He was speaking the truth of the moment. They were useless at the time. That simple. And read the beginning of chapter 693, he wanted to eliminate the Biju and Naruto withheld their power.I like Sasuke's power and I like his personality/ambitions at different points of the series. Specifically:
I like hebi Sasuke, revolution/"I'm going to become hokage" Sasuke, and post-VOTE 2 Sasuke in terms of personality/ambitions.
I dislike part 1 Sasuke because of his arrogance and attitude. He was almost as annoying as Sakura. I also dislike a few aspects of war arc Sasuke (during the battles with juubi/Obito/Madara/Kaguya/ just before VOTE 2) despite liking that Sasuke overall. Specifically, I disliked how he needlessly trash talked Kakashi and Sakura to no gain or purpose. Furthermore, I hated how his reason for wanting to kill Naruto was because Naruto was the closest thing to his friend. To me, that is just too symbolic of a reason to kill someone. It would be better in my opinion if he said that his reason was the fact that Naruto was the only person who could stop him and his revolution.
Getting rid of Naruto because he would interfere with his plans was obvious. At the end of chapter 692 he noted that with Obito, Madara, and Kaguya gone, Naruto was the only one in his way.
What about Hebi?I didn’t like Emo Sasuke.
Chuunin Exam Sasuke & The Last-Boruto Sasuke is goat
Maybe he was predictable because his path was foreshadowed?I didn't really like him, he was cliché, predictable, a hypocrite and so whiny it just became boring
Orochimaru: someday he will come to me for power.
Later Sasuke geos to Orochimaru for power.
You: So predictable.
How was he whiny when the only times he ever spoke about his problems was when other people confronted him?
How was he a hypocrite?
Used to be my fav. He was just that awesome up to the chuunin exams.. But then he practically lost to Gaara and got extremely jealous of Naruto. His mental/emotional state was just all about and kept flip flopping all the way to the end of the series. I get that he's an avenger and all but i've also watched shows that have characters with better mindsets as avengers (Mahiro from Tempest comes to mind)
I don't dislike/like him however.. He's just there for me.
"Flip flopping", "bi-polar", it's called development. Everything isn't a straight line, there's twist and turns. Especially when you're dealing with conflicting truths that are the polar opposite of what you thought. One of my least favorite characters, mainly because he was bipolar as hell and most of the series revolved around him. I do kind of like him as an adult though.
Because he's cool, smart, badass, strong, has great abilities, skills, battles, backstory, and goals.Exactly.
Lmao, stop lying to yourself. Sasuke≠best character. It's beyond me how someone can find his character likable.
That's like saying nothing would change if Naruto was removed and you could easily replace him if you replace him with a character just like him. Which is redundant.Completely untrue. Nothing much would change if you removed him from the story. He's easily replaceable.
If you're going to troll then alright, the cool genuis Sasuke is way better than the gay stalker Naruto. Not even remotely close. Naruto is leagues upon leagues more likable than an Emo edge lord such as Sasuke.
In additional to having great abilities, skills, and battles, Sasuke's character & development is solid.Still wouldn't be enough to get him close to that. :lol
Give me a break. Sasuke is even shittier. Naruto already knew what a Shinobi was, while Sasuke literally had to get Oro to revive the Hokages in order to figure it out.
Not to mention he can't seem to hold on to a single goal. The guy changed what he wanted to accomplish multiple times.
Sasuke's story is of a Shinobi who decended into the darkness & eventually rose to the light. Overcoming his desire for revenge and his family's curse of hatred. Becoming one of the greatest protectors of not only Konoha, but the world. Supporting from the shadows like a true Shinobi.

Greatness.
Ever since the massacre he wanted to avenge his family by killing the one who murdered them. His older brother Itachi. When he found out the truth, that Itachi did so on behalf of Konoha, his vengeance directed toward the village.
During the war he unexpectedly came across Itachi & saw that he had no remorse nor ill-will toward Konoha, so he wondered why? What is a Village? What is a Shinobi? Why are they so important that Itachi would betray their family to protect Konoha as it's loyal Shinobi? He decided to speak with the Hokages so he could gain answers to the questions he had.
From doing so, rather than destroy the village, he decided to change the corrupt Shinobi System which led to things such as the Uchiha massacre, & multiple world wars. To protect from the shadows like a true Shinobi. He's been doing so ever since.
Kill Itachi. Destroy Konoha. Protect from the shadows. Infact, killing Itachi and destroying Konoha were apart of one goal - to avenge his clan. So his goal only changed once in 700 chapters.
Naruto's take on a Shinobi was much different from Sasuke's, Itachi, Danzo's etc. When did Naruto EVER speak of working from the shadows. Having to commit dirty deeds to protect the village?Naruto already knew what a Shinobi was, while Sasuke literally had to get Oro to revive the Hokages in order to figure it out.
Also, when did Naruto ever have hatred instilled into him by a family member for years who acted as a villian, then find out that he wasn't really a bad guy but instead had to commit atrocities for the village. The very same village he is expected to protect aswell. Ofcourse Sasuke would seek to speak with the leaders of said village to gain a better understanding of things.
Naruto never had anything to challenge his beliefs as a Shinobi.
It's almost as if he was faced with truths that were the polar opposite of what he believed. As if someone lied to him and he found out the truth. Not to mention he can't seem to hold on to a single goal. The guy changed what he wanted to accomplish multiple times.
