A nice technique which works on the same principle we discussed in the last couple of posts, it can be used when we are less on time as it has fast initiation. I would say it has no drawbacks as it is basically a defensive tech but if it were to push the enemy away or something like that it would have been nice, all in all there is not much to say except that it is a handy defensive techniqeue which can be used to deal with solid jutsus upto a specific rank.

(Ototon: Oto no Ken) - Sound Release: Sonic Fist

Description: The user gathers chakra either around their fist, arm, or leg and then charges towards their opponent. Upon utilizing an attack involving the aforementioned limb, it causes a release of sonic vibrations (of a low frequency but with a high amplitude) that act as a secondary strike, making the opponent unable to use the body part that has been hit for 1 turn. This happens because the sound vibrations damage soft tissue by resonating within the water molecules that reside within it. The effect is similar to a localized explosion upon contact that rips through the targeted area and creates a shockwave that blasts the target backwards. The skill is exceptionally useful if used against solid techniques such as those from Earth Release (or similar) which will shatter upon being hit.

This pretty much enhancing your taijutsu with sound chakra. Hitting your opponents limb, will cause them to not use it for a turn. This technique can also can be used against solid techniques.

The solid jutsu part is pretty similar to the last two techniques so nothing new to add there as the core principle is same but the taijutsu variation once again has a very good and nasty effects and it becomes ever better when we strike the opponent on some major body parts.

Chest- Respiration problem most likely will give a window to land a final blow.

Hand- Unable to use handseals and a great disadvantage at close range battle.

Leg- looses mobility/movements and a great disadvantage at close range battle.

Neck/Head- Well enhanced blows to this area will be quite fatal in many ways U__U


Once again it itself has no disadvantages but we all ways need to be aware at close range battles.

Description: The user gathers his sound chakra into his throat as he inhales afterwards exhaling as he screams, yells or roars. The resulting effect is a massive forward shockwave of low frequency, high amplitude sound that levels anything in its path. Despite weakening as it travels, its faster than most wind or lightning techniques and can still be defended from. If used within a water source it receives +20 damage.

Any form of loud noise that you can produce with your voice, will do. Releases a shockwave of sound. It gets weaker the further it travels. Extra damage if used in water.

A very basic technique in terms of usage and result, as you said we can use it via any loud noise and it carries a lot of potential too but the best part of this technique for me is that it does not require handseal and is used via are throat and this adds an element of surprise. Consider a scenario in which we are fighting at close range and I use this technique, now not only is it initiated really fast it also travels very fast and it is safe to say that at short range you will hardly have any time to avoid/react to it. Using it in water only adds to its speed (cless inter molecular space) and attacking power, only downside is that it looses power as it travels.

Description: The user charges Ototon chakra into his hands and snaps his fingers, triggering a genjutsu through the emission of high frequency sound waves. As he snaps, the sound is amplified, sounding as if it is directly by the enemy's ear. To them, it sounds as if something has just snapped in half. The user then manipulates the illusion to make it appear as if either a large branch has fallen from a tree or the ground under them has broken clean in half, causing the target to believe they are falling through the earth or have been struck with a large object, pushing them to the earth. The user has control over the illusion, being able to make it seem as if entire trees have been snapped in half, falling on the target or as if an earth structure has collapsed either above or beneath the opponent, etc. The illusion can be edited to fit the situation and even the sound can be slightly altered deepening on the object that is "snapped". Is more effective depending upon the terrain this is used in ( extremely effective in a forest, not effective in a desert ).

Now one of the few sound gens, you snap your fingers together. Which produce sound waves that will go directly into your targets ear. The gen will make them think something above or below them has snapped in half, causing panic. Above, a large tree branch or below the earth has broken clean under them, can be one of these two options, depending on how your explain it. Obviously this technique is only good depending on your terrain.

Okay there is not much to add as the description and your explanation pretty much explained the technique, now for me one of its biggest pro and con it same and that is triggering part which is done by the snapping of our fingers, now as soon as the snapping is done the genjutsu is cast which is a pro but the fact that a simple snap caused the earth to crack or cut of a branch is not quite believable and thus creates doubt and gives the opponent chance to deal with it, I will use it while shouting out wind release something something so as to make it appear as if wind has caused the cutting of branch and the fact that wind travels fast has cutting properties and is nearly invisible makes it kinda visible although there is still space for doubt and this does not work for the cracking of earth part. This techniques has the longest possible length and that for genjutsu is always a big pro, now I have already mentioned a con and other one is quite obvious one which is the terrain part.

The buzzing drowns any sound out, unless they are exceptionally loud (i.e. great explosions, one yelling directly into the target's ear, etc), making it very difficult for the target to hear incoming jutsus or attacks.
Note: Hearing impairment lasts 3 turns

This one pretty much impairs your targets hearing. How does it do that?

I guess it works by affecting the ear drum but don't know how exactly does it effect it, moving onto the evaluation of technique I would say it is a technique without any major drawback, it impairs are opponents hearing which is a very vital during a battle also the buzzing sound should irritate him a lot, it lasts a decent amount of time that being 3 turns and the long range is always a plus plus, I can see myself using this technique quite a lot in the battle arena.

Pretty much Echo Assault Skill just much shorter range, and an omnidirectional blast.

A really good technique in my opinion except for its range part, The fact that it is omnidirectional is really good so that we can use it to defend against a multi-directional attack, obviously of an adequate rank and nature. I would also love to use this technique when multiple enemy's are attacking me from different directions as such this technique has no drawback except for its range.

A slab of earth is coming directly towards you, while my clone is running in an arc shape on your left with a kunai ready to try and stab you.

Sanji was suddenly put to test by his sensei, Sanji notices a slab of earth approaching him and simultaneous hears footsteps from his left as he turns a little to catch a gaze of as to who is approaching him he notices your clone closing in from the left in an arc manner with a kunai in his hand, Sanji once again focuses on the slab while using his sense of hearing to aid him in knowing your clones location, as the clone is about to stab him and slab of earth is within his range Sanji gives out a loud omnidirectional sound, the sound brings the slab to a halt as it falls on the earth with cracks on his bode while the clone suffers a great damage and is pushed a couple of add meters backwards (he would most likely poof away), Sanji just to be sure rotates to his left while pulling out a kunai and aims it towards your clone's head and thanks to him being pushed backward it becomes rather hard for him to deal with it, Sanji then weaves a single handseal as he focuses upon you and release out a pressurized stream of water towards you...

A simple and effective technique, its range is a great addition and method of casting the genjutsu is also something new and unpredictable, if you used correctly and efficiently it can give a good window to follow up by using a quick attack. It also effects two of the major senses.

Its one of the few techniques with an 360 degree range but its range in terms of distance is a drawback but still I like the technique, it does not require handseal or any preparation and if we are in the epicenter of a multi-directional attack then it can be really useful.

A simple whistle and your opponent looses the sense of hearing for 3 turns and it has no counter ( a few CJ may help but can only prevent it from being cast but once casted you are doomed), Attack from the back, sky , below etc. and it becomes hard for your opponent to deal with it, it simply can be labeled as an OP technique U_U xD

Description: This is a much greater and focused version of the (Ototon: Hibiki Rendan no Jutsu) - Sound Release: Echo Assault Skill technique in which the user gathers his sound chakra into his throat as he inhales afterwards exhaling as he screams, yells or roars. The resulting effect is a massive forward shockwave of low frequency, high amplitude sound that levels anything in its path. Unlike its weaker technique, the massive power it carries makes it slightly slower, equal to an average equally ranked Raiton technique. Unlike the unfocused nature of its weaker version, its focused almost like a beam, affecting an area of 50º in front of the user. If used within a water source it receives +20 damage.

Same as the other one with a slight change, it's more like a beam and affecting 50 degrees in front of you. And it is slightly slower then a lighting technique. Compared to the other one where it is faster.

Nothing much to add really, it is just a stronger version of the previous technique, it is more focused then the previous one and thus more concentrated and strong, it is also a tad bit on the slower side for a sound technique, it also pretty much has the same advantages as the previous one, no handseal and all.

Description: The user gathers a large amount of sound chakra into both of his hands, creating a vibration field around them that resonates at different, yet low, frequencies. The user will then slam both hands together, forcing them to resonate with each other and explode. This creates a massive sound shockwave that pushes back anything in front of the user in a 160º radius.

Everything up to 160 degrees radius will be pushed back in front of you, by simply clapping your hands releasing a massive shockwave. Handy for those higher then B-rank techniques, so it can only push back A-rank and below. Again doesn't destroy them.

The mechanism of initiation is similar to its B rank core technique but the fact that it covers a wide are of 160 degrees in a big pro, it will push almost everything which comes in our peripheral vision (180 degrees), so its basically handy to deal with projectiles and attack approaching in an arc manner, its more powerful then the previous one and thus can overpower more stronger technique, like you said upto A rank in this case but it can only push them back but not destroy them, it is one of the fast initiating techniques which is always a big pro.

(Ototon: Jakkuhanma) - Sound Release: Jackhammer

Description: The user charges Ototon chakra into their feet as they run, releasing it as each foot hits the earth and makes sound. As each steps sound off, low frequency waves are released, each wave causing an immense vibration to propagate through the ground and into any enemy, making their bodies lose balance as the waves collide with the target repeatedly. As the waves continue to hit the target, the vibrations increase and cause internal pain, almost as if each wave is drilling into the target's body, causing the target to also become nauseous from the continuous waves. Despite its danger, the technique can easily be defended by simply severing ones contact with the ground.

Pretty much releasing sound as you run, or run on the spot. Every time your feet leave the ground they release sound hitting your intended target causing internal damage, and they get worse and worse as time goes by and as long as you are running.
