Edit: And before you try to say he absorbed the sand on his left hand with Preta as well, no it was the recoil of Rasenshuriken that did that. Madara even says: "Too much energy." in regards to the wind technique.

Further proving this, is the smoking of his hand.

This is further further proved, by the lighting in both pages I linked. The lighting shows that Rasenshuriken detonated, giving off a minor brunt of energy instead of the full explosion.

Your trying to deny the obvious here. Gaara sands is controlled via chakra if we remove chakra from the equation then the sand falls down. Samehada has the ability to suck up chakra nothing stops it from sucking the chakra out of the same upon contact which means Gaara can't use his sand crush or kill Kisame.

No where in that scan does it say Sand can't be absorbed. It says if you don't like the sand just stop absorbing the jutsu. Plus there was so many factors being used in that scan so trying to base everything off the sand is completely bias.

EDIT- Im not saying solid sand can be absorbed im saying the chakra inside the sand can be absorbed.

Understand the situation and the text. Mei was saying if Madara wanted to counter the sand, then he would have to cancel Preta Path that was being used to absorb the Raiton/Suiton combo. However, if Madara stopped using Preta Path in order to counter the sand, he would get hit by the combo and immobilized. The Gokage devised a plan specifically to counter Preta Path.

That scan doesn't prove anything. Notice how Gaara wasn't shown to be shocked and stating anything about Madara absorbing his sand. He could of simply just let go of Madara as the FRS hit. So that isn't factual evidence, my scan is.

So if we look at the magnet release wouldnt there need to be some form of external chakra in the air for Gaara to move sand. Not in the sand but around to sand to take control, some form of chakra that substitutes a force so the sand can be magnetically pulled?
