Its not a fake interview. Its a shonen jump convention 2008 i believe. After Itachi had died. Kishi said that minato and the third were the the two strongest ninja (Dead) but that they were more powerfully ninjas alive but he won't get into it right now.
Ok there have been alot of debates on the topic of who can take out Minato....of course you've got your Itachi FB's and your sasuke FB's...but now that you've finally seen Minato in action; FTG ,his base speed, and on the fly battle tactics would anyone would like to change sides and bow down to Yondaime Hokage....yes im saying Minato>Itachi
First i did'nt read any comment here but u say now that finally we seen Minato in action,we saw it on manga too it does'nt matter that it showed minato a badass on anime its still the same that was writen on manga, and i still have my reason's why Itachi>Minato and about minato's speed he already puted all the mark's and kunai's on the place's he teleported.
DIdnt say he had tsukuyomi active nor did i say he can use amaterasu and tsukuyomi at the same time. All im saying is that if the fight starts and minato fights as normal and keep eye contact, then we all know what happens.
If he tries gai's counter. He doenst look at itachi's eyes and i need not tell you that you cannot evade something you cannot see; amaterasu.
This off course if minato bypasses a genjutsu duel (oro, deidora, naruto, sasuke)
Minato had a contract with toads, an dis a genius soooo I think its not too far to suggest he could get into sage mode making genjutsu a less than definite tool to defeat him with! :flaw:
when he reached naruto before tobi in the air. And when he teleported behind tobi and rasenganes his back (all that in mid air, without footing).
You know, tobi have reflex good enough to go intangible against A's full charge v2, so Minato had really short time to do that.
Those are speed feats without (directly) using FTG.
And, in my own case, proof enough that he was called "the yellow flash" by his speed, not by FTG.

Character Use: Yondaime Hokage
Rank: S
Range: Close (0m ~ 5m), Mid (5m ~ 10m), Far (10m+)
Type: Supplementary
Hiraishin no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique utilized by the Fourth Hokage. The technique gave Yondaime his nickname "Konoha's Yellow Flash," due to his bright yellow hair and his ability to traverse great distances in the blink of an eye. A space-time jutsu like Kuchiyose, Yondaime first needs to mark his destination with a shiki (rite) first, he can then activate the jutsu to come to the mark. He can apply this to a weapon such as a kunai, and when thrown or used, he can instantly travel to it. He can also apply the mark to a touched area, such as his opponent or some other surrounding feature. No matter where the opponent goes, Yondaime can travel to the mark to kill them.

Anyways the interview is extremely likely a fake. This rumour, which suddenly became popular around May 2008, was claimed to have been published in March 2008 Jump Festa, while a lot more claim it was March 2008 Shounen Jump.
Raw scans of all other Kishi's interviews are readily available except for this one. In fact only one translation of it, which doesn't even reference an authentic original Japanese text, exists. This simply means there is no original Japanese text out there, else there will be varying translations of it.
Finally the 3rd databook, which was released 6 months after the alleged date of this interview, made no mention of such fact.
In fact, this is the post (April 02, 2008) that popularized this rumour:

And this is now currently the post (July 16, 2009) that gets referenced the most for this interview:

Above all, I'm proud to finally proclaim that I've found the original source of this mess. It was faked and published by Jonas from narutofan.com forum. The web page has been taken down, but one of the earliest repost (March 29, 2008) of it in another forum (less than two weeks after the original post with reference to the original post) is here:

read the whole thread and you will realize just how fake the original source is.
I can't see a thing. Either way, if you read post #57 including the links in it, you will realize several individuals debunked this interview just weeks after it was originally posted up.

Anyways, this is the original raw scan of the fake interview.

The bad thing is that the original creator said it came from March issue of Shonen Jump while his fake essay says Weekly Jump on the heading. Interviews rarely go on Weekly Jump, but not impossible. He probably realized this after he was already done knocking up his fake essay, hence in order to deal with that "little" discrepancy, he declared it was from the March issue of Shonen Jump. That is either referring to the tankobon of Weekly Jump or the Monthly Shonen Jump, which by then had already been renamed Jump Sqaure. Too many things just doesn't add up at with this interview's heading. The Weekly Jump on the heading completely killed it. Also if you check out all the forums that disseminated this fake interview shortly after it was published, you will find out that the general consensus is that it's affirmatively fake.
Below are a list of a few threads that publicized this interview in it's early days:
March 2008:
You must be registered for see links
!!! Even a member who had the March issue of Shonen Jump was confused that he/she didn't see the interview. And you must remember this interview suddenly appeared about a week before April Fool's Day.
June 2008:
You must be registered for see links
Here it was once again asserted to have been an April Fool by several members.
March 2008:
You must be registered for see links
Here it was generally agreed to be fake as it simply didn't look like something from Shonen Jump.
June 2008:
You must be registered for see links
Here, again, it was generally agreed to be fake
The list can go on for a whole page. And all this are threads that carried this interview in the first 4 months of it's appearance,
Besides, the 3rd Databook was released 6 months after this interview, yet it failed to mention this very critical information.
This guy here speaks the truth,he states the obvious bust still a thread was made nevertheless. What does the anime change from the manga? Have we seen new stuff that we didn't see in the manga?
If the answers to those questions are positive then this thread had a meaning,if not then it was just a waste of Database space.
Its not a fact that Minato knows sage mode so we cant say that.....but the point in the thread is not to state the obvious but when in the anime you can see ftg in full motion and also so of its abilities are a little more evident....you cnt see how fast someone is moving by flipping a page
Ok how is Itachi stronger than tobi....plz i wanna hear this......bcause if you were to match those two up itachi loses everytime....he cnt tsukiyomi him...how can he use amaterasu on someone who can become intangible let alone seal him...itachi is sucked into another dimension within 5 moves
lol wat u mean he cant use tsukiyomi on him lol itachi genjutsu is on another level he can amateratsu him as shown when sasuke did it out his eyes...itachi plans to good to lose to someone with just 3tome sharingan lol .....beat itachi in 5 moves hahahahhahahahahahhahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhaahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahhahahah u must dont kno who itachi is then do u?
Itachi is just a little bit slower than Minato, Tobi even comments on Itachi's speed. He says that Itachi moves so fast that it looks like he is Teleporting. Itachi also have far more Jutsu power than Minato has. Then again, Minatos speed and fast thinking combined with his Sealing Jutsus is amazing. But Itachi still holds the best sealing jutsu, defence, offence,Ninjutsu,Genjutsu and Taijutsu.
I feel some hipocrisy on, don't know if it's your case, how some people dispatch inmediately any narutopedia/and-alike source of information because fans write it, but when it ground his own argues they're facts...
FTG didn't left a yellow trace or anything like that, just a *puff*.
Also, tell me a single time in the MANGA where it's stated that the "yellow flash" nickname was consequence of FTG.
Give it, and I'll accept that i'm wrong, otherwise don't come like that (without arguments).
