The bolded is a terrible argument. Konan is a mediocre ninja. Jiraiya beat her in under a minute, easily, and she had info on his abilities because he trained her! Jiraiya in sage mode would have the ability to sense danger, as well as sense chakra, and thus sneaking up on him would be a no go.

That is a pretty good team. I will give you a +rep for that one. Hashirama might be interchangeable with Gaara if you wanted though. Just changing sand for wood, which has more versatility but can still trap people easily.
