A Retake on Minato

It would be impossible for Itachi if he was fighting Minato directly. But if he used Genjutsu in order to create himself an opening he would have a fair chance. After all, Minato wouldnt be able to dodge Totsuuka if he didnt even know that its goint to impale him.

its ironic how u say "after we have seen minato in action". well what about itachi? now if they were both in their primes itachi has koto amatsukami. Minato goes down from the very first second the battle starts. In all honesty u say now that we have seen minato when u should also be saying now that we have seen itachi. Dont tell me "its not itachis sharingan" the eyes were given to him by shisui. Its like obitos sharingan on kakashi. Itachi had the koto amatsukami ready and well in his possesion the entire anime. in all honesty it isnt really needed. Minato exhibited that he has no clue whatsoever how to fight a uchiha. he put his face right in front of tobi's face and looked tobi straight in the eyes. Had that been itachi the fight would have ended right then and there. And FYI u say "minato wont look at itachis eyes" well lets forget what minato did against tobi. Minato died when itachi was 5 years old. Minato has no idea who itachi is. If they were both to meet each other Minato would have to LOOK AT ITACHIS EYES in order to know he is fighting a uchiha. how else do u suggest minato would know he is up against a uchiha? Itachi on the other hand has full knowledge on minato. He knows about minato to the point where he knew about Naruto being the son of Minato Namikaze...... He was in the Anbu and was obviously taught info on all konohas jutsu and has knowledge about them upon seeing them..... The uchiha abilities however are a secret. The amaterasu technique and tsukuyomi techniques werent even known to exist until itachi started exhibiting them. Raikage knew about the amaterasu because itachi had already used amaterasu when he invaded the cloud village. In all honesty minatos chances of winning against itachi are the chances of shikamaru beating naruto in battle

FYI itachi is also a 5/5 in speed without his sharingan present. minato wont completely overload itachi in running speed believe me. Killer bee was capable of countering minato's FTG. are u saying itachi who has exhibited he is faster than bee wont be able to counter the FTG with his sharingan present.... tobi's running speed isnt as fast as itachis running speed. hell tobi is actually really slow when not teleporting. which is how minato got him. oh and fyi itachis reaction time was fast enough to block lightning. So believe me when i say itachi will open susanoo fast enough to block any attack minato does

Do you not get the fact everything takes time, nothing is instant, it can be fast but it still takes TIME. Minato is known to move a SHIT load faster than Itachi can raise a finger + mold chakra at the same time, or did you forget the basics of Naruto? Every jutsu requires chakra molding. SOOO lets say Itachi takes 2 seconds to raise a hand and mold chakra to cast genjutsu, in this time Minato has seen Itachi moving and reacted in the milliseconds that reaction occurs and he then "flashes" (for lack of a better word) to a seal, in this time moved out of Itachi's vision = no genjutsu/amaterasu, there was a reason his speed was regarded as his greatest asset.

If they were in their primes(this is already a fantasy situation) who says itachi would have shisui's eye...if minato didnt die and itachi grew up naruto would have shisui's eye...and how do you know tobi didnt try to put minato under genjutsu if he's an uchiha who are supposedly the best at genjutsu why would by pass his easiest route to defeat minato and return to kyuubi's side....also if the fight takes place after the tobi fight which it would have to im pretty sure minato would go on the offensive immediately to take out itachi....and if itachi knows about the 4ths capabilities im sure he would immediately use susanoo and not tsukiyomi considering the fact that if he has full knowledge of minato's abilities he knows what happens as soon as minato touches him....as much of a tactile shinobi as itachi is he would be more concerned about being marked than genjutsu...you see the problem with your theory is the reason tobi had so much face time with minato is because he also had s/t enabling him to sneak up on the 4th...no way would itachi get around the anbu guards silently and occupy the same space as the 4th without him being aware of his presence...also he wouldnt have to look at itachi to know who he is...if itachi grew up to face the 4th wouldnt everyone still know who itachi is meaning so would the 4th.....im dealing with an Einstein here

People seam to forget an important fact clarified by the anime that is the ftg technique requires chakra of equal volume to move whatever requires moving meaning minato most have bijiu size chakra as well but I do not believe that speed determines strength other wise gai,lee,a would be the strongest characters but they re not though minato is smart anyway does not matter anyway but itachi definitely should have being the fifth hokage then uchihas would not need to revolt instead they wait looking for another capable senju and people expect them to take it lying down hell no, infact I say death to konoha

We don't know that much about minato yet. But still he is unhuman fast. And with the combination of the fastest jutsu ever ( flying thunder god jutsu ) and the best reflexes ever and a deadly base speed, there are not that many that can beat him, even though we don't know much, that's what is incrediple about minato.

Minato could of killed Tobi, he can kill Itachi too. Simple as that.
