Spawning as Sephiroth: https://animebase.me/threads/sephiroth-the-one-winged-angel.773164/

Mission Elements: Meet with a major faction representative (4)
Mission Summary: Meeting the the head and second in command of the Ashina Clan as well as the head of the Hirata Clan

The red fever had worsened in the Land of Fire, ever since Tiamat's departure civilian bodies have lined the streets of Keishi, the once bustling business center of Tanigakure. It had now been turned into a morgue or in lighter cases a quarantine zone. Sephiroth walked these streets during Madara's absence, naturally once the Kage was off to handle his own business responsibilities fell on Sephiorth. He normally doesn't frequent this section of the village but he was summoned by local residents about an on going riot taking place outside of the landmark's bank. Smoke filled the sky as Sephiroth approached the inner part of town and chants echoed in the alleyways.

THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING FOR US! THEY ARE STEALING OUR SUPPLIES, OUR FOOD AND WHAT DO THE ONES IN CHARGE DO? THEY DO NOTHING! DOWN WITH THE TEKIKAGE AND HIS PAWNS! WE'VE HAD ENOUGH!

As this was shouted, they lit local businesses aflame.

Sephiroth emerged from behind the crowd and in a calm tone addressed them. His voice calm. yet stern enough to strike the hearts of everyone around him.

Is that so? Who has been stealing from you? Sephiroth inquired. From what he understood, these people had not much left to steal. The appearance of the red fever decimated the work force, not much food was being produced and the same goes for the supplies.

Yea, It's so! You know damn well who has been stealing from us. And yet you've done nothing! This town runs on agriculture. It directly funds this marketplace but You wouldn't know that because you aren't even from here! Ever since you incorporated us into your... your JOKE of a village, you've done nothing for us!

Another from the crowd chimed in, a young woman who was clearly afflicted with an intense case of red fever.
T-the Ashina clan. The Ashina on the other side of town...they've ...they've had control of the fields for decades. And they are.. not giving us our half... *cough* *cough*

Those damn Ashina! I caught them breaking into our warehouse and stealing the few reserves of food we have left. These people on the street. Most of them aren't even dead due to the Red Fever! It's due to STARVATION and neglect. Us Hirata are suffering because of Ashina evil and your incompetence! added in an elderly woman. Mostly likely one of the Hirata's elders.

Sephiroth listened to their cries and pleas against the Ashina clan. They had a history of conflict with the Hirata clan. Contrary to their beliefs, he had been keeping an eye on the Ashina-Hirata conflict since they were assimilated into the village. While smaller, Ashina's influence not only controlled the agriculture fields around the marketplace, but they also had influence over surrounding landmarks. Their power ran deep even before Tani's formation. However, he responded in kind.

The crimes of the Ashina will not go unnoticed. However, your aggression is misplaced. We do not typically interfere with petty clan rivalries, but the destruction of the market center will not be tolerated. You out number the Ashina, whether you have supplies or not. Do what you will with that information. But seeing how bloodthirsty you all are. I will visit them myself. We have things to....discuss. Sephiroth turned his back to the crowd and began to make his way to confront the head of the Ashina.

About an hour later Sephiroth arrived at the outskirts of Keishi, the Ashina Estate. The Ashina have been out in these lands for ages, staying to themselves unless they had to do business. The architecture was vastly different, modeled after old shinto temples. As he approached the entrance, Sephiroth was greeted by a young man , most likely a servant or low ranking member of the Ashina. Sephiroth spoke

Take me to Isshin Ashina. We have business to discuss. It concerns the Hirata Clan. Upon hearing the words "Hirata Clan", the man's eyes darted towards the ground in disgust, reluctantly directing him to the inner sanctum of the Ashina estate. Isshin's office located on the fifth floor.

In there. The escort quickly left before closing the door behind Sephiroth. What he saw surprised him deeply, it was a bedridden Isshin, most likely due to the complications of the Red Fever. Sephiroth walked over and looked down on him.

The Hirata, you've been coordinating the theft of their supplies and leaving them to rot. But it looks like you aren't in much better condition....Ashina.

Sephi..roth. The Hirata... they..take up too much resources. Their clan- too big.. such a waste of...energy to save them. Isshin tried to sit up in his bed. We.. as Ashina. Have a duty... to maintain the power of this clan. Our influence stretches far. Why should...should we help those who oppose us where we have allies... all over Tanigakure?

The power that your clan has, only still exists because I allow it. The truth is, we have use for you and your family. You have access to the other clans across the village. A local governance if you will. But the question is... what use do we have for you in this state? You are weakened. What is stopping the Hirata from taking up what little arms they have and storming you? They have nothing to lose and everything to gain. What will you do, Isshin?

Isshin's silence was extremely telling. The Ashina themselves were weak and would likely lose a battle against the Hirata at this state.

I suggest you come to terms with them quickly. Because two things are inevitable. You continue to exacerbate the issue, and the Hirata will attack and when that happens the Ashina would inevitably fall. You can't outlast them.

Isshin finally spoke. I, Isshin Ashina, have to put the family first... I need.. to protect them. Tomorrow... I along with my send down my second in command and financial advisor will come *cough* to the marketplace. There, will try to make ... peace with the Hirata.

- Next Day -

The marketplace was in a worse state than it was before, smoldering craters were buildings once stood, the blood of men, women and children painted the streets. Chants were replaced with screams. The Ashina attacked overnight, to strike first against the Hirata clan. They thought it better to strike first to have a chance than to wait for the Hirata to make their move.

PEACE WAS NEVER AN OPTION, HIRATA. BE WIPED FROM THE EARTH! Genichiro Ashina, the grandson and second in command to Isshin, yelled. To ever think we would broker a peace treaty with you lowly dogs? Don't make me laugh. For the glory of Ashina!
The head of the Hirata clan fuming at the loss of so many of his people barked back, You waste of life! THE END OF THE ASHINA IS NIGH! Isshin didn't even have the guts to face me himself so he sent his bastard of a grandchild to do his dirty work for him. Ha!

Their two swords clashed as members of both their clans perished behind them. Senseless violence in the middle of a worldwide pandemic was a waste. Each physical interaction, every drop of blood shed would further propagate the Red Fever and lead to the destruction of both clans. It seemed Isshin didn't head Sephiroth's advice opting to eliminate his foe by force rather than make peace with them. Sephiroth watched as he approached the center of the battle, using chakra rods to disable their motions.
Is this your idea of peace, Ashina? I thought your grandfather and I had an understanding.

There was nothing to understand. Make peace? Foolishness. Red Fever or not. I'll die before I ever work with them!

Look, I guess there is something me and this thief can agree on!

Sephiroth just sighed and shot two chakra rods one for each man and impaled them in the back of their legs. Sending his chakra into them and stopping their movement.

Take a second to look around you. Your family is dying, your numbers are dwindling not just because of the virus but because of their petty feud. And more importantly... Sephiroth squatted down to the two men. You are putting this entire village in danger. Infighting is a sign of weakness and in these times you cannot afford to be seen as weak. Especially in my eyes. You will broker a deal and put this struggle behind you. or I will see to it myself that neither clan makes it out of this alive. This village was made to unite clans in the quest for power and now look at you.

Grabbing the both of them, Sephiroth brought them to Ashina Estate to speak with Isshin about a peace treaty.

Storyboard Elements: Facilitate a major peace agreement (5)

Sephiroth, along with Genichiro and Kuro, the hirata clan leader, made their way towards Ashina Estate to try and get a peace treaty done settle the angst between both clans. Getting this peace treaty done would not only ensure that the senseless violence would stop but prevent the spread of the Red Fever further.

When we get there, Genichiro you will need to consult your grandfather to issue a plan for peace, if not I'll have to force it with my own hand and you don't want that trouble. Sephiroth said blatantly to the Ashina second in command. He was already annoyed that he had to take his time to stop this childish nonsense.

Regardless of what you say, I am not sold on it either. For the sake of the Red Fever, it may be able to be put aside but full on amnesty is...

Unlikely. Kuro said finishing off Genichiro's thought to echo the same sentiment.

You children will figure this out, one way or another. The Ashina Estate was just up ahead and this could finally be put to rest. However, when they reached the land multiple caravans were stationed outside, all with different insignias, donating different clans. The Ashigata, Miyazaki, Susabi and others were all present. Taken by surprise Genichiro ran towards the main courtyard of the estate, looking for answers. Coming to face a Miyazaki representative.

What's the meaning of this? Why are you all here?

We came as soon as we heard the news. My condolences.

Condolences?! What do you mean what happened?

Word was put out that Isshin... passed away this morning.

This information shook Genichiro to his core. He had just talked to his grandfather the night before he left to confront the Hirata clan. The Red Fever took him, even with all the supplies they had taken from the Hirata clan's reserve, nothing could ultimately save him. Genichiro couldn't help but run towards his Grandfathers room, in which Isshin laid there, lifeless. Naturally, Sephiroth and Kuro followed him in, drawing looks from the leaders of the other clans. Mainly at Kuro because they'd never thought they'd ever see a Hirata step on Ashina grounds. Kuro felt the need to say something. Sorry for your loss.

Interjecting, a young Ashina member spoke out against Kuro's presence. And why are you here? You are not welcome here. And never will be! Leave! Genichiro raising his hand and sticking his palm out towards the young man signnalling him to stop. Now wasn't the time to antagonize their enemy, their focus had to be on their lost of a leader, caretaker and loved member of their family. However, this did not stop the insensitivity of the other clan heads, while did not have an issue with the Hirata clan, wanted to know how to move forward with the alliance between the clans. Many of them, mainly the Ashigata saw this as a way for them to come into power. Not originally from Keishi but from Bulanshaat a couple miles out from the marketplace, they formed an alliance with the Ashina as did the Miyazaki and Susabi in their infancy to stay keep power amongst themselves. They were second only to the Ashina in terms of strength but due to the Ashina weakening, the Ashigata were in prime position to take power unless Genichiro could stop it.

Gyoubu Ashigata spoke sternly. Now that he's gone. Who will lead? Genichiro you are too young to handle such a burden. Too wet behind the ears. I, Gyoubu, will be heading this. Unless there are any contenders...?

Genichiro flared up in anger. How dare you try to use my grandfather's death as a way to use your shady claws to try to usurp power. I should behead you where you stand! He lifted his sword up in anger pointing the tip towards Gyoubu's throat. Gyoubu responded in kind lifting up his hand and pointing his palm towards Genichiro with unique Fuuinjutsu inscription.

Enough. I agree with Genichiro. Now is not the time. Besides you couldn't lead your own dog to eat from its bowl. Emma Miyazaki spoke. Gyoubu snarled at her. So you want to join this whelp? Fine. The Ashigata now declare war on the Ashina and Miyazaki. If you won't graciously let us into power, we will take it by force and domination. But considering that squabble you had with Hirata... you wouldn't stand a chance ASHINA.

You all stood back and let the Ashina abuse us for decades. We side with none of you! We are here present in Keishi, our workers make up a majority of the farmers here. Without Ashina in our way, we will take that power! Kuro exclaimed. No one was ready to back down even in the slightest. It was time Sephiroth spoke up.

Have you learned nothing? You are vying for power in the middle of pandemic. Everyone is short on supplies, not just the Ashina and not just the Hirata. No matter how much power you hoard, The Red Fever will wipe you out. Isshin's death should be a testiment to that. If you want to survive this, it'll take the efforts of everyone to help each other out. Sephiroth sighed. It's gotten to the point where I of all people have to be the voice of reason.

He's also right. None of us are in the position to take any form of leadership role. We barely have enough for ourselves and to take on the burden of another clan. It may be too much, we will be spread too thin. Genichiro, Gyoubu, Kuro. We need to either help each other or stay out of each other's way entirely. What will it be?

Silence filled the room as Genichiro lowered his blade and Gyoubu lowered his hand. You either survive together or die alone. Which will it be? Gyoubu scoffed and marched out of the room, signifying that he had rather try to gain power for himself. Meanwhile Genichiro, Kuro and Emma all looked at each other, trying to figure out who was next. Emma, the Miyazaki are the main textile producers in Tanigakure and fund that market in Keishi. You contribute to about 30% of our local economy. That is not a bond I am willing to break.

Agreed. And your grain sustains us, we cannot afford to lose that bond either.

Kuro was beside himself, to ensure the safety and future of his clan he had to pick a side. Stay in the alliance or try his luck within the Red Fever pandemic. Who is to ensure that Ashina will not step out of line again? How can we trust them after they tried to snuff us out.

That's where I come in. Sephiroth placed himself within the conversation. We have been to lax on how you handle these affairs and I will be stepping in, personally.

The Ashina and Hirata will share the load of the grain production equally 50/50. Any violation of this order by me will be faced with consequences. Miyazaki, you have control of 75% of the textile production in the Land of Fire. You will remain it's head but not in that capacity. The Hirata have the numbers and manpower to take part in that also and they will share in the production of textiles with you.

And what of Gyoubu. He supplied us with weaponry He left and is probably going to try to wrestle power from us. On a united front it would be no issue normally, but this skirmish with the Ashina will leave us weakened.

Not to mention, He wouldn't just stop at the Ashina but will try to have Hirata and Miyazaki bend their knee.

I will be honest with you. Gyoubu's power will be ... repossessed if you can put it that way. Leaving this meeting has sealed his fate and I will handle him. When it's done, weapon production will be shifted over to the Ashina and Miyazaki split between the two clans and territories. This way...

We are all responsible for each other. Each of us have a hand in each other's production rates and markets. To survive, we need to ensure there is mutual peace...

No objections came from any of the leaders. It seemed an agreement had been reached. One overseen by Sephiroth himself and he would enforce.

Any overstepping of these boundaries... and I will rip everything from you. It's a fight you won't win.

Concluding the meeting, Kuro returned to inner Keishi while Genichiro stayed at Ashina Estate to bury his grandfather and prepare a memorial. Emma returned to Pingmay to spread the news of the new conditions of the Alliance. Whereas Sephiroth made his way to Bulanshaat to put an end to Gyoubu and the Ashigata.

[Afternoon]
In his carriage as he studied up on some scripts, he would return them into his personal case. Looking out the window as he approached the trade port, he would see he was on the other side of the land. Upon arrival, several people would approach him as he narrowed his eyes seriously. Introducing themselves to being allies, they'd inform him of the demanding situation that had happened. Furthermore, they would report to him about the scouting report.

Ikiru had many people to rely on, in manner of business but not trust. He had minions to find out where he was needed to assert influence. Not much interested him. Hi thoughts were to see if he would be of great use to his boss. Questions on his mind were of how he could advance the organization.

From the scouts's reports, he would learn that Pingshu (119) native rivers had a relatively an explored amount of fish product capacity that was never fully exported to the traders. That meant a massive cash grab for the 'S-crime' if they could swing the locals under control. Which meant resources for the gang and further help to organization's financial problems, the only problem was that the natives seemed to get in the way for now.

Now as he arrived to the inner marketplace, he would prepare to listen to the next orders. Suddenly as he had arrived, Vane would grab a hold of him leading into the inner quarters as Ikiru would keep looking at his shoulder the whole time that he was being dragged along. Clearly Vane had forgotten his place but, something more had taken is awareness as everyone seemed to prepare for a fight?

"Vane, let go of my arm." (Ikiru)

"No time!" (Vane)

"They'll be time to lose yours, if you don't let me go soon enough." (Ikiru)

"Ack!" (Vane) letting free of Ikiru who would now walk towards the inner compartments that were only for Capos and above. Looking around as everyone had geared up to prepare for combat, he would enter the place as they seemed to had just got word. Setting himself down the boss would start to fill him in about an issue warrant that KouZone had issued a statement saying there were going to start a major tuff war with the 'S-crime' gang. Anyone who traded with them was subjected to be in the 'cross-fire' to their raids.

Rarely did the KouZone and S-crime ever become engaged in combat. Scanning the place once more, Ikiru would ask about where one of the capos were at. To learn that they seemed to had been dealing with a Shinobi that had entered town, in alarm to that. He would request that he be escorted to them right away. Changing over into this more appropriate attire for business, as underboss. A title he had recently acquired now, he had to live up and behave in such a manner.

-Time-skip-

With a few small but relatively quick inner glances to each other, in doubt of the state of the individual in front of them refuting themselves as shinobi. They would carry on with acknowledgement as well discipline, offering to show him true respect with an offer from the leader to shake their hands, before answering their question.

"I. Coin. I'm these two's...'boss' so to say. We sure hope you fancy money? This market has a lot to offer right now, we can guarantee you a discount in some places here. Lucifer, was it, sir. I am not good with names-" (Coin)

"I am Jack or what some people call me, Jax-" (Jack)

"Who calls you that, huh? It sure ain't your us or any girl I've seen, anyways the name's Trell my good sire. We don't think this town is small, right now your by the port were cheap deals in everyday goods can be brought. I see great bargains!"(Trell)

"Tsk, you're bane in my life Trell. Lucifer, you did say you want some information, right?" (Jack)

"I was going to get to that, anyways you two go someone where while I talk with the man. Got it?" (Coin)

-Sigh- "Let's go." (Trell)

"...Gotchu boss, ttyl Luci-" (Jack) saying as he suggested a wink at the man. While Trell would smack their head in gesture to apologize for their actions. Both would move towards a small stall that had a pretty young merchant that had just finished packing up for the day, in eagerness to catch the trade port bargains. Similarly, about the same hour and at this very day, the market seemed to prepare for such auctions. While some stayed open with their shifts switching for such an event, Trell and Jack being Mafia, it didn't mean much as they had already assured to have got their share beforehand.

Meanwhile that transpired, Coin would approach the man to discuss the information he wanted, offering a small tea stall near-by that hadn't closed up for the bargains. "Hmm, the target of a city you'd be looking for would be, here! The Marketplace! Once in a while, lots and lot, by that I MEAN LOTS! Of shinobi and all people of many walks a-like come here to trade, auction, sale, deal, and even bet off items, food, weapons, anything. You name it. It just so happens that since the fever, the market has slowed down and the whole world is struggling but nonetheless here we are. So yes, you're in the right place. This city is the biggest place in the whole land, even people all-over the world come here to live and make their dreams come true."

"Hey Sagashi, you need to come with me." (Ikiru)

Having a similar voice to Trell, including manner of speaking Coin had assumed Trell would be speaking to him. Therefore without turning around, he would wave them off to indicate that he was busy talking to the man. Unaware of the act as Vane quietly watched the interaction as a cold sweat slide down his spine. Ikiru quietly stood there for a moment as the awkward atmosphere started to grow around the place. Without even trying to releasing his intent directly towards Coin, the quiet looming in the place as several others quickly had gathered behind Ikiru.

"Sa..gashi!" (Ikiru)

At a turn to see who kept nagging him, his face would turn pale the moment he would see just who had offended. He now regretfully would kneel to request forgiveness from Ikiru. Who's eyes peered down on them like an a hawk on a hunt. With the nature of the beast resulting in punishment, Ikiru would sigh as he looked to the other man.

"I am sorry for this disruption, I have take his fool with me for a meeting. I hope you've already attain contact information, if not, feel free to come by again, am sure he would be glad to chat with you. Now if you'll excuse us." (Ikiru) as he would say to the individual, he would gesture to Sagashi to pick himself up so they can be on their way.

[Mission Part II] • Army of Me by Bjork

Quick to move about the market, the gang shuffled through the streets as Ikiru retuned to the headquarters to his seat. There, the suits and the shades worn was uniform conduct which was self-evident, as the meeting begun momentarily. The issuing of orders and missions would begin, Ikiru being the center focus as he directed the gang on their daily activities and merits. He would announce publicly that he would, along settle the conflict with the KouZone. The tuff war had begun, not like any other tuff war, this was an eradication of the other gang. KouZone couldn't no longer ignore the S-crime gang.

Despite the low-class tension between the two, the recent accomplishes done by the S-crime, had started to garner influence into the underground's positioning, known in [Black Bar Board] 'triple b'-board to as a determining the impact of each gang. The underground support all gangs which it gave merits and perks to which gang contributed most to the underground. Currently as S-crime had acquired the Dairy farm, the resources as the incoming of Ryo had spiked. Normally, the S-crime had 10% of the dairy farm. The recent changes of 100% control, had thrown out the balance in of order of tuff control. Now to sustain the ranking on the 'Triple B'-board, KouZone had to deter/ control the S-crime.

Now as the Capos all sitting down, Ikiru would initiate the introductions as he conformed with his password and has others also do so. They would all chime in as the boss then began to talk about the missions and the plans for the up-coming tuff-war and the whatnots. Ikiru would sit on his couch alone as the females and lesser members didn't dare approach his space, for once in the past he has punished a female who approached him with such intents with a mental tremor with a simple glimpse.

"
Sagashi, Vane, and Darren. Bring your crew, you'll all be heading out shortly. I will have each of you negotiate and lay out the tuff complaints to the Underground. Since we are relatively close to the base of it's operations, we can have Ikiru escort you there just to be safe. Be on your best behavior, so with that done. We shall have Ikiru meet with the KouZone representatives at the Western Mire, at their base. I doubt it would be safe, so I hope to have the same group move along with him. Keep an eye out for danger. Ikiru, I heard you will go see the Pingshu savages that are inhabiting those lands? If so, along the way if you can head into Kuzuyama; yes those are the lands of the great village, Tsumigakure. I have a client there who needs an underground passage safely, to Aridakumo. Please make sure they get their safe, we need to make a contract with them too. Once you are there, return home for your vacation break, I would then like to discuss with you personally about the future of the gang, if it all goes to plan. WITH THAT, YOU ARE ALL DISMISSED TO YOUR LEADERS!" with the transmitter speaker turning off, the shuffle of command to Ikiru was eminent as he headed down the stairs as a group of one-hundred-ish or so were now under his command. He would direct a few to their capos as he would travel with nine. Those he traveled with were; "Coin" Sagashi Najoku (Capos-Leader: Team), Trell Smith (Subordinate), Jackie Waters (Subordinate), Vane Dumei (Capos-Leader: Solo) with 2 others, and Darren Lun-Gold (Capos-Leader: Solo) with 2 others. Ikiru now taking his scrolls and getting on his expensive suit and shoes, he would enter his automobile carriage. Along with others, they too would enter their own to follow along as Ikiru traveled towards inner sectors of the underground, close to the market but rather not conspicuous.

-Time-skip-

Coming out of his automobile carriage, he would move toward the lower parts of the town, into the back-alleyway. There he would meet a huge guard who would request Ryo and a passcode into the Underground. Confirming the database, the guard would allow Ikiru through as they all entered, Ikiru would take a seat and allow Darren and Jackie to do the negotiations and dealings. An hour of insult trading and bragging while also promises to be made, they had finished their dealings.

"So KouZone is really out for us. We took the placement of the [White Wolves] gang from the 13th spot in the 'triple B' board. Their long time allies in supporting the sea trade using the dairy farm, now we have both gangs trying to get us, while also the LOW TRASH SAPPHIRE BOARS (Darren would say with clear intent to rile up the near-by Sapphire Boars)." (Darren)

"Hm." (Ikiru)

"What did you say!" (Random Sapphire Boar gangster #1) now more of them would come along together to gang up on the S-crime gang. The crowding as each group snared at each other, Ikiru would hear the guards shouting for them to take it outside. Which soon would appear like a standoff of the two as they claimed the other to be lucky, while some calling S-crime to meet them at the outer outskirts to trade blows with them.

"Boss lets us take them, come on", "Boss lets give them a quick smack.", " we can't get these ********** down talk us! Boss come-on!" (S-Crime mob)

"ENOUGH! We have a time crunch, these goons aren't worth our time, if they so much cause trouble with our pacts, I'll personally rid of their existence. That said, lets go." (Ikiru)

Each entering their own carriers, Ikiru would lead the travel to the tuff meeting, this was war. So along the way, they were on high alert, Ikiru was calm through the travel as he had full confidence that he wouldn't have to struggle against a non-shinobi fight.

Right before leaving, Ikiru would promptly make a clone which quickly would race off without being noticed by the locals/ allies. This Ikiru Clone, would be left behind to trace a client that was seeking a deal with the Maifa. The clone would seek them out in Seoyeong (037), right out on the skirts of the lands.

Coming from Seoyeong.

Shayde arrived within the bustling city of Keishi, a far cry from the quaint, humble styling of the Senju compound in Seoyeong. A nagging voice prodded the back of his mind, Greed asking why they weren't headed straight for Tobusekai. Shayde merely dismissed the sentient being's words, knowing that running there with no information about where he'll be, where he's going, or even who he's after was suicidal. With an adequate answer, Greed piped down, and followed Shayde's lead, their first stop, the information center of the Land of Fire. Undoubtedly the best, and perhaps only, place that had what he needed.

Ikiru's clone having taken another route from the main, due to a meeting and mission conflicting in the time scheduling. The clone's goal was to close this deal as to set up a pact/ contract with the client. For they seemed to want a meeting up for inner ring of the maifa underground trading. Looking at the man who appeared to be awaiting for someone, Ikiru would approaching the man. "
Do you happen to be seeking information? I can see your awaiting to meet someone, if am intruding on your day. I'll excuse myself, but before I do. I just...think you have a kin resemblance...a Uchiha Clan Shinobi. Just my guess of course..."

Shayde was taken aback that he was met with someone with an apparent keen eye so early in his arrival, though as this was a city that never slept, and every moment held opportunity, it was only natural vendors, and businessmen would spend each moment wisely. The way the man was dressed, while overtly professional, wasn't in an attempt to hide some snake oil salesman persona. Whether or not the individual could in fact be of use was to be determined, but with his keen eye noting an apparent kinship with him, Shayde couldn't help but expect the man to possess some connections.

"Good eye. Am I really that obvious?"

Shayde had to stifle a laugh as he winked with his blatant crimson eye, obviously telling the man all he needed to know about his heritage.

"Since you're pretty bold, I take it this place doesn't carry any stigma associated with Clans? Not enough time in the day I suppose. I'm not waiting on someone, but I'm indeed looking for information. And with that keen eye of yours, and your shameless inquisition on my business, I take it you're someone who trades in information?"

Shayde raised an eyebrow as he gave the figure another look, this time more thoroughly. Though he'd heard tales, he didn't quite believe the stories that the Mafia were a real organization, and yet this man's outfit matched them to a T. Besides the professional air that comes from a well-made, bespoke suit, there was one other aspect to the stories. They made deals they never went back on, and to do so yourself was to incite their wrath. With a relaxed composure, Shayde awaited an offer of business...

His character in having a judgmental discerning to whomever he meet was profound, enough to warrant price on its own. Ikiru was a Uchiha through and through which gave no surprise to his keen sight to detail as the relative features known to most Uchiha's were exquisitely beautifully shown on the shinobi in front of him now. The two stood with admiration from the bystanders in the area wondering whom was escorting the other. Glimpse of the man's tattoos gave an idea to affirm Ikiru's suspicion in them being a profoundly powerful shinobi in-fact one daring much respect. "Good eye. Am I really that obvious?"

"Only to an experienced eye. Raw sight wouldn't had noticed someone of your stature, good sire. Mind if we head inside for a glass? The crowds surely do inquire of us." saying as he gave a glance to the scene the two had made simply as the ladies had started to gossip about them.

"Since you're pretty bold, I take it this place doesn't carry any stigma associated with Clans? Not enough time in the day I suppose. I'm not waiting on someone, but I'm indeed looking for information. The two had only been standing for merely less than 3 minutes and the community of traders had already begun a tattle. With the small laugh from the man, Ikiru would request to officially introduce themselves. "Of course, in this booming town of traders, I too am among the craft. Call me, Ikiru of the underground traders syndicate. Whom do I have the moment to be amidst of?"

An offer of alcohol to hide their "business" from prying ears. Clearly a master of his "craft". But where this man was a scalpel, his words used with precision to dance around the finer points of etiquette, Shayde was a blunt tool, who preferred the point to be made clearly, though he was not without his manners. He simply didn't have the time or patience for the etiquette required for this level of dealings.

"Pleasure to meet you, Ikiru. And if you're buying, sure. Name's Shayde, of no real importance or renown. Sounds like a half-assed attempt at hiding my identity, I know, but there's really not that much to me. Born and raised in Chungsu, spent years acting as a freelancer, and now I've got a target in mind, but know little of them beyond an honorific. If you can help me, I'll try make it worth your while."

Seeing his words for the warning they were, Shayde spoke in a hushed tone, intentionally making it harder for others to hear. If Ikiru lead the way, he'd gladly talk promptly over a drink.

"...ah, I see. In that manner, Sir Shayde I think a small trade of value to me for this information is needed. I will send my little birds around on this individual's whereabouts information, even as I place a bounty on finding out whomever they are. For all I seek is an all equal quid pro quo, my trade connections spread vast and won't fail until my client is contented with their contract." Quick to understand the man's weary long travels had made him restless and sort to simply eager to rest. The two now into a small bar as the bartender caught a glimpse of who had bolted into his cafe. The two now had already been shown way to their table as the waiters exhibited their best efforts to show them the best service but Ikiru would kindly give a sharp glance to them as to indicate he was in no-need of them at the moment. After they'd received their dinks, as they begun to relax Ikiru would wait to see what they offered. Placing his contract and organization's information on the table.

Shayde wouldn't waste the man's time. If he was serious, and his "birdies" could grant him information he needed, then the deal was as good as done. Provided Ikiru was as good as his word.

"I don't see what I need as small. This information, if you can get me it, means everything."

Shayde paused, then placed his hand on the table between them. Though the act was hidden from Ikiru intentionally, out of a natural fear of a disgusted, or perhaps vehement response, Shayde opened a seemingly hidden mouth within the palm of his hand, then, through the conversion of organic biomass back into it's original state, Shayde produced a sizable coin pouch, seemingly fit to burst. Contained within was every last Ryo he had to his name. No trickery, besides the means of producing the money. No haggling back and forth. This meant everything to him, just as he said, thus, it was only fair he responded in kind, and gave Ikiru everything he had.

"That is all the money I have. No stock investments, no portfolio to speak of. If my math is right, it's just over three and a half grand, and I'm willing to place it as a down payment on whatever you can dig up about a certain Official in the Eastern Continent. Of course, if you decide to string me along, and not deliver, I'll be taking it back however I can. That is how much this means to me."

Shayde paused for a moment, hesitating to place yet more on the table, and yet he knew it would all be worth it in the end. With another concealed action, he then produced a clearly valuable looking weapon, a spear to be exact, of intricate design, and unique composition.

"As for this, it's a spear I... Acquired after I defeated a horrific beast."

Greed simply snorted mentally, and called Shayde a bastard through their mental link, as Shayde continued.

"If you strike someone with it, it doesn't necessarily do damage, but it does have Chakra siphoning properties as far as I can tell. It uses these properties to both replenish your own reserves, while also releasing a pulse that targets seals specifically. I don't know exactly where it's from, but an "appraiser" told me it's from the same golden shores you'll be investigating."

(Gurīdo ∞ Kuishinbō no Sokonashi) Greed ∞ The Bottomless Glutton
Type: Supplementary (Weapon)
Rank: N/A
Range: Self
Chakra: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: Derived from his "mass conversion" ability, whereby all devoured matter is converted into biomass for him to utilize in conjunction with his shapeshifting and assimilation abilities, Greed developed this skill, which he aptly named his "Gluttony". Gluttony effectively allows Greed's biomass system to act as a nigh bottomless storage system for either himself, or his host to utilize, which is visualized as an endless expanse within Greed himself, composed of millions of writhing bodies, skeletons, etc, and submerged in a sea of blood and viscera. Gluttony is initiated upon the act of Greed devouring a desired item, object, etc, following the rules of Greed's "Devour" ability, as detailed within "(Gurīdo ∞ Eien no Kiga) Greed ∞ The Eternal Hunger", minus Chakra costs. This is due to the fact that, unlike with the regular method of devourment, breaking the devoured mass down via mastication, Gluttony requires that Greed devour the target whole, removing the Chakra cost required to break down Ranked matter, while only partially converting the target into biomass, storing it alongside the rest of his accumulated biomass, while leaving it wholly intact. When the user wishes to "withdraw" a "Gluttonized" item, object, etc, they simply have Greed "spit" it back up, reconverting it from his biomass, and back to it's original form. This can be used to allow the user to travel unencumbered by weapons, tools or accessories they may require to perform specific techniques, or to hide valuables that may be the target of theft. In the case of regular tools, such as Kunai, Shuriken, etc, and other common objects, they can be withdrawn passively, and in the case of projectiles, at a faster speed than it would take one to draw a throwing weapon from a pouch. In regards to more unique, or complicated objects, such as one-of-a-kind weapons and the like, this is limited to one per turn for both withdrawing and storing. Finally, Gluttony cannot be used to store any kind of sentient, living target, as they cannot survive the biomass conversion process.

Note: Can only be used by the current host of "(Gurīdo ∞ Eien no Kiga) Greed ∞ The Eternal Hunger".

(Senzo Sentan) – Ancestral Edge
Type:
Artifact
Rank: A-Rank
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A (+25 per strike)
Damage: N/A
Description: The Ancestral Edge is a five foot spear forged from steel and imbued with a mysterious orange ore from Tobusekai, the Eastern Continent. The spear predates the Hangurian Freehold, although is thought to have come after the Sage of Six Paths spread Chakra throughout the world. Unlike traditional and conventional spears, the Ancestral Edge does not cut bone or rend flesh; instead its blunt strikes siphons the essence of that which it hits. In simple terms, the spear drains Chakra from those it comes in contact with, barring the wielder. A single strike, a moment of contact, drains 50 Chakra from the victim and returns 25 Chakra to the user. The 25 Chakra that is not returned to the user is stored within the spear, which is slowly stored up within the spear in order to access its fullest potential: the ability of nullification. Once the wielder has successfully stored 25 Chakra within the spear, the spear can release an invisible pulse of Chakra up to the end of Mid-Range from the user’s position. This invisible pulse of Chakra, traveling at thrice the user’s speed, has the potential to nullify all Fūinjutsu up to, and including, S-Rank for two turns. The spear is remarkably durable, being able to sustain itself from A-Rank attacks. The spear can survive a single S-Rank attack, but after which its defenses will be nullified; this leaves it vulnerable to mere free form damage. The spear’s Chakra reserves are drained at a rate of 25 per turn outside of battle.

With 3600 Ryo, and a rather rare, valuable artifact placed before him, Shayde asked Ikiru, in no uncertain terms;
"So, we got a deal?"
Listening attentively to the man talk, as he was sincere in their tone, facial expressions, even to the eyes realigning to focus! No lies were detected from the man, Ikiru knew this was a mission that would surely take him months to uncover, whomever this person was had crossed a line. To think all the way it had taken to search for this person even as he was attempting to hide his fearsome ninjutsu abilities. Ikiru would nonchalantly react to the sheer gap of power the man had already exhibited. The very bearing to not react was quite something, its facade wouldn’t last however.

Ahh. I see.” Nodding to statement the man had made, he knew this was no matter to ignore. Relying this information to the original was paramount! Receiving the spear, Ikiru would take it kindly as he admired the object. He had plans for it to be hosted at an underground auction for Ryo exchange.

The deal is set, please sign here and take your copy. Given the time limit and when or where you can meet us or me. I will reply this information to as soon as I can, that I do promise. If we fail, we shall return your Ryo along with the items and extra pay for wasting your time. Please understand you cannot reconsider removing your contract without paying twice the amount offered. We do a timely manner service, other regulations are in the contract. Thank you. Shayde, we shall meet the contract, you can count on it.” with him calmly offering a handshake to finish the deal. He would await any further word as he gulped down his vodka.

With a simple flick of a pen, Shayde signed his name, and pocketed the contract.

"Great. I'll be hanging around Keishi for a while, so I'll be in touch soon enough. I hope you'll have something for me by then, but until then, it's been a pleasure, I guess? Gotta admit, this is a first... Anyway, gotta go."

With a seemingly rushed tone, Shayde then downed his entire drink in one go, and promptly left. Perhaps he had just swindled Ikiru, or maybe he simply had business to attend to. More likely the latter. He just handed over his life's savings to a professional stranger, without thinking ahead about the fact he was planning to stay for an indeterminate amount of time. Chances were he was either looking for work, or a nice trash heap to sleep on...

Having finished the deal, the two set off to their own whims. Ikiru would move with the assets back to the warehouse to store the items as well the cash he had received, these were his extra personal funds and the item was to the organization which he would promptly tell the boss about. Suggesting they use it to enter the underground auction that would be hosted soon enough. Now as he was done, he would remember to relay this information to the main. Just as he was to release himself, the boss would ask him if head over the port to oversee the investigation.

Learning of the current issues in the Bay Area, he decided to act on his own accord to make sure issues with the pirates docking would forever be quelled. Taking no one with him that he had at the base, he decided to simply barge into the issue solo. Informing the head boss who had been ill, for their age was quickly catching up to them. Ikiru decided to have a new headquarters for the place due to the influx of new members joining under their organization. The sheer influence was uncanny however, a problem had started to occur the moment unregistered members started to use their banner. In this case, the pirates. This time they had utilized the name of the organization for means that simply weren't allied. Ikiru had to sort this mess out by himself. In his small escorting crew, entering his mobile-carriage (which was quite generic and mass produced) he decided to move towards the port.

Coming from the ports (Kiyorano), Ikiru would dislodge from the carriage as he would walk into the markets but something was awfully off. It seemed the S-crime members seemed quite gloomy as if a death in the family had occurred. Running inside to see what had occurred he would shove the others out of the way as he moved to the inner zones where very few know of. He would reach the place to see that, Lun-Gold was waiting for him. With a small brief explanation of the situation, he would learn that the boss had passed due to the virus. The old were alway subjected to catching the illness quite awfully, now with the situation understood. He would know why the battle he was in was called off, it was merely due to the news that had transpired before. Learning of the death, he had no time to mourn the death of his boss. He had to get S-crime cured, therefore an immediate meeting of high echelons. He then gathered his travel suit and materials, as the new man in charge he had a lot to do. He knew he now needed allies and more contracts more than ever before. He had to expand his connections further to attain greater influence so he could control the underground. This was his boss's wish, Ikiru had to carry it through.

Now as several others arrived, a few mins had passed since word from his mouth had left. He would look to them as he spoke, "I am now in-charge. Is there any objections with that?"

To which none would reply as they all understood. Ikiru wasn't the type of reason with if it came to situation he knew he was completely right with. He was given complete control of the clan and its management therefore any objections would be an attack to his previous boss, meaning punishment was by death.

"Good, we are all head towards the Last Bastion. We can find leads there, then get the cure. We can't have the KouZone getting leads on this. More on the matter, prepare now to depart with me. GO!"

With that statement, he would head out into the open to then create his creation of travel. In the skirts of the land, he would wait for the team to appear, to their confusion as why he had them out in the nowhere. He would turn his back to them as he lifted his hand out, molding enormous chakra that would turn his hand into smoke as it splurged forth in a torrent amount that quickly and slowly enough would start to appear as something. The creature would form as two conjoined beast, "Get on, it won't harm you. We don't have time."

LLM via the smoke beast through the skies.
Itinerary:
Kiyorano (036) > Hanguri Gulf (262) > Nanmen Ocean (263) > Hokubu Ocean (257) > Kasumi Straight (256) > Kaizoku Sea (259) > Witchwood Arena (208) > Last Bastion (209)
Arrival at: 1945

Chakra: 1600 = 1560 | HP: 160
-40 CH to create smoke creation.
(Katon'o Kemuri no Jutsu: Murasakin niato) — Fire Release'o Smoke technique: Deep Purple Art
Rank: C-class to S-class (+1 Rank to Smoke Ninjutsu)
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 15-40 (+10 to depending when used on another jutsu)
Damage points: N/A
Description: Utilizing the elemental-relative nature of fire release to smoke advanced ninjutsu, with excellent chakra control of fire release. Supplementing it with smoke ninjutsu, which they make a distinct form of ash/fire explosive ninjutsu. That appears and acts on a different scale than the regular smoke ninjutsu. Being that this ninjutsu is based on smoke, the user can exhale immense quantities of suffocating gases to cause them to suffer from the lack of air or inability to breathe.

Starts by using the fire style abilities; gas chakra components through a smoke ninjutsu techniques as they knead that chakra in a form such as blowing into a balloon. This smoke appearing white as a summoning’s smoke, it’s then manipulated into objects through the user’s mouths/ in palms of their hands, which they can infuse gas chakra quantities within to formulate explosive smoke.

This can range from solid to a gas like state of the smoke with it, still exhibiting that mixed chakra formulation. Users can then produce or manipulate an existing amount of smoke, shaping it into various things such as grass, hoses, boat, rabbits, and dolls. They can change the size, color, toxic properties, and gas-scent depending on the amount of the smoke used to make the created objects seem more realistic.

Users can even change it's consistency to the point to making them solid and unbreakable-alike creations that can be brought to life and controlled remotely. With a mental command, they can detonate the katon chakra (gas) ninjutsu within the smoke, by performing the seal of confrontation. The technique varies in strength, depending on how much chakra is put into the creation of this "living" or not smoke objects. Despite all this, it’s still prominently based on smoke based jutsu, which can only be defused by a Suiton Ninjutsu.

This ninjutsu can be used alongside existing smoke ninjutsu, and or gas-related fire style jutsu/ninjutsu. Therefore depending on that jutsu, they’ll stream their chakra into that jutsu formulating that very jutsu to become a “Deep purple” art style ninjutsu release, within the same timeframe.

Note: Can only be used by Smoke bios. Cannot be used Smoke Ninjutsu of S-rank or more.
Note: This smoke ninjutsu is scorching, if trapped within its gas mist as it's capable of scorching the skin off.
Note: User can only create up to three creations from this jutsu, per every other turn. If S-class is used, they can’t use this ninjutsu for 4 turns. This jutsu damage depends on the jutsu Type, and only when Offensive/Defensive style is used, the jutsu will correspond to chakra cost as the regular damage ratio.

Ken would continue towards his intended objective he was sure he wasn’t the only one headed towards this mysterious tower, yet he had a feeling that despite this something interesting was awaiting him. The timid boy couldn’t resist the urge to find out what it was.

As Nacht headed to this market place he realized that shawty stood him up. “FUCCCK!” Oh well. He continued on his quest. He took out the piece of paper asking somebody for directions.

“uhh... you said your name was Nacht... can you read?” The man said hesitantly. “Yeah mate. Why?” Nacht responded. “This... it says east... you are far from where you should be.”

Nacht quickly took the paper. “EAST?! Damnnn I thought it said WEAST! Like a southern accent for west.” Nacht responded. The random guy looked at Nacht like he was an idiot.

“Well if you want some action. Word around the world is a dimension opened up not too far from here. Something that could decide the fate of the world or some shit. Go there if you seek power” the guy said as he walked away.

Nacht took the coordinates and began his voyage.. he wasn’t interested in saving a world that was so ugly.

There market place was alive with sounds. At first it came across as excitement, but I soon realized it was dread. I soon learned that the gate to the underworld had been discovered in the Badlands of Earth. The Sandaime Tsumikage, whoever that was, requested reinforcements to march into the underworld to put a stop to the undead. I knew that this fight would be tough, but I had no choice but to go now that the undead were found on the western continent.

Coming from Noodle Panhandle [x]

The forest turned into fields, which then turned into roads and then a sprawling mismatch chaos of a city. The giant buildings reminded Isabella of Amegakure, where the greatest event of her life took place. At least the good one. She walked inside the city with the black macaw following closely, like a threatening dog, though the size of a bull.

Most people stared, though many minded their own business, filled to the brim with poverty, alcohol or whatever drug they consumed or were starved of. She followed the mumbling citizens to a great plaza where the Ninja World Marketplace was. It was composed of a great number of buildings, their purpose loss on Isabella.

She had two missions, deliver the bounty, and retrieve information. And so, she went in.

Coming from here [x]

Mission start:

  • Trail and make contact with a powerful individual (4)

Yasha landed exactly where she needed to be: a nice little market place. Although very far from her new home, it would have to make do. It was rather populated, and the people were very kind. Smiling at Yasha as she smiled back. However, her byakugan picked up on a powerful body of chakra. One well above the ordinary. This piqued Yasha's interest as the chakra signature was the strongest she has ever come across since being here. So, she followed. After all, what is the worst that could happen?..
