i dont see why they were so scared of a few revolutionaries. surely one clan vs hundreds of thousands of ninja is a stomp. not a civil war.

same reason why big countries worry about terrorist that are probably just a couple thousand of people....Because they can cause mass havoc even in defeat

They definitely were against the village but only after being imprisoned and used.
-They make them leader of police force only to spy on them.
-Put them at the edge of the village to secluded them
-2nd hokage never liked them
-Danzo never liked them
-put harashima on the mountain but not madara who co-founded the village



.......i could keep going leaf village caused to rebellion on themselves.
- Tobirama did like them.. simply was more cautious
- Hashirama was loved even by the Uchiha. It was the Uchiha who picked Hashirama over Madara.. because Hashirama cared about everyone..

@Bold, can you show me where they state they were against the village?

Honestly, at first I thought it was the Uchiha who were in the wrong because that's what I feel Kishi wanted to portray, but the more you actually think about it the more they seem to be doing the right thing.

Still, a complete take over of the village is what they wanted to do. At least that's what I've got from it. In that sense they were wrong because of the masses that would be killed. IMO it's kind of hard to actually blame one particular side, I feel that both had some fault.

-his brother likes the uchiha but, his political actions muddles that point. Hes the one who built the village pretty much. Tobimaru was cold towards them and if i remember correctly he regretted that when sasuke and orochimaru edo'd
him.

- i cant show it explicitly, its more through context of reading the manga. That and the fact that naruto has maybe 30 chapters when they explicitly talk about the uchiha massacre/ village issues.

Hiruzen a weak leader? You're right. The longest reigning and most beloved Hokage was weak.
Danzō a traitor? Got that part mixed up with that idiot Fusaku or whatever his name was.
Either way, I think I'll go with the judgement of the 2 wisest Uchiha, and the most experienced Hokage and his advisors. Sorry.

thats Semantics since most revolutions in history are not peaceful.
Nagato village had revolutions also and see how that turned out.

- No it did not. His plans weren't followed = not his fault.. You can only blame Tobirama if Hiruzen had followed what he started, and then that led to the Uchiha revolution.


To Itachi his bro > everyone..... pretty selfish to me. No one in the manga is selfless, though Itachi is a loyal shinobi of the leaf.

And no Itachi had the choice to be killed with his entire clan... or save 1 Uchiha and help kill the clan. Logically i would try to save 1 uchiha also..

The Uchiha's weren't innocent in the incident, there were other ways to deal with the situation but they choose the way that would only lead to death on either side

^^^^ Uchiha had commit no crime or offense.

They were the police, the leaders were breaking the laws, they were going to enforce them on the leaders also.....

Nope its not...It is only a crime if the leaders aren't corrupted and are following the law themselves. When the government itself is allying with enemies of the village, and is plotting to take down the hokage himself (Something Uchiha weren't trying to do)... then no it is not a crime, but instead it is your right, in a democratic society, something that is the basis of Konoha.
