Minato's fighting style often excluded time consuming hand seals that give enemies an opening so he mainly relies on his two original techniques: the Flying Thunder God Technique and the Rasengan. he has more moves that just 2 lol. we dont know what they are but bein the 4th he had to know alot lol. so when we start finding out more of them his chances increase lol. so ya itachi and minato both have chances to win but considering what we know about minato he has chances to win and what we dont know im sure gives him a big chance to win lol

Itachi vs Minato...
I would say Minato but It could go one way or the other. Itachi ultimate weapon, susanoo, would not work against Minato because it has a weak point at his back.
Minato ultimate strength is being able to exploit every weakness with his speed, no matter how small. I doubt that is the only thing he can do. Can he for example go into sage mode? So far he only needs two moves to take out enemies because it works so well.
Itachi is still not to be underastemated, he has far more then Susanoo. He has black flames, and Tsukuyomi, powerful genjustus and is frightenly strong, most likely the strongest of the akatsuki and might have been able to take out Raikage more often then Rakigae would be able to take out itachi.
If Minato is able to get his knives or markings into blind spots, then he will control the battle. If not, then Itachi will might win.
Minato most fearsome technigue is not really being able to teleport himself, but to be able to teleport any object.
Any powerful technigue like amaterasu could be teleported away.
If Itachi strikes Minato with susanoo with the sword of Totsuga, then Minato could teleport the attacker in area where he has his markings on all critical locations.
Itachi could use Tsukuyomi to gain advantage, but that would strain his eyes and is easy for Minato to avoid with use of clones(and without).

Stop making things up.Tobi never said anything of the sorts.And if you think Itachi holds the best Sealing Jutsu, Defence(Sic), Offence(Sic), Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu, then you really have been sucking on the Itachi hype C**k too long.

are u guys telling me itachi wil sucessfully destroy a village protectd by minato or even av d guts 2 invade such village. Minato is d damn kage of konoha for God sake, someone gud enough 2 retire sarutobi

Do you not get the fact everything takes time, nothing is instant, it can be fast but it still takes TIME. Minato is known to move a SHIT load faster than Itachi can raise a finger + mold chakra at the same time, or did you forget the basics of Naruto? Every jutsu requires chakra molding. SOOO lets say Itachi takes 2 seconds to raise a hand and mold chakra to cast genjutsu, in this time Minato has seen Itachi moving and reacted in the milliseconds that reaction occurs and he then "flashes" (for lack of a better word) to a seal, in this time moved out of Itachi's vision = no genjutsu/amaterasu, there was a reason his speed was regarded as his greatest asset.

sorry minato fb but if you have any idea what itachi has in his arsenal then maybe you would see tings a little clearly as long as suusano is up minato can't touch him if itachi touches him in the slightest with his ethereal blade its over so ummm yeah

susanoo will drain itachi's sick ass chakra leaving him completely vulnerable thats if he doesnt get marked by minato before he even tries to use it...susanoo is super slow how would he hit the fastest shinobi ever with the tsokuta blade....holla at me when you get your training wheels off

oh ok tell me sumthin lol....the point im making is the argument that itachi will seal minato with totsuka blade is pointless because it very improbable borderline impossible
It would be impossible for Itachi if he was fighting Minato directly. But if he used Genjutsu in order to create himself an opening he would have a fair chance. After all, Minato wouldnt be able to dodge Totsuuka if he didnt even know that its goint to impale him.
