Why do people think that Sasuke had more power up than Naruto??

Having the Nine-Tails at birth isn't necessarily not being given a power up, but for the better part of his life it was actually a huge risk considering if it broke free, Naruto essentially didn't exist anymore. It wasn't until the last part of the series that Naruto actually gained Kurama's cooperation and was able to use it freely.

Sage Mode wasn't given to him, he trained for it if I remember correctly. So I would wonder, how exactly is it a power up? He risked turning into a toad. Bijuu Sage Mode falls here as well, as he can't use it without using a skill that he had to train for.

At the worst, Sasuke had to worry about being blind, which isn't QUITE as bad as becoming a stone toad or losing yourself to a tailed beast considering the only thing he had to do was transplant his brothers eyes....

Oh wait, Obito saved him there. Did the transplant himself. No worries guys! While Minato gave his son an extremely dangerous power up that if Naruto failed to control, he died, Sasuke would just be the Stevie Wonder of the Naruto world.

sort of right and sort of wrong. Yes the Uzumaki blood allowed Naruto to be able to contain the Kyuubi chakra, but he wasn't given BM he had to 1st beat Kurama then earn his trust to do it.

Also Jiraya, minato, and Kabuto also have Sage mode and they are not Uzumaki as well. Large chakra pools are what you need to become a sage it's not exclusive to the Uzumaki clan.

And Orochimaru gave Sasuke Curse Mark (Sasuke didn't train for it he was bitten) Itachi orchestrated the fight so that Sasuke would win and awaken MS, and Obito gave Sasuke Itachi's eyes.

You're right some what. Naruto didn't get any power ups from his genes. Sasuke always had the potential to get Ems, while Naruto didn't with Uzumaki genes. True, he has large chakra, but so does Tsunade and sakura. We know how far beneath Naruto they are. One more thing is that he wasn't a full Uzumaki, hence not being able to move like kushina did. Naruto was able to handle kurama while he was a toddler, while Minato was getting numb feelings.

Naruto's genes didn't nearly help him out as much as Sasuke's did.

All an uchiha has to do is get their feelings hurt and they pretty much turn kage level. All it took for Sasuke to get to kage level was crying after his brother died and then a quick eye surgery. He had pretty much all his main techniques handed to him within a span of a few seconds. Naruto took way more work to get accustomed to his abilities considering the fox wanted him dead at first.

It’s truly disappointing to see that the message Kishi is portraying is that the "loser" is actually the reincarnation of the Sage’s younger son.

He is the son of the Hokage, his mother is from a powerful special clan, and he inherited all their powers.
Thanks to the Uzumaki's lineage Naruto has a lot chakra to support his trainings and the Kyuubi.

Kakashi himself said Naruto only learned FRS because he has enormous chakra.



Let’s not forget the Kyuubi.
He received this because he was the son of the Yondaime.
Minato never would give the Kyuubi to a random person.

All that training naruto done in part 2 was trainings he could've done over those 3 years. You know it!

Guess how Ashura got his powers? By training hard. That's the rule for getting Ashura's power. Hardwork gives you Ashura's power. However it's given that Naruto was already a reincarnation of Ashura, but would his powers blossomed if he sat on his ass and didn't train? Hell no.

Kurama saw how determined and hardworking Naruto is. That's why he agreed to cooperate with him, giving him the BM

Sasuke on the other hand was training from part 1 until he awakened MS. He was handed the EMS and rinnegan just because he was born with the right genes.

Dont get me wrong, I like Sasuke a lot, but he trained a fraction of the times Naruto did for his powers.
