Itachi vs Jiraiya?? Jiraiya fans plz answer

you guys still dont get it itachi LIED then when he said he could not beat jiraiya. he didnt wanna capture naruto so what is the point of him battling jiraiya. itachi just scared kisame that he could not beat jiraiya and kisame fell for the lie and they ran away. itachi was just playing the part in capturing naruto and he only went to the leaf then to warn danzo and the elders he was still alive and dont touch sasuke. if itachi and jiraiya fought then it would of been pointless.

Look, we get it just fine go to all the previous posts i have made then you might learn why jiraiya is more likely to win IF they fought. Sure itachi beat oro but oro was overconfident and incredibly sloppy. In an all out fight, jiraiya would NEVER be like that he'd break tsukyomi with ma nd pa, dodge ametarasu, then seal or tire itachi's susanoo. BIGGEST POINT : Unlike the 9 tails, susanoo does NOT give chakra to its user, rather it ABSORBS it, making it INCREDIBLY tough to maintain.......

but if itachi and jiraiya did fight then itachi would win by a mile. guys face it itachi would of won then with a incredibly strong ninjutsu called amaretsu. jiraiya with all his experience did not know the existance of amaretsu then and thats saying something. itachi wins and jiraiya falls to itachi feet with amaretsu. itachi in killer mode can beat anyone except madara. but itachi did have the potential to beat madara thats why madara feard him. but itachi got ill and knew he would not beat him

can't YOU get it in YOUR head( you probably can, but in your brain....that's another story) that kisame thought the SAME DAMN THING when they eventually ran from jiraiya so how the f'ck does it matter...??!!Itachi's position would have been exactly the same in front of kisame if he had run right there and then.....and i doubt kisame would know jack about who is easy and who isn't....itachi could easily have covered up having a history with konoha etc.

Manga does not state that Orochimaru > Jiraya get your facts straight it states that Jiraya was unable to convince Oro of coming back or catching him alive

Jiraya in Sagemode would have fought differently at the chuunin exam Perhaps he would not have been killed by Oro

@ kam when did itachi become full of lies? Who did he lie to and when. Itachi although very popular hasn't really had as much face time as some of the other characters, and when he was shown he was droping hints or going after tailed beasts. The fact that he talked little and was rarely shown adds to his mystery. full of lies though? How about some examples?

Itachi didn't wanna catch naruto that is true but he didn't wanna fight Jiraya for the reason he mentioned perhaps he knew that samehada could not absorb sage chakra thus eliminating kisame

Now take in to consideration how long Jiraiya took to seal amaterasu. You think he'll be able to do that in a battle. Tsukuyomi will send J man to the hospital. Itachi defeated Orochimaru with ease what makes you think he won't do the same to Jiraiya?

@kam. dude you seem to reading a different manga. with all the power that itachi had, he lacked stamina. and that is the most important thing he needs considering the type of jutsu's he uses. jiraiya on the other hand, have 5/5 stamina and with sage mode his stamina is increased considerably. now why is sasuke considered more powerful over itachi and shows more astute when it comes to using the sharingan and it's abilities?, it's because sasuke has more stamina than itachi. now consider itachi fighting jiraiya in sage mode. he is too fast to be caught by amaterasu as sasuke was ablew to dodge it with his whimsy speed. now when it comes to susano'o he will just tire itachi out. he has a lot of experience much more than itachi could possibly know. and he can seal amatersu for christ's sake. ma and pa toag can offer him immunity to genjutsu. now what is left?, total pawnge by jiraiya. lol..
