no he didn't. we're talking about the power ups. to get MS all sasuke had to do was get his ass handed to him by itachi and then cry after being told a story. to get EMS all he had to do was spam his MS for a full day because without it he'd be nothing at the kage summit and then go blind and have obito give him itachis eyes. to get PS he had to have naruto give him some kyuubi chakra and he was never shown using ps till he got some kyuubi in him. to get rennigan he had to get killed and given powers by a time traveling soul and thats it i think.

naruto on the other hand trained for sage mode trained for kcm and for bm it took him beating up kurama during his kcm training and then gaining extra trust points to achieve so yes he did train for bm. bsm was also gained though training although not for that specific thing it was the combination of all his training that led to him finding out he could mix em up. rikudo mode is his only free powerup

True. Who knows if one can train in that category itself because it is an eye technique. His Rinnegan genjutsu makes up for his lack in skill there anyway.

I never realized it until now but neither got more than the other. Practically the same amount of benefits from their power ups :yeah:

Naruto :

SM = enhanced body, sensing, frog kata (3 power ups)
KCM = enhanced body, chakra cloak, sensing (3 power ups)
BM = bijuudama, bijuu cloak (2 power ups)
BSM = nothing new, just more power (1 power up)
RSM = enhanced BSM, 9 KKG elements, 7 elements, TSB (4 power ups)

Total of 13 power ups

Sasuke :

MS = enhanced Sharingan jutsu, Amaterasu, Kagutsuchi (3 power ups)
Susanoo = 3 power ups for 3 versions
EMS = enhanced MS (1 power up)
Rinnegan = enhanced EMS, 6paths, sensing, outer path, gedo mazo, 7 elements, S/t jutsu (7 power ups)

Total of 14 power ups

In part 2 both their powers grew at the same rate.. Kishi made it look like one was ahead of the other until their deaths

Except Madara Uchiha who is stronger than Sasuke and achieved MS and EMS never showed any innate ability to have Tsukuyomi, Amateraus, nor Kagutsuchi. Just Susano'o. Meaning it was given to Sauske, frOM Itachi. Manga facts, or nah?

Only summons, not Snake SM.
Naruto had frog summons too, but he got Toad SM

Snakes could have taught him SSM. maybe him using their own kind as a bomb shelter made them not want to. Either way he didn't learn it.

@Bold I. What..? Sasuke learned Amaterasu from Itachi, Kagutsuchi he learned on the spot by trying to save Karin, and Susano'o he tested out when he unlocked it. None of these which he ACTUALLY spent training for. For example - Sage Mode.

@Bolded II. Yet Sasuke used no Rinnegan abilities during their fights. He 'automatically' learned it, much like Naruto's flying. Though that is not a point, I just wnated to point it out. It was definitely a plot hole because Sasuke did not even try, it was just stated that he 'did'. Same for Naruto's plot flying. Just Kishimoto did not have the time I guess.
