Why do people think that Sasuke had more power up than Naruto??

Your getting off topic of your own thread yo. Your original point was why do people think Sasuke had more powerups than Naruto. So why are we debating the quality of their training?

So what if Rikudou Sennin gave them free powers? The Child of Prohpecy it is a title for two people who, when they joined sides, were destined to bring peace to the world. Mind you, both Nagato and Minato were 'chosen' too. There are countless child of prohpecies in reality.

That does not automatically grant him mastery over every single thing he tries in, in fact Naruto fails countless times. We see even see this in his KCM form when he tries to replicate the TBB in his base KCM form, which fails time and time again.

Sasuke, the Indra genius counterpart, got everything handed down to him. MS > EMS requires little no training at all. Which balances the Ashura/Indra sections of genius/failure who works hard

All an uchiha has to do is get their feelings hurt and they pretty much turn kage level. All it took for Sasuke to get to kage level was crying after his brother died and then a quick eye surgery. He had pretty much all his main techniques handed to him within a span of a few seconds. Naruto took way more work to get accustomed to his abilities considering the fox wanted him dead at first.

Sasuke is already Kage level.
He kept training three years with Orochimaru while Naruto is doing nothing with Jiraiya.

MS only ruined Sasuke's style.

And actually Sasuke has to train to evolve his Susano'o and MS in real fights during Kage Summit.

At the beginning of Kage Arc against Raikage. Sasuke only Had Susanoo rib cages.
At the end of the Arc Sasuke dominate the Complete Susano'o but when he finally dominate his MS he is blinded

He is the son of the Hokage, his mother is from a powerful special clan, and he inherited all their powers.
Thanks to the Uzumaki's lineage Naruto has a lot chakra to support his trainings and the Kyuubi.

Kakashi himself said Naruto only learned FRS because he has enormous chakra.



Let’s not forget the Kyuubi.
He received this because he was the son of the Yondaime.
Minato never would give the Kyuubi to a random person.

Despite this he still received a major power up with RSM from the Sage without any work.

I agree with you here. The whole hard work theme went right out the window when we learned of all the pre-existing blood lineage Naruto possessed to begin with. Kishi messed up his own theme there.

I think the pinicle of the Hard Work theme only happened in 2 instances:

When he learned Sage Mode
And when he fought and beat Kurama for KCM

but everything else yeah.....

Half of the credit for taming it goes to Kushina too.Also point he had the powerup from the beginning in the first place,justs didnt know how to use it..And Sasuke acutally had to defeat his brother to get the EMS

Kishi pretty much made their power scale in the same ballpark. If one needed a power up or two more than the other, fine.

So sharingan is gifted by birth. Kyubi no so much

The power was basically tied to his emotions and the angrier he got the more developed his susanoo became. Training had nothing to do with it.

Yeah MS is the true power of an Uchiha . They gain power in exchange lose part of their sanity. In other words they were born with that potential. Sasuke had to fight Itachi before he died.... How is that not considered work? :|

I see what you are saying but keep in mind the theme:

Sasuke is the natrually talented one like Indra. So his training mostly came actual battle

Naruto was the "Loser" who, through compassion and comradery, gained equal amount of power.

Neither one is better or worse than the other. Just 2 different ways of learning. It's like those people who can learn something from just reading about it while others need hands on lesson to learn.

again true but not entirely. While yes MS you risk going blind after extensive and repeated use. Sage Mode comes with it's risk as well. Naruto still runs the risk of turning into a Frog Statue if he does not maintain a precise balance Nature chakra and his own.

So no he doesn't just get to use Sage mode for free. Sasuke's EMS however erases all of the MS weaknesses much Like there is no repercussion for Naruto KCM

I think Kishi was careful in this aspect to make sure the powerups of the rivals didn't eclipse one or the other.

Kushina helped him FOR KCM.


Without Kushina Naruto never would "defeated" Kurama at this time.


Minato put Kushina's chakra inside Naruto especially to help him to dominate the Kyuubi.
