You are not technically wrong, but Raikiri is a more powerful version of Kakashi's Chidori.

Chidori is listed as an A-rank jutsu.

Raikiri is listed as an S-rank jutsu.

Except chakra control =/= a break out of Tsukuyomi.

Like somebody mentioned before, a second in Real world can be a week in Tsukuyomi. Tsunade gets caught and she's finished.

Tsukiyomi causes mental strain. People with a high fortitude can resist or even break it.

Kakashi resisted it, which was met by some surprise.

Sasuke broke it with his intense resolve to kill Itachi, this is especially noteworthy since Itachi said that the Sharingan can't help.

Tsunade also has to make direct eye contact, and Madara couldn't succeed in putting her in an illusion.

Urm, Read the manga over again.. Itachi said with Sharingan, You might be able to RESIST it a little.. but cannot break it... since kakashi doesn't have uchiha blood... Sasuke broke it because he has both sharingan and uchiha blood...


Kakashi did not actually resist it , his life was SPARED.... backed up with his comment on why Itachi didn't just killed him, and once again backed up in the 2nd databook, in which Itachi is described and listed as a merciful person
