Tobi was probably more surprised that Kabuto found his DNA and was planning on using Madara against him. I don't think he was actually scared.

The explanations are still unexplained to us so until everything is explained(like Rin's death) you can say that. Also, pretend a friend of yours died like a hero only to have them alive without you knowing for a good 16 years xd

that's what I always wondered, why they just left obito's body under those rocks. And when they made that grave what did they put in it? Nothing, apparently. It just doesn't make sense to me.

don't think he is scared of Madara; he was probably scared of the possibility of fighting and edo controlled Madara. also, imo Obito was shocked because he was supposed to revive Madara via rinne tensei, what Kbuto did ruined their plans. furthermore, Obito was not so keen on the idea that Kabuto had discovered Madara's body. not many people knew where he was buried...

False. It is stated no where that you need senju DNA. Madara only got the senju DNA after Kabuto modified his body. We don't know how an Uchiha awakens the Rinnegan so stupid assumptions are best left alone.

Exactly OP, Obitio was given a second chance at life by Madara and was probaly promised the chance to become a powerful shinobi. Then afterwards he would have came back to Rin an show her how much stronger he became. But after Rin died, Obito became enraged, thanks to Madara, and decided to follow him on his plan.

This is similar to the whole Darth Vader story. The thirst to become powerful to save a loved one, only to become meaning less when that person is killed. Then becoming manipulated by the one teaching you and the becoming his pawn.

I wouldnt be surprised if Madara was somehow connected to Rin's death. Maybe he knew Obitio's love for her and used it for his own purpose.

This was explained already in the previous chapters. We are not babies, kishi doesn't need to connect the reasons for us. We have to be able to dig reasons ourselves. I already knew this was the main reason why obito would change his point of view about the world long before this chapter.

@Zato madara said he died after he awakened the rinnegan and he knows obito, but Nagato had the rinnegan in the second great war. So how can he have madara's eyes?

When you'ved lived almost a century, a decade is a short time.

Also, there can always be some translation error so exact wording shouldn't really factor in.

What we know is that Madara awakened the Rinnegan before his death.

It's not a stupid assumption it's the most logical one. We've got Madara having ems and senju dna before unlocking rinnengan, you? Having ems is most likely not enough to get to rinnengan. The sage split his power into two eyes and body the elders sons eyes do not look like rinnengan and are most likely the purest form of ems. So combining those two would unlock the sages power, rinnengan.

Obito may see the plan as an escape from hatred and suffering and bringing peace, but Madara sees it as a way to control the world. Notice how madara doesnt preach about the peace the plan will bring like Obito does.

LOL, right now Obito is badass his reason is lame but he is still badass I don't want that to change.

He is a epic villain and was one of the nicest guys in this manga which is what makes it so entertaining
