The Five Hokages vs. Akatsuki

no one can defeat all 10 akatsuki fighting together.
Including Pain and tobi/Shisui/Izuna/Kagami, then this is how i think it goes.
sasori summons third kazekage and iron sand, and combines with deidara's bombs, to deal with tsunade quickly.
hidan and kakazu fight old man hiruzen, who just doesn't have the stamina to fight them. he tries to use death god early on and has the strength to seal hidan but dies himself.
hashirama's bijuu control is useless. so he has to rely on bringer of darkness and mokuton. both of which are useless vs tobi's rinnegan/sharingan and intangibility arsenal. hashirama gets crushed.
tobirama has his work cut out. he is the last one standing with minato by his side. he tries edo tensei and they buy him some time but the zombies are soul ripped by human path of pain or just sealed in iron sand.
sasori renders minato's kunais useless with iron sand. tobi moves in to take him on. minato's s/t barrier enables him to hold his own vs attacks but tobi and nagato figure it out.
itachi defeats tobirama who is pinned down despite his s/t ninjutsu. suiton is countered by kakazu's doton.
minato is all alone vs tobi, nagato, itachi, kisame and the rest. he gets raped.

I think we are talking about all of them in their prime, so young Hiruzen would have the stamina to layeth the smacketh down on Hidan and Kakuzu lol
Other than that I disagree with your thought that the Hokages can't take out any of them. I'm sorry but each of the Hokage could take out two of Akatsuki by themselves...But I do like your scenario, it does seem very plausible.
Akatsuki have numbers on this side. However, I think if the Five Hokage stay together and spam combo attacks, they could easily weed down the Akatsuki population. I had everyone dying except Hiruzen in my scenario.
Versus threads are all about your own personal opinions on who is stronger. It gets much more complicated when it is two on two, let alone 15 fighters lol

Hiruzen - The professor (knowing over 1000 jutsus - of which we have no IDEA what they may be)
Tsunade - BEST HEALER and MOST SKILLED AT TAIJUTSU
Hashirama - Incredible Stamina, and chakra - able to control opponents equivalent to that of the kyuubi (he did defeat madara with the kyuubi after all).
Tobirama - Faced 22 S LEVEL Shinobi's, incredible water manipulation, can use s/t jutsu AND edo-tensei
and Minato - able to take on a whole ARMY (ARMIES WOULD FLEE AT THE SIGHT OF KONOHA'S YELLOW FLASH).

the akatsuki are disposable.

i'd say hokage's
hashirama: seen in manga how ****ing pumped up madara (the real one) is and hashirama beat him (tho madara prolly didn't have the rinnegan at that time) he can prolly take some guys out. + Madara's rinnegan seems more powerfull than nagato's.
Tobirama: He's got impure world resurrection, tho not mastered, but might be enough to summon some quality dead minions
I'm not saying resurrecting kages since i don't know if that's harder or anything. He got space time jutsu, as said by minato and that's always nice . He got great water jutsu and maybe the most important, it's mentioned that he's a great tag team with his older brother
hiruzen: was said to be the strongest of all the shinobi in his prime, though many very strong opponents weren't there when he was at his prime. it's also said he was the strongest of the kage's during his time as hokage. He's well-versed in pretty much all types of fighting so i really wouldn't underestimate him. He'll prolly be able to add some twists to the match
Minato: We'll he's just awesome very fast and smart, as seen in his encouter with tobi when the nine-tailed fox attacked the village when naruto was born. He's also very good at sealing techniques, so hidan can be taken out pretty swiftly since he aint that smart . And again super space time jutsu, always seems like a handy thing xD
Tsunade: She's very good at beating someone up so that's ok, but i think her supreme healing abilities might just be what they need to keep them going .
my votes goes to the kage's most of the akatsuki die because of their pride and because they're overconfident, whilest the kage's are more timid ppl who well assess the situation.

Just no. You actually believe Tobi, Itachi and Nagato can take the 5 Hokages. Youre crazy. Theres a genjutsu called Bringer of Darkness (ever heard of it?!) that pretty much renders dojutsu useless. Kiss goodbye to Rinnegan/path shared vision and Itachi genjutsu.
5 Akatsuki may be a reasonable match, but the 5 Hokages, collectively, are one of the best 5 man cells in Naruto. It also helps that they trained with each other, making them well aware of each other's abilities and limitations. 5 Hokages anyday.
If it is the 5 Hokages against ALL of Akatsuki, then I would say Akatsuki win by sheer manpower.

The kage win low to mid difficulty. Hashirama is stronger than Madara who we all know could rape Akatsuki and to be honest if you dont see why they win then wow.
I see way too much OP on the akatsuki who have been beat by a handful of people.

The Five Hokages will defeat Akatsuki for sure assuming they're still all at their prime. Let's include Danzo too because he was technically selected to be a Hokage; the six of them will crush Akatsuki.
