it is useless cause it is a hell of a gamble, it was successful cause of sasuke and itachi being edo. If it was not for sasuke then this right here would be kabuto's victory

the cost of this technique is so high no wonder itachi flat out said it can't really be used in a battle cause in the heat of battle you can never be sure that it will work on the opponent or even if you will be able to form a loop

This thread is entirely wishful thinking, its dissapointing to see the amount who believe it.

seeing that its for izanagi and kabuto doesnt have that tech, it directly shows how u can choose it what way to use the technique. He chooses their destiny and your forced to accept it. The missunderstandings of this jutsu not surprisingly mostly uchiha haters anyway.

I would put Izanami are pretty much useless in certain situations. Like 10% usefully. The biggest flaw with the ability is unless you know something about the person the ability is completely useless.

without MS itachi can still handle some high jounin, like asuma,kurenai,aoba,genma, and some akatsuki member like hidan and young deidara

Without MS, I don't believe he can handle asuma, hidan, or deidara at all. Only time he's actually done anything is with the MS.

I think that this technique would be fairly impossible to pull off against a powerhouse opponent, unless your an Edo. Creating exactly the same situation to loop the jutsu is really hard, hell itachi had to die twice for it to work

Kabuto joined as sasori's spy, but not even sasori knew of the link between oro and kabuto. Actually ive come to the concluion that the izanami is actually a very effective jutsu against strong/er opponents and this is why. Basically its most effective against arrogant opponent and usually arrogant opponents are powerful, perhaps even more powerful than itachi himself. So whilst he might not have what it takes to beat more power arrogant opponents with his other op jutsu's, with izanami he could

No. The only opponents it can work against are those who deny who they really are, so this assessment of yours is not factual.

Apart from the real Madara Uchiha who is the epitome of arrogance and possibly the 4th Raikage, i can't really see anyone else trapped in this loop and unable to escape.
