Yeah i'm kinda iffy on that one, Kabuto could probably dodge it once or twice but if he assaults him with it then he might catch him.

Besides, Sasuke caught Kabuto with one of his arrows and it was prep. Itachi can slash the shit of out Kabuto in one second. Didn't you remember how easy Orochimaru was caught by Itachi?

As of yet we haven't seen Totsuka hit anyone that wasn't already stationary and with restricted movement. I am of the opinion that Amaterasu arrow is faster then Totsuka's swing since it didn't show any particular speed feats against Orochimaru's hydra technique.

Of course it didn't. Hydra technique won't save Kabuto. Heck, Orochimaru was surprised it was the Sword of Totsuka. I bet Kabuto wouldn't even be phased by the weapon. He then will realize it was a sealing sword that will entrap him inside a eternal world of genjutsu. Inside a little cave i see Kabuto getting hit by Itachi. Now if we talk in a long field, Itachi might not be able to hit him so easily. That cave was small do you think Kabuto can survive that long without getting hit once? Orochimaru was stationary, but the sword can change it's size proportions it's like Sasuke's Chidori Sharp Spear-- it can stretch itself. Did you saw how Danzo got hit instant by the Chidori Sharp Spear. Orochimaru was hit the same way it was instant.

I seriously don't understand how people can say that a non-edo itachi can beat Kabuto in a 1v1 fight. Kabuto is basically custom built to beat Itachi. Look at it this way.

Amaterasu? Kabuto uses oral rebirth and continues on

Fire/ Water release? Fire release is countered by kabuto's own water release, whilst the water release Itachi has shown don't really pose any real threat due to Kabuto's dodging capabilities.

Tsukuyomi/ Genjutsu? Completely useless because kabuto closes his eyes.

Sword of Totsuka? Sage mode sensing/dodging renders this useless. If he dodged amaterasu arrow he is dodging the sword. It is a manga fact that totsuka has never hit a moving target, only stationary people. Even on the off chance he does get hit, he can liquify thanks to suigetsu's DNA.

Susanoo? Kabuto has at least 4 counters. White rage to make Itachi drop it and be paralysed. Sound genjutsu from Tayaya, which he can't get out of without assistance. Bone forest from Kimi or Inorganic transmutation can be used to erupt underneat susano'o, piercing Itachi.

Izanami? Itachi literally said it himself that Izanami can't be used in battle situations. The only reason Itachi pulled it off was because he was Edo, and even then he died twice to set it off.

So quite obviously, Kabuto takes this. Kabuto counters anything itachi has, he is faster than itachi, he is much stronger than itachi, his attacks can easily overcome susano'o. He can easily makes amaterasu and genjutsu useless and is superior in taijutsu thanks to suigetsu's liquefaction techniques. His stamina is unlimited thanks to sage mode whilst Itachi has stamina problems. I haven't even mentioned Kabuto's summons since he doesn't really need them.

He is ahead in ninjutsu, taijutsu, even genjutsu (since Itachi's are useless), speed, strength and stamina all by a good margin in this match, and is either higher or equal in intellect. Itachi loses in a proper fight every time. Also if someone seriously says "Itachi wasn't trying to kill Kabuto" think about this - Kabuto was also not aiming to kill since he had to make sure not to kill Sasuke.

If you somehow think different explain properly, no fanboy crap.

Agree, but Nagato was immobile so the victory was kind of cheap in other words. He wouldn't solo Nagato by himself. I can't see the odds on his favor in this type of fight.

I always believed Itachi's win against Nagato was legit, I don't understand why people take it away from him (same goes for Kabuto). I know Nagato was disadvantaged slightly because he couldnt move but Itachi owned him no difficulty. If Nagato could move I believe it can go either way because Itachi just has to seal him to win, or Tsukuyomi. And when people argue that bee and Naruto were there is stupid because they both got captured.

@Bold- Because Nagato was not the one fighting. It was Kabuto who was controlling his body, so the one who failed was Kabuto, not Nagato
- Itachi was in a 3vs1. Without Naruto or Bee, he would not have been able to destroy Chibaku Tensei

First off, Amaterasu isnt as instant as most ppl make it seem or want to believe! Every time that it has been shown in the manga Itachi And sasuke both have been shown to: 1. Close the eye FIRST, 2. Bleed from the eye second. This sequence of events is too long for any powerful shinobi let alone a super sensor fear!

It takes awhile and happens after the eye bleeds, And gives off "pressure". Kabuto knows of this jutsu and the gap in which it takes to preform is too big.

He can and will sense the tech and prepare for a counter! Or...???

2. He could simply use the tech that sasuke used. Amaratsu doesnt burn fast (fact), so its plenty of time to use the tech (like sasuke did)

Kabuto has the best evasive feats so far in the series he has been shown to dodge susanoo arrow no diff. So from that we can say he could dodge a giant sword heading twords him which is slower and from what we have seen only seals when it pierces the target.

You are just another hater who cant deal with the fact that Kabuto shits on Itachi if it where a death match.
