We don't know what Tobi's original plan was he modified it to fit Kabuto and his powers...Whose to say he didn't sync Sasuke to the Gedo Mazo like he told Zetsu he was going to do... At that time Sasuke wasn't strong enough in his opinion...Don't forget that he did have Hashirama in that tank that he showed Kabuto...Obito is rather clever IMO to just shake up the entire ninja world by using one name and look how he accumulated some of the strongest ninja's and put them into one organization and had them working for him... He's a mastermind for real

I doubt it..tobi seemed pretty confident with his plan he may had something else in store but didn't use it because of kabuto's new found help.

I think Tobi was too confident, and thought he could kill everyone just with weak Zetsus (dont forget that Kabuto gave powerup to zetsus)

9 Tails & 8 Tails were needed. Shinobi'd were not handing them over.

Nothing in the story could lead you to believe that Tobi was a manipulative liar aside from the 'i am madara' thing and that was only for shock value.

My point about troy was that something so simple could be the reason to set someone off. It's not much of a war its really just 3 people vs everyone. Obito madara zetsu(who has alot of himself)

Having exactly same voice, appearance and the MS ability as Obito does? And being affected with the white substance as well? No sence. That was Obito who's attacked Konoha, you're simply forgeting that he was already 15 years old by that time and that he's not actually defeated Minato, he ran away after being hardly injured. The only thing he's really done is using the Kyuubi.

The voice doesn't matter.

I believe that Madara is still alive and is using the reanimation jutsu on Obito! Because in the flashback of Obito during the Pain war, they clearly show that he dies! Somebody is definitely manipulating him!!! :flaw:

Exactly OP, Obitio was given a second chance at life by Madara and was probaly promised the chance to become a powerful shinobi. Then afterwards he would have came back to Rin an show her how much stronger he became. But after Rin died, Obito became enraged, thanks to Madara, and decided to follow him on his plan.

This is similar to the whole Darth Vader story. The thirst to become powerful to save a loved one, only to become meaning less when that person is killed. Then becoming manipulated by the one teaching you and the becoming his pawn.

I wouldnt be surprised if Madara was somehow connected to Rin's death. Maybe he knew Obitio's love for her and used it for his own purpose.

Oh ffs he didnt start the war coz of Rin, there are many factors why. First of all its one of the reason why he became the way he is, he isnt really evil like how Nagato wasnt evil. The war was started because all the bijuus are needed to fulfill the moons eye plan, all Obito wants is to end this reality of hate and constant war coz it was the reason why he nearly died and maybe how Rin died.

Besides Obito never wanted to start a war. He wanted to get the tailed demons and complete his mission without creating too much trouble. Pain died, Naruto got strong, Killer Bee got strong, 60 percent of akatsuki died. The sole reason for the war is so obito/tobi can get the 9 and 8 tailed demons faster and it was the only option left

Misconception about Tobi giving Nagato the Rinnegan.

There is a reason why Tobi sayed , that he gave nagato the Rinnegan.


Tobi and Madara had access to the Uchiha Tablet.


Tobi teached nagato how to use the Rinnegan to its full potential.

Before Nagato was using it randomly.

Nagato lacked the understanding about Rinnegan and its secrets and functions.


# You can have a sword , but that doesnt mean that you can use it # = same applies for Rinnegan.


Tobi gave Nagato the crucial information about the Rinnegan.
