Why do people think that Sasuke had more power up than Naruto??

True. It really doesn't matter how they acquired their power ups. Both Naruto and Sasuke have been handed power. But it's just silly how people think because the power was given that one or the other didn't train to learn how to use it.

You can be given all the power in the world but it doesn't amount to much if you don't know how to control it and use it.

Sasuke's training didn't come through mentorship but through life experience and combat.

Naruto's came through the relationships he forged through his mentors as well as actual combat.

Both trained extremely hard to matster what was gifted/given to them. Can we all at least agree on that?

He's probably just not talented enough to use it. Sasuke was never good in Genjutsu like Itachi until he received the Rinnega. It was stated that his Genjutsu is below Itachi's by a statement from Danzo. Though we can't deny manga facts

Itachi is ultimately the reason he unlocked Susano'o too. Sasuke stated Susano'o is the power when one unlocks all 2 (or 3) mangekyo abilities. Which Itachi planted the way when he gave Sasuke Amaterasu.

I agree. I always though all MS user had, at least, the potential to use Tsukyomi but either just don't use it or haven't learned to unlock it yet.

Which goes right back into training. I assume you need to train to unlock and develop the abilities of MS EMS

Naruto has large amounts of chakra.

But Kishi was more interested in pitting the eyes VS the Body and not a Sage fight so call it plot if you will

That would be like counting all of the benefits of Naruto's modes each as a power up

I never realized it until now but neither got more than the other. Practically the same amount of benefits from their power ups :yeah:

Naruto :

SM = enhanced body, sensing, frog kata (3 power ups)
KCM = enhanced body, chakra cloak, sensing (3 power ups)
BM = bijuudama, bijuu cloak (2 power ups)
BSM = nothing new, just more power (1 power up)
RSM = enhanced BSM, 9 KKG elements, 7 elements, TSB (4 power ups)

Total of 13 power ups

Sasuke :

MS = enhanced Sharingan jutsu, Amaterasu, Kagutsuchi (3 power ups)
Susanoo = 3 power ups for 3 versions
EMS = enhanced MS (1 power up)
Rinnegan = enhanced EMS, 6paths, sensing, outer path, gedo mazo, 7 elements, S/t jutsu (7 power ups)

Total of 14 power ups

In part 2 both their powers grew at the same rate.. Kishi made it look like one was ahead of the other until their deaths

I will give u rep for this post. U r right The who got what by what means is just a way for members to perpetuate hate against another character. Even if u strip Naruto and Sasuke down to be without power ups they r still exceptional shinobi and that is because of their skills that they have polished which allowed them to use those power ups so well.

Sasuke still had enough to master sage mode... Orochimaru did it to great extent so why not Sasuke?
