Ok there have been alot of debates on the topic of who can take out Minato....of course you've got your Itachi FB's and your sasuke FB's...but now that you've finally seen Minato in action; FTG ,his base speed, and on the fly battle tactics would anyone would like to change sides and bow down to Yondaime Hokage....yes im saying Minato>Itachi

um i've always thought minato was awesome so yea, i think the only one's that stand a chance against minato are his family members, and clearly not tobi.

Peope won't change dude xd

Personally I like a multitude of characters (including Itachi and Minato) and I accept that a battle between two characters could go many different ways depending on terrain, intent, status of the character, etc :)

Only Naruto's speed can match or outlast Minato's.

Im not saying that it would be a cake walk by any means to make it simple after actually seeing the moves we debate about over these vs threads im a little more inclined to say minato takes itachi med-high difficulty... with more confidence

Hello Blaze i would love to have your opinion on this...seeing as of all Itachi fanboys you are the only one who has legitimate arguments...

Well sure - I think given the right conditions Minato could beat Itachi.

There are others like Owarij and Digitalmonster, but thats beside the point.
Anyway we already saw what happened in the manga and there are some scenes in the anime that didnt take place. Nevertheless i still have my arguments for saying itachi> minato.

Enlighten me!!!! because the only way i see him defeating minato is to seal him but i just dont see that happening...due to the fact the only way to slow him down is for him to run out of chakra......granted there were times in this fight that if tobi were itachi...Minato wouldve been caught in tsukiyomi

Um I was making legitimate Itachi arguments months before Blaze was even a member.

I am an Itachi and Minato fan.

Enlighten you?, go my threads and youd see one which includes him and itachi.
Not sure why minato fans have started to crawl from the shadows again with the latest anime release. We already saw what happened in the manga U_U

Ok fair enough xd. Well I don't want to start a huge vs. thread battle like what always happens but I think that Itachi wins if he catches Minato in a genjutsu. If he can't or doesn't do it then Minato will win a ninjutsu and taijutsu battle.

The reason being is that all of Itachi's attacks are too slow to hit Minato.

Amaterasu was dodged by A at point blank range easily and Minato dodged A, so logically he can dodge Amaterasu.

As for the Totsuka sword I know that is too slow to hit Minato with.

What I think would happen though is if Itachi were fully ready for a fight with Minato he would use genjutsu off the bat and then seal him or use Amaterasu to kill him, anything else gives Minato a chance to survive it depending on how quickly he can break the genjutsu and use FTG.

We never went anywhere...it seems the only time anyone has sum to say in one of these types of threads is when one side is bashing the other i just want to have a friendly debate
