined Temple

The Ruined Temple is a singular religious site in Tobusekai located at the heart of an offshoot of the Strand of the Ancients. The temple is positioned along the rivers and is the only notable quality of the region, especially when compared with the sprawling religious complex that is the Strand to the North. It is noted that the temple here was destroyed by the Great Mother Cult recently, although for reasons that are not entirely clear. The amount of rubble that remains suggests that the temple was once one of the greatest structures throughout the land.

The new paragraph:
Radient Gardens:

A once quiet and peaceful part of Tobuseki, a temple was build below the Strand of the Ancients, with natural beauty through rivers and forests that surround it. A small and unimportant temple, became the target unknown to anyone of the Great Mother Cult. After being destroyed, it was built back up, and is now defended and the home of the Tenshi Clan. Renamed Radient Gardens, the Temple was rebuilt in a grand scale, housing many travellers and warriors of the Tenshi Ichizoku. The temple that is surrounded by rivers and forests stands as a monument to the guardians that are the Tenshi, dedicated to protecting the lands. The Head of the Tenshi Order sits willing to guide and give advice to anyone seeking it, looking to help anyone on their journey.

Radient Gardens is considered a Clan Sanctuary; it cannot be directly claimed and members of the Tenshi clan may spawn their biography into the Ninja World here.

Declined or Pending if you want to discuss it with @Lord of Kaos

Soooo, a few problems.

1. No in-character roleplay to facilitate this claim or to alter the landmark.
2. This LM is already claimed by Tsumigakure so, it would need you to reclaim it, not just claim it. Which at the moment is something you can't do as a member of Shimogakure due to our treaty. It would be an attack or a hostile action to reclaim an already claimed LM.
3. I'll have to ask LoK if new Custom Clans can do this as this bypasses and makes a normally claimable LM unclaimable indefinitely.

Clan Sanctuaries: This type of landmark designates a sanctuary, or home base, of a particular Custom Clan. Clans, not in the Clan Systems sense but as Custom Clans, represent one of the three major forces in Tobusekai that exert influence and compete with others. Clan Sanctuaries, like Sacred Sites, cannot be altered in any way. They also cannot be claimed or colonized by any party. Clan Sanctuaries operate as a place for new clan biographies to spawn at. This does not mean members of the clan can freely spawn there after already entering the Ninja World. This only applies for new biographies that have yet to step into the Ninja World.

Among the tribal ninja clans there exists a greater clan of many ninja monks, known as the Soundless Temple. A strongly resembling old Shaolin Monastery except that it only houses resigned ninja monks. Recognized for keeping their information hidden from the outside world, the temple borders have a profound secrecy. Like most Ninja Monk Temples, they too were led by a respected Council of Elders. Composed of the Wise Elder, the Enlightened Elder, the Sect Elder, and most Empathetical Elder, they were both the political and religious authority also serving as counsel for their citizens along being the Soundless temple's Ninja Monk instructors.
Approved. Taking out the part that specifies the hierarchal structure of the monks. This only needs the landmark information.

Below the Island, there exists a docile turtle-lion like creature with webbed feet; finger joints made of soft tissue, in-similar function to joints that cover crabs. The Lion-turtle's body resembles the anatomy of a normal turtle but, with the face, paws, and tail similar to those of a lion. While quite proportional, when compared to size of this small island. It devotes its farmable soil-rich, and nutritious hard shells to the island, which eventually feeds growth for flourishing plant-life that can sustain several species of animals (Notice: S-rank Jutsu offensively affected upon the turtle can terminate the whole island's mobility). This effectively creates small ecosystems on the back of the lion turtle, which neither benefit nor harm the host in question. Given the Island's movability, during the odd NW Arcs, this island appears to be closer to Yume Island (174).
Explanatory Notes: "This isn't giving, attaining, or receiving any Ninja World perks to the LM as the 'location change' is rather just relative. Given Ninja World landmark traveling isn't affected, nor is the whole Landmark attaining any defensive perks, this all purely role-play cosmetics that is adding flavor to the world's story building."

Currently an over grown copious amounts of bioluminescence Algae is found throughout the landmark across all matter, ever so growing.
Declined. The algae can stay, the sentience can't. Since it has a limited chakra pool and an arc timer it wouldn't be able to remain sentient the way you explained. It would return to normal algae eventually. Eventually being the moment you stopped supplying the -10 chakra to sustain it, it ran out of chakra, or the next arc rolled around. So as I said if you want to cover the LM in algae, that's fine. It's actually similar to something @Shady Doctor did early on with Stygian Water. However, it's not going to be a living, sentient defense, permanently the way your roleplay implies.

Historically, because of a mysterious phenomenon affecting the ocean current, shipwrecks in the archipelago have drifted here for centuries, until it simply became custom to purposefully leave the vessels here. A teeming ship breaking industry thrives here and locals come for miles away to engage in the practice of wrecking, hoping to find valuables in abandoned shipwrecks. Further inlands a number of mining communities exist that dig for minerals in the rocky hills there. Like most of the archipelago the area is almost perpetually covered by mist.

With the land reshaped by an ancient artefact, a wall of solid rock standing 50 meters tall surrounded the landmark with a single opening, a large pair of gates on the western shore leading down to the only port. The wall leads around to a large volcano in the north east. Declined. The roleplay related to these changes was invalidated here and here. This means the roleplay for this change never happened invalidating these changes. On top of this, I didn't notice you were inherently switching your biography with that mission, due to the fact that I didn't read the "Prelude" bit assuming it was filler or off-topic roleplay. That is on me for not thoroughly checking into the biography you were using.
When the essence of a character is altered (history, appearance, etc) or the character is outright dropped then the implications of character change are even more severe in the Ninja World. Simply put, when a character undergoes a change that results in an entirely new character, or the character is dropped, then this rule goes into effect. In the case of this happening during a Ninja World Story Arc, then all progress is lost on that character. All Artifacts, Ryo (in banks and on person), as long as positions within clans, Akatsuki, and villages are lost. It will be as if this character has died, and has lost all their possessions bound to the Ninja World. Biography and Ninja World Moderators have discretion when examining whether or not a biography has been fully reset in the Ninja World when dropped or changed.

Important Note: When a biography is dropped or replaced during the grace period between Arcs, then the harsh punishments of the above rule are lessened. In the case of this if a biography is dropped during the grace period and replaced with another then the new biography can keep their position in their village, clan, or Akatsuki (at the discretion of the Zero Seal holder), and they retain their artifacts. The only exception to this is the loss of all Ryo. Simply put, this rule requires you commit your biography to a single arc fully.

The new paragraph: Though peaceful communities and villages also exist there as well, Kurikita is mostly known for the gangs of corsairs that base themselves along the navigable river there, attacking ships that pass between Kurikita and Jiro Island on their way into the Hanguri Gulf. Recently, the clan occupying the lands, Kaizen, created an academy for children to learn at. It consists of many classrooms and staffrooms, and includes a dōjo on the middle of the building. There is a training ground just outside the building. A huge underground mansion has also been created below the landmark, large enough that it occupies the same amount of space above ground that people live on. It consists of 4 floors, each with 20 rooms each. Each of the corners on the topmost floors has a trapdoor leading to the outside which is concealed.

Approved. Removed: Only those who already know the location of the trapdoors will notice them.

The new paragraph:

Motoi Drylands

A Vast woodland called the Forest of Memories can be found here, the rest of the temperate area is dominated by rolling hills of dry grassland, with intermittent ridges and rock formations. A Mountain range neigbours the Large Industrial-like City called New Shinramoto which has been recently constructed here, next to the massive body of Water called Lake Alicia. The old inhabitants of the Motoi Drylands have moved here with the Uchiha Compound now refurbished and populated within as well.

New Shinramoto
A Very Large City founded by Lena of Shinramoto, Sado Yasutora, Nakano Uchiha and Captain Zeri of Mori. Formed on the coast as the people and heart of this city started out as nought but humble Fishermen. Evacuees from Shinramoto neighbour of the Ruins of Chungsu came here seeking refugee with Tsumigakure, but also to make a new life for themselves that they can thrive in - uniting with the remainder of the Uchiha Clan hiding in the destroyed compound and the already settled port town in the Motoi Drylands. New Shinramoto was created so that a people may live comfortably and safely.
New Shinramoto Area Descriptions
The Provinces - The Main City is made up of Five areas, They are split up as the Mori Province, Motoi Province, Senshitsu Province, Machi Province and the Uchiha Province. The Mori Province hugs the Mountains that protect the left side of the city, but also runs along the coast and left side of Shinra Port; Mori also houses the Great "Issho Fort" and Hawk's Eye. Senshitsu Province is where a Nobleman and his fishing gear (now expanded to other trades) company thrive, the marketplaces are also mostly located here as Trade booms in this part of the city, nearer to the Hawk's Eye.

The Machi Province made up of Farmers looks mostly after the Vast Farmland outside the right of the City. Just above the Machi Province is the Motoi Province on the coast looking over the right side of Shinra Port, here resides the people originally of the Motoi Drylands and it's Fishermen.

The Uchiha Province is the newly refurbished Compound, their relic now the centre piece to this part of town as Sigil designed buildings surround it with a Ninjutsu training school and Military Barracks located in this sector as well. The Uchiha Mansion is where the Mangekyou Sharingan wielder Nakano Uchiha resides and leads her clan.

Shinra Port - This great Port scales across the whole coast of the City and overlaps with all the provinces that it neighbours, this port is so vast and great that it reflects the City's Sailor History and Heart. The Docks have houses and building lining it on stilts in the water, so much so that it could be it's own hanging off Coast Town residing above the surface of the water. Many Ships come and go from this great port to make trade, catch fish or depart for adventure.

River Danketsu - This river splits apart the provinces of Mori & Senshitsu on the left of it with Motoi, Machi and the Uchiha on the right. This River connects the Aisu Bay with Lake Alicia, along it's wide river are tall bridges and gatehouses which allow the passage of ships and boats to the inner ports that line the sides of the large river mostly at Senshitsu Province.

Issho Fort - Issho Fort overlooks the Mori Province built up against the Mountains, it is where the Council of New Shinramoto meet to discuss the goings on in the City, it's also the City's last defence and evacuee spot as tunnels are deep into the mountains should the need arise that the citizens of New Shinramoto need to seek safety. The Members of the Council as of now are Nakano Uchiha, Captain Zeri of Mori, Lena of Shinramoto, The Boss of the Farmlands, The Noble of Senshitsu, the Chief of Oka-Wan and the Mayor of Motoi, a spot is also reserved for the current leader of the landmark, currently that is the Tsumikage.

Hawk's Eye - Neighbour to Issho Fort and also built against the Western Mountains, Hawk's Eye is the most unique structure of New Shinramoto - a new way of trade and travel not yet explored by other places. Hawk's Eye are multiple towers and platforms that reach high into the sky where Airships come and go for trade and transport. These Airships travel above the clouds and bring new people seeking safety without the need to travel on foot and risk the wilderness; they also bring in trade for other locations or can be hired for adventuring.

Western Gorge & New Oka-Wan - The Western Mountains that surround half of the Large City have a hidden Gorge/Ravine path which is almost impossible to trek, hidden within these mountains via a diverging path in the Ravine is the humble Town of New Oka-wan, almost a reflection of the one in Shinramoto - these people keep to themselves and are fierce unforgiving warriors.

Lake Alicia - A Massive Lake directly Southwest of the City, just outside it's walls. This Body of Water is connected to Aisu Bay through River Danketsu and serves as irrigation and a foundation for the city. It's used for drinking water from the Mountains directly beside it and even has a couple of Hot springs located nearer to the city which have been opened for Trade. Lake Alicia covers a large area of the Motoi Drylands now.

Forest of Memories - Surrounding Lake Alicia, hugging the Southwestern wall and the Mountains this Forest is large and vast, the deeper gone the more lost one can become and be amongst the wonders of nature. Somewhere in this forest is a bit of a swampland with a Large Swamp house suspended above the water where Lena usually resides. It is called the Forest of memories because on some select trees there is names carved onto them, the names are those of the Fallen in the "Battle of Shinramoto".

The original paragraph: It is hard to say why, but the climate of Qingshui is warmer than that of its neighbours and a wider variety of flora and fauna can be found here than in most other areas of the Land of Fire. Tall, but gradual hills run along the edges of the area, making it feel like one big valley. Inside the sheltered center is a remnant of the Freehold; an open-air sculpture park featuring the likeness of their greatest commanders, statesmen and philosophers. A number of villages are scattered around the hills; many of which are known for producing talented artists.

Not a single statue remains in the park, however. A number of villages are scattered around the hills; many of which are known for producing talented artists.

Type: Simple Change
The original paragraph:

The north-western part of Kinai is also the most urbanized: its only port, the biggest on the island, is built on marshland, but its foundation has been reinforced with wooden platforms, bases and pillars for centuries and the city surrounding it has grown to cover most of the soft quagmire. Here, produce and goods from across the archipelago and beyond are packed, stored and transported across the known world. The northwestern area is rather mountainous and most communities there are found in valleys or depressions surrounded by steep hills or cliff formations. Like most of the archipelago the area is almost perpetually covered by mist.

The North-West Kinai Island is a designated Ninja World Marketplace and Independent Bank.

In the aftermath of Isobu, the Three Tails, going wild in the ocean near this flat and open area of the island, several tidal waves have threaten to ravage the sprawling port town, until Isabella Uchiha created a gargantuan crescent of fungal sponge kms away from the marsh-shores. The people of the Water Archipelago thus witness the birth of the Great Fungal Reef, a natural barrier that protects the North of Kinai from tidal waves and the fury of the ocean, while being a uberous spot for fish and marine life to permeated through its many holes and crevices, and take root in its nutritious fungal flesh. The already fruitful port town, a hub of of the World Economy, grew exponentially with this protective tourist attraction.

The new paragraph: Yume Island is the home of a huge, but dormant volcano that occupies most of the island’s frozen, rocky and thick snow covered surface. Snow and ice are a constant presence here and blizzards are a very common occurrence. The island is isolated and is void of humans and animals. The now dormant volcano eradicated its inhabitants a long time ago and those that survived ran across Gaikotsu Bay and knew it wasn't habitable anymore. Long before the volcano erupted a branch of the Yuki family made it into their home as they sought refuge from the wars against their poweful kekkei genkai. After the last eruption, all the ice was melted and frozen again, creating an even stronger and thicker layer of ice under which lay the very thick traces of cooled magma, covering the whole island a couple meters in depth. Toward the center of the island, just at the foothills of the volcano, a neverending blizzard circles around, hiding from eyesight what lies beneath, in the heart of the island.

  • Urals:
The Urals is a large, inhospitable and mountainous area with very little in the way of flora, fauna or habitation. Large, ofttimes snow-clad mountains stretch as far as the eye can see, with deep gorges and rock formations occasionally dotting the monotonous, if still breathtaking scenery. Some rare species of both predator and prey scrape out a living here, but they are few in numbers.
  • Heaven's Ocean:
Heaven’s Ocean is famous for the natural crystal formations that have been discovered in deep tunnels in the rocky terrain here there. The minerals in its mountains are often pretty to look at, but brittle by some defects of theirs. The locals here use ninjutsu to grow fields in both the roof and bottom of the deep cave systems here, and by night minerals and crystals both provide natural luminescence.

Through once traversing its small tight tunnel-like arc way resides a unique room that which was made eras ago, fashioned with two gigantic knightly statues wielding halberds, a white bark tree behind the statues positioned directly in the center of them both, with two massive lanterns fixed on either side of the room. The floor is made out of white brittle tile with white branches occasionally breaching through its surfaces whilst a mysterious anvil is placed near the center of the room.
