The storytelling here was really well done and I appreciate that you're aiming at developing the depth of your biography through your missions, such as what abilities they end up getting. However, something I want to point out relating to missions is the focus on your storyboard element. In this particular mission, you spent a lot of time going through your bag and exemplifying the results of the injury you suffered, which was great for reading, but it didn't have a significant amount to do with "Recover from the battle" until the second-to-last paragraph where you finally found bandages, but then simply slapped them over the wound and moved on. In any rank of mission, the first and foremost focus should be on the storyboard element. Because looking for things to heal yourself is arguably part of the process of recovery, I'm giving this a pass without a fail, but in the future, please keep this in mind and be cautious not to leave your element too far out of focus as you're writing your mission. If you were to do a similar mission as this in the future, my recommendation would be to maybe expand upon what you do with the bandages after you find them. Do you take the time to examine your injury more, perhaps you utilize a fire technique to heat a kunai and cauterize the wound closed so you stop the bleeding and potentially eliminate whatever "infection" you might believe is festering in the wound. Little details like this can help draw out the depth and emphasis of your element and ultimately help minimize any risk of downgrading or failing of a mission.

While the criteria of the element chosen was covered, the overall pacing of this mission was quite narrow in all respects; from conflict introduction and exploration down to the conclusion. The conflict itself enters from the beginning as an extension from a previous mission, which in itself is fine, but the overall complexity of contesting with the "Boss Monster" accounted for maybe the first quarter of the mission, before you handedly took back control of the fight and proceeded to spend the rest of the mission soundly defeating the opponent, countering its attacks or avoiding them entirely with ease after one technique that granted you stat boosts, which carries the essence of more a "fight someone of comparable strength" which fits more of an A-rank mission.

Mission was downgraded to B-rank. The element was adequately covered in this mission, but to be clear, you not just handedly defeated your opposition throughout this mission, you practically steamrolled the majority of them with a single technique. Any damage you supposedly sustained was superficial, such as your arm that was removed was phantasmal in nature to begin with and despite describing it as being a "set back," did little to stunt the flow of your capabilities for the remainder of the mission. All and all, even A-rank missions require some degree of competition toward a successful outcome that resembles the essence of "fight someone of comparable strength" at the least, while S-ranks are naturally even higher difficulty than that in nature. In this case, they weren't even comparable strength; merely a large pack of them that you basically just blended up at the end in a massacre, which follows more the standards of a B-rank mission wherein you are showing off the strength of your bio.

Just as a friendly recommendation, in the future you might want to spend more time working through the process of exploration in your element. While you did what was technically required for the element itself, the overall attention and pacing of the writing throughout was rather minimalistic and lacked much depth. While C-ranks aren't necessarily expecting too great of detail, this was certainly pushing the limits of minimal, which isn't exactly great for any mission, but especially for missions that have fixed rank requirements in order to proceed like this one. If this were to get downgraded, you would have to repeat the mission before you could continue with the questline, which wouldn't be much fun. So better to take your time and make sure you cover it with a decent amount of time and attention to each step of the process next time.
