Well he did kill Danzo who let the village get destroyed by Pain and he helped end Edo Tensei.

He didnt do any of those for the village one was for personal malice and the second was Itachi said ill answer your questions if you help me

Provide proof of this nonsense.

He said in chapter 628 that he allowed Danzo to take care of the shady side of things. And it was clearly seen that Itachi talked to Hiruzen before leaving the village, asking him to take care of Sasuke. It's pretty obvious that he knew what Itachi had done.

Order ROOT to help defend the village and not kill the toad who was leaving to call Naruto back?

Point. The flawed train of thought remains tho. Danzo died because he was trash, not battling Pain was just minor comparing to all the crap he pulled over the years.

This is very true.

So Sasuke had a personal motive for doing those things but you can't deny that he helped the Leaf Village in a way.

He killed the Sixth Hokage Candidate... It's the equivalent of killing the President.

Taking care of the dark matters and ordering the massacre of the Uchiha are different. He tried to foster peace thru negotiation, Danzo did what he did behind Hiruzen's back.

Btw, not chapter 628.

It's not off-topic. It's called a comparison. People use it when making points. Don't be upset because there are a lot of people who agree with Sasuke through sheer ignorance. Hashirama wanted nothing but peace and strived for it. Madara did what he did of his on volition. Also, the 3rd and 4th's hands are clean of all this as far as I'm concerned.

lol, haha, i'm not even slightly upset..

1. your comparison is totally off topic and has no "comparison" whatsoever with this thread. Because, again, it has to do with the individual's state of mind and environment! <---
2. I "agree" with Sasuke because of the fact he's self-assured to never make the mistakes the previous hokage's have made.
3. that doesn't mean he blames all the hokage's, only partially --> 4th is to be left out of this..

But what if that President was involved in some very despicable things like brain-washing children to be emotionless soilders and acted against his country while commiting genocide?

not really the kages were going to either execute him or send him straight to prison

He attacked Danzo, not the other way around. And yes, of course they were going to put him in prison. He was a member of Akatsuki who was believed to have killed the Raikage's brother.

It would still be a crime. One I'd approve of, but a crime nonetheless.

And, it's about perception. I don't think it's wrong that he killed Danzo. But the thing is, the people don't know that Danzo pushed for the Uchiha Clan Massacre or any of the other shit he did. Far as they know, Sasuke killed their leader.

That's what impeachment is for...but I don't know if Konoha has that sort of setup.

In all honesty, killing Danzo was, in D&D terms, a Neutral act at best for the selfish reasons. Where it crosses the line into Evil is nearly killing his teammate...because she was in the way.

Of course it does, look at Madara's and Obito's state of minds... Both were naturally raving psychotics deep down. Also, he can be self assured to not make mistakes, but the fact is: he has no room to talk. Naruto is the only one who can boast this.
He wasn't specific, so unless he specifies, he is blaming them all.

So, you think that Itachi would have been able to carry out the Uchiha Clan Massacre without the approval of Hiruzen?

Yes, it was 627. Sorry, a typo.

Danzo pushed for the Massacre, like I said. Hiruzen gave the nod when his negotiations failed. So, yes, he tried to do it another way, but when negotiations failed he just went ahead and had them all killed. Dafuq?

The only one who can assign missions is the Hokage. Hiruzen gave Itachi the mission of massacring the Uchihas. Itachi reported to him that he had completed the mission successfully, requested him to take care of his brother, then left.

Agreed. I guess that's Kishi's way of foreshadowing the whole Naruto fighting and Saving Sasuke thing.

He isn't naïve, he's thinking clearly and I like his logic. The Hokage's actions did cause most of this stuff to happen.. He simply does not want the same mistakes to happen again.

He's using his head.

Right, well maybe you could say "Danzo", then? The one they fought was Sasuke, not Danzo. It was logical to assume that you were talking about Sasuke.

And, no, I'm afraid it doesn't work like that. You can't just arbitrarily execute the leader of another country. You need to get their permission first, otherwise it's seen as an act of war.

The Raikage himself said that he expected Konoha to strip Danzo of his candidacy. There was no mention of imprisonment or execution.

He's using his head.

If he becomes Hokage and rules over people who utterly despise him and flat out don't trust him, then he will never be able to change anything.

He's not using logic. He has shown yet again that he is nothing but a lost puppy chasing its tail until the next big dog shows up and tells him what to do.

Seems to run in the family, but that's not what we're discussing here.
