This has...what, exactly, to do with what I said?

Also, if you're gonna argue Itachi is gonna waste the majority of his chakra using amaterasu on some boss summons..you're gonna have a bad time.

I have no dog in this fight, but if that's the argument you want to stick with, it won't end well for Itachi. Nor would Itachi be dumb enough to do that.

You mentioned something about I just replied backs , I just don't see any of the toads being a threat to itachi except the elder toads.

0/10 trolling bro.

you say that because you like itachi. However, that does not change the fact that he admitted Jiraiya's superiority over him. and no, I don't believe in itachi's fans excuses like he was lying or any of that since the manga, anime, or the Databook never prove that he was lying in that statement.

I disagree with what Blaze Release said about the swamp. Jiraiya just had to make the swamp as big as the ceiling. It's not like he had more room, or rather, even a need to make it bigger than it already was...

You're right, good so far aaand you lost it. Based on nothing in your entire post will he be able to do that. It's called looking at where Itachi is about to land. It's not a very difficult concept to grasp, how else do you think he caught Human path?

So no, what you are implying will happen is not what happened in the manga, nor does it make any sense.

1. Itachi is on the ground.

2. Jiraiya starts to cast Yomi Numa.

3. Itachi sees the hand signs, knows what's coming, and is able to evade before it's used.

I've already provided speed feats for Itachi. You've done nothing but state that he gets caught because it appears nigh instantly, which is literally based on nothing but it catching a giant snake, and Human Path. Catching Human Path, and a giant snake, aren't feats that allow you to come in here and claim that Yomi Numa is going to catch Itachi, who is by far..faster than Human Path or the snake, and will know what Jiraiya is doing before he does it.

And magical sixth sense? That's straight up what you're acting like Itachi has. But I guess in order to pretend he has any chance of reacting, you'd have to resort to believing in something crazy like that. Yeah, because Itachi has shown the magical ability of being able to instantly break his momentum and appear in a different location.

Magical Sixth Sense? If that's what you want to call the Sharingan you can go ahead and call it that, won't change the facts.

-Saw Kabuto's Jutsu coming before it actually came.
-Was able to use that same jutsu BEFORE Kabuto had even finished casting his own jutsu.

Speed has little to do with it. Timing is the key. Timing is why he was able to do that. If you know something is coming before it actually comes, evading it is simple. And no, this shit is nothing like Sharingan Pre Cog nor is it even Sharingan's precognition function, so don't bother bringing flawed examples up again.

What in the hell are you talking about? If Itachi evades Yomi Numa, and lands in his position, Jiraiya has to make the seals for it again, and then the whole process is repeated. He won't need to break his momentum to evade when he would have landed by the time Jiraiya can cast a second Yomi Numa.

Your logic has gotten more ridiculous as time goes on but this proves you're being backed into a corner. It won't get there. Jiraiya uses Yomi Numa and then since you've given absolutely no speed feats from Itachi he has no way of reacting to it, he drowns instantly. Even if he can avoid it which you've given no support for other than lolol future seeing powers, then Itachi jumps. As he has no way to counteract gravity(unless he truly is that godlike in your eyes) and thus must eventually land, Jiraiya uses it again on the location he lands. RIP Itachi, simple
I've provided speed feats, and I've proven that he'll see it coming before it's used. More than enough that is needed to dodge it. All you've said is "Instant swamp GG" even though Yomi Numa has never shown to be instant, it's not cast instantly either (Giving opponents time to evade) and it's best feats are catching Human Path and a giant summoned snake.

This is entirely baseless. Literally a reworded "he can see the future process all information about what's happening and instantly react despite me giving no support whatsoever for his speed before Jiraiya moves his hands." If this isn't wanking I don't know what is...since when does Itachi get a free pass to defy logic and act in a match before the opponent is allowed to move?
Already replied to, and lol, read my posts before saying nonsense like the bold. Where did I say he'd move before Jiraiya would? I said he'd move before Yomi Numa is cast, not when it was cast, so why in the hell do you keep asking me to prove he can evade it? Your argument at this point is literally "Yomi Numa one shots, prove me wrong". Not much of an argument.

They both start at the same time as far as I'm aware, unless the OP added in a "Itachi gets a .5 second headstart to jump so that he can avoid a Yomi Numa on the ground" or "Itachi is now Onoki" stipulation recently. I was nice enough to not even talk about the scan you sent because it would have made your argument look worse. That was in Izanami actually, read the page before that and Kabuto knew from loop experience that Itachi was going to use a katon so he changed his mind accordingly. Seriously don't be so biased and look at that one panel, look at hte surrounding panels and context it isn't that hard, you keep messing up this way it tells me you don't have as good a grasp on the manga as you've claimed, definitely not enough to give decent support for Itachi(as therei sn't any because he clearly loses).
Just so you know for sure that you're wrong, as seen, as seen Kabuto even sees Itachi use the move and counter it with a suiton in the same exact situation. If what you said held any water(lolol) whatsoever then Itachi would always be 1 step ahead.

This is not a strawman, in fact your post claiming that's what I was doing was a strawman. Can Itachi see Jiraiya's handsign? Maybe, but this does not "prove" he has the reaction speed or movement speed to avoid the jutsu before he gets drowned.

Still singing the same old nonsensical song huh? There is no "avoiding the jutsu" there is only him evading when he sees Jiraiya making the hand signs. You don't have to evade something that isn't coming at you. Yomi Numa isn't even going to be used by the time Itachi has evaded, because Jiraiya will still be forming the hand signs for it. Just like Kabuto. He saw what jutsu Kabuto was going to use before he used it, via Hand Signs. Instead of copying it this time around, he evades Yomi Numa. I've already shown speed feats for Itachi (Better than that of Jiraiya's) and you've shown me nothing from Yomi Numa that'd lead me to believe it'll catch someone on his speed level. "Yomi Numa GG" isn't an argument. An argument usually has "evidence" supporting it. You've provided none, at all.

And even if he does he has to jump, then land(on ceiling, wall, floor, pipe). When that happens, which is inevitable he gets sunk again a la Human path.

He jumps, lands. Jiraiya tries to use it again, and then he evades, again.

Actually if you paid attention to your own scans that you posted, you would know that that didn't really happen, it happened in Kabuto's mind as I said above, and it wasn't sharingan precog but nice try intentionally lying.

Oh I know it was in Izanami, doesn't change anything as Izanami doesn't change the abilities or strengths of the people made up in the loop. If you want to try and invalidate that by crying "Not real" I suggest you get proof that Izanami would buff Itachi or nerf Kabuto in a way for that to be possible.

Actually yes he can, because as far as I know Itachi has never been able to fly in the manga, he's not Onoki and has to land eventually. Precisely what I'm saying, doesn't seem that logical when you put it like that huh? I might just use this own quote to counter your posts somewhere down the line. LOL you're right, guess he just gets sunk then gg glad you agree with me here. It is faulty logic. If you can see his handsigns with your eyes, your body still has to be fast enough to react. You haven't given any support that Itachi would be able to blink because Jiraiya forms them faster. He's not Mifune, you're avoiding the subject. Mainly because you can't counter it...but sure again giving you the benefit of the doubt here.
Yeah, to react to the hand signs, not the jutsu that is upcoming. If he can react to Jiraiya's making of the hand signs, he can evade, and there is literally no reason he can't. The rest is nonsense I've already replied to, or stuff you are clearly misinterpreting.

Again, you're doing a bad job proving to me that you have a good grasp on the manga. If you read you can see Sasuke turn around, if sharingan was as OP as you'd claim he would have been able to react with his precog but alas his body was too slow despite his eyes being fast enough.
1. Not the same thing as what I'm describing.

2. Sasuke has already shown to be able to react to Killer B's speed. [ ] [ ] So no, he didn't get hit because he was too slow to react. He got hit because he was taken by surprise, something that has no factor in this fight.

3. He thought B was down. Has nothing to do with him being unable to react because his "Sharingan failed him".

I only used that specific scan because it was the most flashy, because you clearly don't remember what happened well enough as it is if you're trying to call that out. In fact if you did comprehend the fight fully and were hiding that information it's proof you're denying facts and lying to yourself about who wins. If sharingan was as hax as you're treating it none of what you saw should have happened since Sasuke can see everything Bee's about to do long before he does it, but alas.
Except I never said that Sharingan sees everything someone's about to do before they do it, I said that he can see Jiraiya's jutsu coming before it actually happens. Once again, you are being a strawman in attempt to make your "argument" seem more valid than it really is. Jiraiya is making hand signs, thus the Sharingan will be able to see what's coming next. Nothing to do with B landing a surprise attack on Sasuke.

That's weird, for someone who claims to not be directly contradicting manga proof, it appeared and submerged the snake pretty instantly, and the very first thing that happened to Human Path when we sucked in that small swamp was his arms got pulled under and he struggled to move and was unable. I notice you're blatantly ignoring those scans that I posted again. [ ][ ]
Learn what submerged means buddy. If the snake was submerged, it'd be completely down under. I don't know about you, but Human Path and the snake are still visible, hence not being subdued. So no, that's not instant, at all.

Not only are you outright wrong as Itachi's arms will be but you're arguing on the false premise that using a katon magically hardens the mud even though nothing suggests it would work that way.

Human Path's arms were immobilized because it's arms were on the ground when Jiraiya turned it into the swamp and he was kneeling when he was caught. Unless Itachi becomes submerged enough to block his arm movements, you have no dice. And you've failed to show me proof that he'll be instantly submerged by the swamp.

Nothing except science. Unless you can show me why it'd be different from normal mud. Fire heats up mud, when mud becomes heated it hardens. That's a fact. Let's not try and deny it.

Regardless, this assumes Itachi will even survive long enough to use a katon, but you haven't given any evidence suggesting he can jump to avoid Yomi Numa and doesn't die instantly.

Except you've failed to do the following:

-Provide evidence as to why Yomi Numa will catch Itachi despite it's best feats being catching a snake and human path.
-Provide evidence as to why Yomi Numa will sink him completely in an instant, despite it not doing so to any of it's targets in the manga.

Hell, provide proof showing that Yomi Numa is instant like you claim it is.

The sheer fact he's far faster than any of it's canonical targets and the fact he'll see it coming is more than enough for him to evade it. Like I said, your argument is nothing but "Yomi Numa GG prove me wrong". Typing longer posts isn't going to make it seem any more logical.

What? Last I checked it's not Shinra Tensei, it doesn't instantly repel all of the swamp that he's trapped in. He still drowns. It won't free him it, only protects from things on the outside unless you have evidence for that of course. It's the same exact thing as Itachi being 100 ft underwater and using Susano'o, it doesn't do anything, it's not as godlike of a defence as you think. ? Based on what exactly will he be able to move inside?
1. He won't be submerged completely, so why in the hell are you even comparing this to an underwater scenario?

2. If he's not submerged completely, and the mud around him is hardened, Susanoo only needs to smash said mud and then Itachi is free.

Again based on what? It's not like Jiraiya needs to completely put him under since the instant Itachi's hands become restricted he becomes a sitting duck and loses, but even you admitted quote and I quote "obviously" to the idea of the DB saying its main intention is to fully submerge the opponent. This entire post has avoided giving any evidence for Itachi's speed, all you've said was "oh he can see Jiraiya make the handsigns, also *invalid Izanami scan*", so no, until you actually support it, he can't. lol, if he's buried in the swamp he's completely immobile this is common sense, so no he can't. Where is the evidence for this? Susano'o has never once displayed the ability to detach from Itachi unless you have a panel of it growing legs and standing up, then scooping Itachi out of the swamp and putting him back inside himself. But even that has tons of problems and it wouldn't even work. Anyway you know how Susano'o really works and the bottom is its weakness and is always exposed, so there you go irrelevant. According to the insane notion he can "break free" or perform a ninjutsu despite his arms being immobilized then he does.
It's intention being to full submerge the opponent=/=It doing so instantly=/=It doing so before Itachi can do something about it.

1. Yes, it has been shown to detach from Itachi. [ ]

2. It didn't mean it'd grab him and pull him up, poor wording. It'll simply break out. Doesn't help your case that Yomi Numa's best feat is immoblizing a giant fodder snake (The same kind KN0 Naruto was overpowering in Part 1) and Human Path, who is nowhere near as powerful as Susanoo, physically.

3. Susanoo bottom being exposed is irrelevant. Not gonna stop it from breaking out nor will it stop it from pulling Itachi out, nor will the swamp instantly sink it like you seem to believe, despite me not seeing evidence from you.

4. His arms won't be immobilzed though. Your evidence was a scan of Human Path's arms being immobilized...when Jiraiya used it on him, when his hands were on the ground.

Except you've given no real reason as to why it's invalid. I'll wait though, don't really expect anything from you though.

Are you literally delusional? The burden of proof is on you, I in fact I have given direct evidence that shows the activation of Yomi Numa being nigh instant, it's been on you this entire time to provide proof Itachi can react. Nothing supports he'll get caught? Nothing supports he won't, at least not yet because you've avoided supporting your claims this entire time. All you've been saying is "Itachi can see the future therefore his body mvoes fast enough to react" while constantly dodging and ignoring the scans I posted. They're pretty clear cut proof, reread my post again with a more open mind please, stop denying it.
Except you haven't. Anyone can give me a manga scan and say that said jutsu is nigh instant due to the fact the manga is stilled. I'll look at how it's caught, and a giant snake and Human Path aren't impressive. Especially when neither of them could even see it coming like Itachi could.

Scans? Nothing you've posted so far is clear cut proof of anything, only in your imaginary world where Jiraiya low diffs Itachi I guess.

Of course I know why you dodged pointing it out, since I understood what you meant perfectly and you're just wrong. But anyway, you were the one who wanted to stay on topic, so please support your claims, including ones attempting to call me out for something. If you feel I've misunderstood something don't say "lol clearly I'm so far above you dont understand what im saying, git gud kid", but point out what I misunderstood, that's your job as a debater if you really want to advance this argument.
I've supported my claims. I'm just waiting for you to get real evidence for Yomi Numa being instant.

An example is where I said you misunderstood what happened in the scans, instead of incorrectly saying "wow you misunderstood them completely bro reread it lel", the burden of proof lied with me to show you where you were wrong so I explained about how you wrongly read the Izanami scans, the scans of the clash between Sasuke and B, and the part where you avoided Human path being immobilized and arms being submerged unable to move, etc.

Except the Izanami scans weren't read wrongly, you are only trying to invalidate them based on....oh wait, nothing. Human Path was immobilized because it's arms were on the ground when the swamp was made. Only reason. So that's another thing you are wrong on, along with it being submerged.

This would be fine and dandy if the fight started 2 seconds in advance before Jiraiya was able to move. This isn't a water dragon jutsu that takes 40 handsigns, it's Yomi Numa and it can be done in 2. That means putting your hand in 1 position then moving it. Itachi won't be able to process that info then react in the time it takes to form, it's just common sense, don't be retarded. And if you're going to try to prove that wrong actually support it with Itachi's body speed this time.
Doesn't need to start 2 seconds in advance. If he sees Jiraiya making hand signs, he'll see what happens before that. Who gives a flying rat's ass if it's not a 40 hand sign jutus attack? Itachi and Kabuto was only 1-2 hand signs, yet Itachi still beat him, due to the Sharingan. Same exact thing happens here, except Itachi evades instead of copying Jiraiya's jutsu. "he can't do it because it's common sense" isn't any form of an argument or a counter argument.

Oh wow, nice counter argument. You are only making empty claims and asking me to prove them wrong. Like I said, in reality you have no argument.

He sees the future of Jiraiya using the moves? He can try to jump, but then Jiraiya's hands actually move and you've given no evidence Itachi will be fast enough to react to that very movement even if he can see it 2 seconds in advance.

You seem to be under the impression Itachi can see so far into the future that he'll be able to physically move his body long before Jiraiya gets a chance to actually move, but you're wrong. Because again, he doesn't have a headstart, the match starts at the exact same time and right when it starts is when Jiraiya moves his hands and Itachi apparently attempts to jump. It's only a factor of his eye abilities and sharingan users have been defeated in battle before, it's nowhere near as OP as you're claiming, it doesn't matter what future he sees he still has to move to react and you have not proven how he's going to be able to.

I only said that he'll move while Jiraiya is still making the hand signs, not long before Jiraiya has a chance to move. Once again, you are being a strawman and it's pretty pathetic at best.

So Itachi gets a free second before the match begins to read on exactly what handsign Jiraiya is going to make? It doesn't work like that buddy read the above paragraphs, and by the time Itachi sees future Jiraiya make the handsigns he'll have already made them then you're right, it is GG.
I suggest you read before you reply, cause I never said this.

Right, and then he's even further boxed in by the Susano'o which only reaches a couple meters radius at best that my reply was referring to.

Susanoo moves with him. How in the hell would he be boxed in by it?

You know Sasuke was with KB during their encounter, and Itachi was only fleeing(he's very good at that actually), right?

The same exact impact marks appear for Sasuke and Itachi during the sword dance, so no, Itachi was doing more than running away.

Plus Sasuke's lasted much longer and he showed himself actually deflecting some of his hits at least. Unfortunately Sasuke's objective was to capture him so it did entail entering a taijutu battle with him, Itachi never did that with Bee, Sasuke was still much faster comparatively. But I can see why you didn't post the panel of Sasuke doing it too, for good reason(if I was in denial I wouldn't post scans that prove my point wrong either).

Except I know that Sasuke did it, don't need to post the panel. Regardless of the bold, if they both achieved the same feat, that means Itachi is at least as fast as that version of Sasuke, who is still fast enough to evade the likes of V1 Killer B. Doesn't help that Sasuke was shown to stumble while Itachi didn't, not once. Yomi Numa isn't an issue.

And then there's him getting B's back despite being next to Nagato a second or two earlier.

This is possibly one of the most over exaggerated scans in the manga(you have to wonder how Itachi fans were even trying to back up his speed before this chapter came out). If you look closely he aimed for above, so of course he'd be surprised if he was expecting him to appear in front of them, but anyway let's go all the way back for part 1 for a counter to this. Characters have literally been moving in that fashion since the beginning of the manga, the speed feats displayed in Sasuke vs Haku even look better comparatively and don't even let me bring up Lee's.

Not even sure how this is a counter. That scan you posted doesn't change the fact that B couldn't react. Nothing you typed here changes that fact actually. If I was only comparing how he moved, you'd have a point, but B's reaction is my basis of comparison, so once again, no dice.

But anyway hey that's better than nothing so it's a start, still gonna have to do better than that though, once you prove Itachi's able to jump and doesn't get submerged instantly I'll start posting Itachi's running away speeds vs his actual combat speeds and post how Jiraiya's are far, far superior. That will be fun, once we reach that point that is. lol...the entire time from Sasuke starting to use and actually using Kirin had Itachi off panel, there's no evidence for or against this and I've heard it hundreds of times so nothing you try and say for it will be in your favor, you might as well not even try. Although if you want to go there, his mental speed isn't important as his body speed is, it doesn't matter how quickly he can activate Susano'o in his head in response if he's sunk 100m because his body wasn't quick enough to bend his knees and propel him upwards before Jiraiya moved his hands a little. Since when did Itachi get prep time? Last I checked the match begins at the same time. Itachi doesn't get to time travel back 1 extra second, you seem to be misinterpreting how the sharingan precog works. If you're confused try rereading the end of Part 1 again where it's visually shown and explained, or reply to this and I'll be glad to posts the scans to help you. Or prove you wrong, which it will so maybe asking me isn't advisable if you support Itachi here.

And why would Itachi need prep time?

-Jiraiya makes one hand sign.

-Sharingan predicts his movement, and realizes that he's going to make another one to complete Yomi Numa.

-Itachi knows what's coming before the second hand sign is made.

-Itachi jumps away.

-Yomi Numa is used.

-Thus Itachi evaded.

It's really that simple. There is nothing instant about Yomi Numa, or fast about Jiraiya's hand speed that'd make Itachi unable to react.

You mentioned something about I just replied backs , I just don't see any of the toads being a threat to itachi except the elder toads.

You serouis majority it was stated many times that itachi had a very power chakra & Uchiha had a good resort of chakra?

May I just ask why do you think it takes up to much chakra for itachi?

I never mentioned the toads outside of Fukasaku and Shima being any kind of threat to Itachi either. He has ways of easily disposing of them.

Because of the size of the summons, it's going to require a good deal of amaterasu to take them out. Bunta by himself rivals the one tail in size:

You must be registered for see images

Two uses of tsukuyomi and amaterasu had tired out Itachi a good deal in part 1. He was extremely sick in his only full alive fight in part 2, so can't really use that as a comparison, but ITachi himself has never shown to have a gigantic amount of chakra. And even if he did, using as much amaterasu as it would take to put down multiple boss summons would deplete him quite a bit regardless.

Uchiha generally having great amounts of chakra does not = Itachi having great amounts of chakra. Databook scores are iffy at best, but as the only real reference we have for his chakra level/stamina, his part 1 and part 2 stamina level was graded out as 2.5 in the databooks.

I suppose you're right.

Hardening the Mud by heating it up lets him break out with Susanoo.

As long as he doesn't sink before he can use Katon, then there is no issue, if Jiraiya tries to attack, Susanoo protects him.

That whole altercation wasn't even anywhere near a minute. Probably only a few seconds, and a few seconds isn't enough to sink Itachi completely, or even close to that.

It won't take anywhere near a minute to sink Itachi though. If we reference what happened to Human Path, his arm was sucked in to about elbow length in the span of a couple seconds despite the force of gravity working against the sinking process and the weight of Animal Path clinging on to him also slowing down the process. If you look at what happened to Orochimaru's boss snake, it sank deep into the swamp almost instantly because its mass caused it to sink faster and gravity was also acting upon it so it sank faster into the swamp. So if Itachi uses Susano'o simultaneously to protect himself in case Jiraiya attacks, its mass just means he sinks even faster. And we know Susano'o is significantly heavy since Sasuke . So basically, in Itachi's situation he will sink faster than Human Path did because

1. In addition to the swamp's suction, gravity will be pushing him deeper into the swamp rather than pushing him out of it like it did in human path's case (keep in mind the weight of Animal Path clinging on to Human Path was also working against the swamp and slowing down the sinking process)
2. Susanoo's mass just makes the situation worse for Itachi and means he will only sink faster (reference how quickly something heavy like Orochimaru's snake sinks). Itachi would need to maintain at least a V3 since anything less gets plowed through with Chou Oodama Rasengan.

It won't take anywhere near a minute for Itachi to submerge completely, I'd give him around 10-20 seconds at best.

@bold: Except we don't know that, nor does anything imply that they can.

Logically speaking Ma and Pa should be able to maintain Frog Call until they run out of breath (unless there are unknown limitations to the jutsu besides chakra limits and lung capacity), and we've seen how long they can maintain Frog Song without needing to draw breath (quite a while). Regardless, Ma can use Frog Call to paralyze Itachi and then Pa uses it on him when Ma reaches her limit. They should be able to alternate like this for quite a while, much much longer than it will take Itachi to sink into the swamp. And if Itachi can't move, he can't prevent himself from sinking.

@UchiGod

Funny you say welcome back because as soon as i reply twice in the hiruzen vs itachi thread, that is me done. Owarij comes online, but doesn't post in threads. Don't blame him tbh

@ EliteKakashi nobody is doubting that at best it may immobilize temporarily even the strongest shinobi's, but GGing any note worth shinobi by them drowning, ive been on forums for sometime to see clearly BS.

As for noteworthy opponent's, the snake and human path. Not too convinced about either being note worthy opponents.

I have said that if he starts in SM it goes either way, mainly because of the two sages, especially fukasaku. Admittedly he scares me alot due to his knowledge/keen eye, but also his collaboration techniques which shima.

Anyway any opponent is perfectly safe in a distance of mid-long range looking at itachi's eyes and wouldn't fall into an illusion as its short range. So any opponent can do this. Problem is while jiraiya does have quite a few large scale techniques, majority will fail agains't itachi, but also increasing the range in order to stay out of range of possible genjutsu means that any technique launched is giving itachi space/time to react.

Anyway i don't want to waste anymore post/time here so we can do this in vm.

@Guru Laghima

Its a concession if there wasn't any viable counters.

Another possible counter is the kawarimi. Full knowledge given in the op (meaning he knows what seals the two seals to expect), combined with the sharingan (nice of you to take note of the boar and not snake seal, take it you read my post on nf some time back, damn, as i was typing that i knew it may come back to bite me), means that he should be able to anticipate it and use the kawarimi. May not have shown it, but since itachi did pass the academy and its an academy technique, he doesn't need feats to say he can use it.

So full knowledge + sharingan = Kawarimi.

We have seen in the manga, techniques that have actually been given noteworthy hype that as the series progress and its usage became more frequent, it effectiveness lessened.

Yomi numa hasn't been given at all the hype and gg status that the manga has given to some of these techniques. Its a technique that from no where has accumulated such hype. Hype that the manga hasn't given it, but the db has. But if that is the case, it isn't the first technique that hasn't quiet got the hype of the manga, but has that of the db.

As for what you said about susanoo and foodcart destroyer. Not quite.
Susanoo's strength is enough for one of its arm to pull the user out. Secondly its arm depending on the user has shown to go up to 4, though one arm is enough, so i believe it will get the user out before any sort of food cart destroyer comes

Been doing this for sometime to see through ruse, almost like a sixth sense. May have convinced others of its gg status, not of those others.

@Psycho Maid (this post also is amied at Guru). I don't think you understand what i said when i said, while jiraiya does determine the size of the swamp, his decision of its size goes hand in hand with the size of the target or the number of targets.

In a battle situation agains't 1 ninja, if he was to produce it, it will most likely be one just big enough to swallow the opponent. Trouble is because some have believed that its a GG technique, jiraiya will waste a considerable amount of chakra and cover the whole battlefield with a technique that isn't exactly his strongest.

If jiraiya does produce this large scale yomi numa and its countered by his opponent, he has just poured down the drain a huge portion of his chakra. Think jiraiya fans believe jiraiya himself believes yomi numa to be a gg technique and therefore will use a considerable amount of chakra on this technique, highly unlikely. He will play it safe most likely and see whether one big enough to swallow his opponent will suffice. He will use common sense and produce one just big enough for his opponent and conserve his chakra in case his opponent has a counter.

Back @Guru what i said is not plot induced stupidity, its you not making sense. Your point in stating hashirama's golem/dragon or gaara's imperial coffin is moot. Both these techniques are big as standard. Their size is for a purpose. Hashirama's is mainly because of its usage agains't other targets of equal size (susanoo/tailed beast), though can also be effective on smaller. Gaara imperial funeral size is because it covers the victim with layers and layers of sand, therefore restricting as much as possible their movement and further improving its binding power. Its size is needed or else wouldn't be as effective.

To achieve the desired result (in this case, immobilisation/drowning) whilst conserving your chakra in case it doesn't work, it a strategy that everybody uses. If a swamp is big enough to swallow a human, he will produce one just big enough to do so. Don't think are familiar with the term efficiency.

I don't believe jiraiya like him fans believe in the gg yomi numa and will use a huge portion of his chakra to cover the entire battlefield and call it a day.

Anyway skim reading Kidgamers post he is on the right track on the hardening of the swamp. In a previous post, i said the environment that both are in will make numa less effective because both are good katon users. Jiraiya has some large scale katons. Itachi has amaterasu which has been stated to produce a fair bit of heat, by kabuto as it instantly upon it being used, its heat cancelled out muki tensei. Whilst Sasuke took advantage of amaterasu heat the environment for kirin

Kaguya decided agains't the ice dimension as sasuke had amaterasu

Amaterasu cannot be extinguished, but also itachi has a degree of control enough for it spread on its own. So as long as its in the battlefield it will continuously burn and produce heat.

Along with jiraiya large scale katon collaboration technique, their katons will produce enough heat to the location that, yomi numa if used would harden in no time. Like what happened to the juubi.

I'm honestly not sure Kisame and Itachi are referencing Jiraiya in their first statements. While that makes the most sense when you look at those statements alone, if you look at Kisame's next statement, it makes the idea that they're referencing Jiraiya in their earlier statements unlikely:

You must be registered for see images

So, to clear up:

Even if you might be able to take him on, I'm not so sure about me.

then

It was great finding him at the ramen shop.

Then he references Jiraiya being his babysitter/bodyguard, and notes how Itachi and Kisame's titles pale in comparison to the title of a Sannin.

And where as Itachi stated worry about having to fight the first opponent Kisame was referencing, he stated this about Jiraiya:

You must be registered for see images

It's some pretty shitty wording/phrasing on behalf of Kishi(or maybe it's the translators who did a poor job) either way, but them referencing having to fight kyuubi makes much more sense given their statements on the bottom of that page then it does them referencing having to fight Jiraiya. There's no apparent break in their conversation either, so this appears to have been a fluid conversation.

You didn't need to type all that.
It can be summarised in a few sentences.
Its been confirmed what itachi's true intentions were and it wasn't capturing Naruto.
Jiraiya was Naruto's protector at that time.
If its been confirmed that there was no intentions to capture naruto. Surely this also translate to no intention to fight jiraiya, unless itachi/jiraiya had prior problems before. If a fight was to happen, it certainly wouldn't be about capturing naruto. That has been squashed like 400 chapters ago

Human Path was kneeling on the ceiling, Itachi will be standing up straight. The only reason it appeared like he was sucked in so deep, is because he was kneeling, meaning the swamp doesn't have to be deep enough to submerge him when he's standing up. In a couple of seconds, Itachi won't even be sunk half way if we go off of that instantce.

Susanoo being able to anchor itself doesn't mean it's heavy, that means it's strong. It anchored itself using it's arm. Considering Sasuke can still use Shunshin ([ ] [ ] in a Susanoo this size, I'm pretty sure it's not as heavy, at least nowhere near as heavy as a boss snake.

1. In addition to the swamp's suction, gravity will be pushing him deeper into the swamp rather than pushing him out of it like it did in human path's case (keep in mind the weight of Animal Path clinging on to Human Path was also working against the swamp and slowing down the sinking process)
Uh huh. But he'll be standing up this time unlike Human Path, who was pretty much on his knees.

2. Susanoo's mass just makes the situation worse for Itachi and means he will only sink faster (reference how quickly something heavy like Orochimaru's snake sinks). Itachi would need to maintain at least a V3 since anything less gets plowed through with Chou Oodama Rasengan.
Chou Oodama Rasengan isn't plowing through V2, it wrecks V1 at most, does V2 some good damage, but Itachi would still survive, which is all that matters. As long as he doesn't sink before he can harden it (Which shouldn't be an issue due to having Amaterasu (No hand signs and it's extremely fast) or just regular Katon to heat the area near him, though I have no doubt that Amaterasu would work, so sticking to that would be efficient.

And if Jiraiya attacks with a Rasengan, and Susanoo tanks, what happens then? He ends up falling into the swamp he just created. What also stops Itachi from countering by hitting him with Amaterasu while he's coming. He'll be in the air, so he can't evade. What stops him from knocking Jiraiya and his Rasengan away instead of attempting to tank it? [ ] [ ]

It won't take anywhere near a minute for Itachi to submerge completely, I'd give him around 10-20 seconds at best.
Human Path was in there longer, and he wasn't submerged that fast. Susanoo doesn't add enough weight, if any noticeable weight at all, that'd let you come to the conclusion Itachi sinks that much faster than he does.

And that's even assuming he get's caught, something that won't happen when he can outright evade the swamp altogether, given full knowledge, his speed, and Sharingan. Like I said in my other post, Sharingan let him see Kabuto about to perform Suiryudan, and let him perform said jutsu before Kabuto even finished. Same happens to Jiraiya, but instead, Itachi jumps away while he's in the middle of casting it.

And then that also assumes that he doesn't harden the swamp and then break out, meaning he'll be able to evade Jiraiya's counter attack.

There's also him being able to grab onto something near by to pull himself out of the swamp using Susanoo.

Once he's dealt with the swamp, either by escape or evasion, he only needs to get to area, and Yomi Numa becomes a non factor considering he can't turn water into a swamp, only the ground.

They use the jutsu by focusing a certain amount of Senjutsu Chakra to their throat, after that chakra is used up, the Frog Call stops. What we've seen in the manga is most likely their limit. Saying they can build up more would be nothing but an assumption. Also, Frog Call has been shown to be a jutsu that needs both of them to croak at once. No reason to believe that either one can pull it off on their own.

I know he was. That's why I used his forearm as a frame of reference instead of his legs. His forearm was sucked in by swamp in only a few seconds [ ]. I just measured my forearm and it's about 23 centimeters so we can use that as a reference. Itachi is 178 centimeters tall so if the swamp sucked in about 20 centimeters in about 3 seconds (that's my best guess on how long it took), that means it would take 26.7 seconds for the full length of Itachi's body to become submerged if he were to sink at the same speed human path did. And we know he would sink quite a lot faster actually, due to gravity pushing him into the swamp as well as Susanoo's weight accelerating the sinking process. I know it's a rough estimate so I'm not going to interpret these numbers as fact but it's still in the ball park and then we consider the factors that will be different with Itachi and Human path (gravity and mass) and we can infer that the swamp will sink Itachi fast enough for Frog Call to be maintained.

Sasuke didn't actually move that fast or cross much distance in Susano'o. Itachi pulled back the snakes which were attached to "Kabuto", reeling him in closer to Sasuke's position at which point Sasuke grabbed the hood and traveled a small distance. In that same fight, Itachi had Susano'o activated but needed to dispell it in order to shunshin over to Kabuto [ ]. I never said Susano'o was as heavy as a boss snake but surely you agree that it has some weight to it and if Jiraiya chooses to he can summon a toad on top of Susano'o with FCD to push Itachi and his Susano'o deeper into the swamp with the added weight of the toad.

Uh huh. But he'll be standing up this time unlike Human Path, who was pretty much on his knees.

Okay, so Itachi will need to maintain V2 and not V3. It still seems like a V2 Susano'o would be rather heavy and its weight would make him sink into the swamp faster. Itachi nor his Susano'o can move to knock away Jiraiya fast enough if he's paralyzed and distracted by Frog Call and he can't turn his head to cast Amaterasu on Jiraiya either.

Human Path was in there longer, and he wasn't submerged that fast. Susanoo doesn't add enough weight, if any noticeable weight at all, that'd let you come to the conclusion Itachi sinks that much faster than he does.

Human Path wasn't in there for very long at all, he was pulled in there and almost immediately afterwards was caught in genjutsu, during which Jiraiya must have canceled the jutsu or pulled him out of the swamp himself because next we seem him, Human Path was on the floor with a sword through his chest [ ].

@Bold: that's what Frog Call is for, Itachi can't evade the swamp when he's paralyzed.

Itachi can't weave the hand seals for katon while he is paralyzed and he won't be able to turn his head to use Amaterasu and the swamp directly beneath/around him unless he is already looking in that direction (though I suppose the argument could be made that the further he sinks into the swamp, the closer it reaches his eye level so this probably won't pose a significant problem.) I wasn't even thinking about the location in my arguments.

I disagree completely. There were two targets, so each toad targeted one summon [ ]. Itachi is only one target. No reason at all to believe that Frog Call is only effective if both of them use it at once. The two of them using it together is not one jutsu, but rather two individuals who are using the same jutsu simultaneously.

Anyway, I'm getting bored with Jiraiya being on the offensive. How do you suggest Itachi kills Jiraiya? He needs a solid way to take him down since Jiraiya obviously wins in a battle of attrition.

So no, what you are implying will happen is not what happened in the manga, nor does it make any sense.

1. Itachi is on the ground.

2. Jiraiya starts to cast Yomi Numa.

3. Itachi sees the hand signs, knows what's coming, and is able to evade before it's used.
The time frame between 2 and 3 is virtually non existent. Itachi is not fast enough to be able to jump into the air during the speed it takes from the first and second handsign to complete, regardless of what he sees coming.

As they start the fight at the same time, Itachi won't be able to accurately read what he's about to do and then decide to jump, do it successfully then avoid before it becomes GG. Itachi wouldn't be able to jump to avoid it if Itachi began jumping the instant the fight began, moving your hands into position takes far less time than jumping, and this assumes Itachi gets prep time and knowledge beforehand and still tries to jump. Itachi jumping<<<<Jiraiya moving his hands in speed, it's literally common sense try jumping then try moving your hands and you'll see.

And to say Itachi will be able to activate his magic KidGamer's Sharingan, then read what he thinks Jiraiya is about to do despite the fact it's being activated at the same time then use it? Completely ridiculous logic, he can't freeze time when he's reading someone's hand seals, and if he could his body's not physically fast enough.

Human Path has a slower air time than Itachi does now? Great, now Itachi is so godlike he can literally control the speed at which he falls and move around in air at will. Sorry if Itachi "evades" Yomi Numa as you're claiming, he's gonna have to land eventually and he's going to land on Yomi Numa.

Ignoring the fact that he was stuck inside an infinite repeated loop in Izanami where the same thing happens over and over, of course dream Itachi knows what he's about to do he's in his subconscious. And yeah the way you're treating it definitely makes it seem like a godlike magical sixth sense that sees the future and allows Itachi to move in the fight before Jiraiya gets a chance to despite the fact they start at the exact same time.

Dude wtf? It's two handsigns, you're making it seem like it takes an hour of prep time. You as a human being could jump 2 ft in the air AKA human jumping height and still perform the signs for 4 Yomi Numa while you're falling. Jiraiya literally watches where Itachi's about to land and then uses it again when he touches ground. It's impossible to instantly jump away regardless of if he sees it coming or not, or float like Onoki and you know that damn well.

I've provided speed feats, and I've proven that he'll see it coming before it's used.
No you haven't. It's literally impossible for Itachi to see it coming before it's used considering they start the match at the same time and Itachi can't reverse time using his sharingan. If they encountered each other on more relaxed terms like when Jiraiya got him to run away, then maybe you'd have an argument and he'd jump to avoid since he could see it in time, but when Jiraiya makes it the same instant Itachi is allowed to move then he's screwed.

More than enough that is needed to dodge it. All you've said is "Instant swamp GG" even though Yomi Numa has never shown to be instant, it's not cast instantly either (Giving opponents time to evade) and it's best feats are catching Human Path and a giant summoned snake.
Is there a problem with that? I kept it short and sweet and it's still 100% valid, Yomi Numa solos. And no I didn't say instant swamp GG, I said nigh instant swamp GG there's a difference, but not a difference that it makes for Itachi who's too slow to jump before Jiraiya moves his hands a little bit.

The instant it makes contact with you, is the instant you're screwed. It doesn't matter if it took 5 hours to pull you under which it clearly doesn't, if you're in Human Path's situation and you become a useless sitting duck because you're immobilized.

Already replied to, and lol, read my posts before saying nonsense like the bold. Where did I say he'd move before Jiraiya would? I said he'd move before Yomi Numa is cast, not when it was cast, so why in the hell do you keep asking me to prove he can evade it?
You're so far backed into a corner you're contradicting yourself in the same sentence lol. If they move at the exact same time, then Itachi has to be able to have the speed to propel himself into the air with a jump before Jiraiya can move his hands, which he cannot. It's that simple.

Your argument at this point is literally "Yomi Numa one shots, prove me wrong". Not much of an argument.
It is when it really does one shot, and you're having this horrible of a time attempting to prove it. Besides I'll give more irrefutable evidence why Jiraiya negs besides once you show how Itachi gets past the first jutsu, which sadly isn't happening since he can't.

Me said:
Just so you know for sure that you're wrong, as seen, as seen Kabuto even sees Itachi use the move and counter it with a suiton in the same exact situation. If what you said held any water(lolol) whatsoever then Itachi would always be 1 step ahead.

^You quoted this entire thing in your post, but didn't reply to any of it btw.

Still singing the same old nonsensical song huh? There is no "avoiding the jutsu" there is only him evading when he sees Jiraiya making the hand signs. You don't have to evade something that isn't coming at you.
Well at least I'm glad you conceded that if Jiraiya did use the jutsu before Itachi jumped, he's dead meat.
Yomi Numa isn't even going to be used by the time Itachi has evaded, because Jiraiya will still be forming the hand signs for it.
This is ridiculous, you're under the impression there is a large amount of time when "Jiraiya is still making handsigns" where Itachi gets a chance to jump. Move your hand then move it in another position right after, you know those parts in the manga where their hands are a blur because they're doing a shitton of handsigns really fast? This only takes 2, Itachi cannot jump before that I don't give a flying fadoodle how many handsigns he can see in advance if they start the fight at the same time. what about this do you not understand it is not a difficult concept.

Just like Kabuto. He saw what jutsu Kabuto was going to use before he used it,
Because he had seen him use it again and again and again and again and again.
via Hand Signs. Instead of copying it this time around, he evades Yomi Numa.
He can't, plus even if the Kabuto feat was real he was given time in advance to predict his move, Kabuto didn't act at the exact same time Itachi's given a chance to even activate his sharingan. But it's a BS feat either way so I don't have to go there, since I'm nice I did.
According to your logic the instant the fight starts is when Itachi starts using his sharingan and predicts his move in the very short time it takes Jiraiya to make the 2nd handsign. Sorry he's not jumping that fast before it even touches his leg even though it formed and submerged half of a massive 50 meter+ snake in the span of 1 panel, I don't even have to provide proof hell Konohamaru could form 1 handsign in the time it takes Itachi to jump. Ok get up and do a physical exercise for me, try and jump in the air then try and move your hands in 2 positions quickly, which is faster. Unless there's some weird proof that proves character's leg speeds are faster than their hand seal speed...

And he doesn't have super speed midair, so even if he did jump to avoid he has to fall, therefore land, and therefore land in another swamp and then GG.

He jumps, lands. Jiraiya tries to use it again, and then he evades, again.
LOL wut? You must be delusional or mixing up what I'm saying(or far too stubborn to consider opposing viewpoints before dismissing them no matter how obvious). That's one of the most fallacious things I've ever seen-- You missed an entire world of possibilities just assuming Itachi gets to land for free. Let me fill in the blank for you. Itachi jumps, then falls, then BEFORE he lands Yomi Numa gg.

"Jiraiya tries to use it again, then he evades again" right after just assuming Itachi lands lol...I cant believe this all this blatant disregard for facts and common sense after what's I've emphasized and has been discussed all this time. Step up your game man I've been kinda ok with your posts up to this point, but now comes the part you're really pushed into a corner and stat saying all this nonsensical desperate babble. Gotta realize when it's over man.

Furthermore that posts the most blatantly baseless post ever, just "yep Itachi evades again gg, no explanation as to how if Jiraiya uses it right before he lands...he just does." You avoided the subject throughout this entire post and you gave absolutely no logical explanation how in the hell he plans to avoid the one he's falling right towards at all lol.

I know you have a little bit of trouble reading the words on the pages but seriously read the surrounding ones including the link I sent. Your own scan proves your point wrong. The same situation happened dozens of times, that was the entire point of the chapter emphasizing Kabuto can't win because everything he does has already been recorded and put on loop to put him back in the same situation. Weird-Kabuto-mind-Itachi doesn't have a mind of his own, and if he did it's only what Kabuto's perception of him is and in no way reflects the real Itachi's actions, which, if you don't remember even though I already linked it, was Kabuto the incoming jutsu. In fact he already did it before that too.

And yes it does because it's in Kabuto's subconscious loool I can't believe you're actually trying to use that to prove Itachi can see Jiraiya's handsigns in the future even though they're both allowed to move at the same time.

Yeah, to react to the hand signs, not the jutsu that is upcoming. If he can react to Jiraiya's making of the hand signs, he can evade, and there is literally no reason he can't.
Other than the fact it's outright impossible for him to see Jiraiya make the sign, process what jutsu he's using hten immediately bend his legs, and propel him up to jump all in the time it takes for Jiraiya to move his fingers?
The rest is nonsense I've already replied to, or stuff you are clearly misinterpreting.
Alright, keep telling yourself that and blatantly ignoring key points such as "as I know Itachi has never been able to fly in the manga, he's not Onoki and has to land eventually" and "ou haven't given any support that Itachi would be able to blink because Jiraiya forms them faster. He's not Mifune, you're avoiding the subject" which is kind of ironic but anyway moving on.

1. Not the same thing as what I'm describing.

2. Sasuke has already shown to be able to react to Killer B's speed. [ ] [ ] So no, he didn't get hit because he was too slow to react. He got hit because he was taken by surprise, something that has no factor in this fight.
Again intentionally lying about scans, either that or you misunderstood them. That attack was an extremely straightforward and linear attack so Sasuke was able to deflect it far more easily that way. It's how sharingan has always worked.

But wait, that's strange? During actual combat in a taijutsu clash, somehow he lost the exchange...Why would this happen if Sasuke has "already shown" to be able to react to Bee's speed? Yeah bro he clearly allowed himself to get stabbed by Bee's swords, his sharingan let him react if he wanted to but he planned to get stabbed all along. Flawless logic.

3. He thought B was down. Has nothing to do with him being unable to react because his "Sharingan failed him".
Still had it activated so your point is moot, if sharingan was godly future sight powers as you claim then he would have seen Bee get up and attempt to attack before he actually moved, in fact you even claimed he can react to Bee's speed before. No idea why you'd admit that when it only reinforces my argument and harms yours but alright

Meanwhile their actual taijutsu bout that isn't a linear straightforward dash in which Sasuke was rekt in, was ignored by you.

Except I never said that Sharingan sees everything someone's about to do before they do it, I said that he can see Jiraiya's jutsu coming before it actually happens. Once again, you are being a strawman in attempt to make your "argument" seem more valid than it really is.
Are you kidding me? You need to write your posts more clearly if you think I am strawmanning you. Everything I've said is still valid, you haven't even slightly countered anything I said and I've addressed your claims very clearly and even every time I've seen you misunderstand something I've been kind enough to point out exactly what it was you misunderstood.

That's my job as a debater because you know, if I say you're wrong then the burden of proof's on me to show that. You on the other hand have been laying casual claims out like "lol I already countered this nonsense" or "lol you cant even understand what happened on that panel nice going bro" without even showing what I apparently misunderstood every 5 seconds.

Jiraiya is making hand signs, thus the Sharingan will be able to see what's coming next. Nothing to do with B landing a surprise attack on Sasuke.
Itachi gets a headstart in the match? They both start moving at the exact same time, until you can prove Itachi bends his knees and jump before Jiraiya moves his hands a little then he gets swallowed by the undeworld neg diff.

I don't care what he can see, I don't care if he can see 2 years in the future, he won't be able to counter, and if he could see 2 years in the future to know to jump before the match even starts somehow, then Jiraiya would see that and not even attempt to use Yomi Numa and adapt accordingly. But anyway that's retarded and I'm talking hypotheticals in a world that couldn't exist besides maybe the most dedicated Itachi fans and it's literally impossible so moving on.

Learn what submerged means buddy. If the snake was submerged, it'd be completely down under. I don't know about you, but Human Path and the snake are still visible, hence not being subdued. So no, that's not instant, at all.
Both instances the swamp wasn't big enough to sink them, not that Jiraiya needs to make one big enough to sink Itachi as anything up to the waist is much more than enough proven by Human path's uselessness.

To your own admission the swamp's intention is to fully submerge the target. No idea why you're trying to argue against that, Jiraiya literally said "Damn it won't even sink all the way in such a small swamp" and to quote you on the topic of it fully submerging the target, "Obviously."

"its" and lol, unless Itachi plans on holding his hands up in the air over his head while he sinks pretty sure they're generally around the waist level, and it sunk Human up to his chest despite the end result be him standing pretty upright in the swamp.

You know how quicksand works right? Even the real world has it and if your arms were held above your waist while your chest is under you'd have a lot of trouble making use of them. People die from quicksand because of suffocation since it surrounds their chest and they cant breathe, what is Itachi even going to do with his arms if he had them? He's a sitting duck, best he can do is flail them around until he dies anyway.

This is all operating on the assumption it doesn't fully submerge him(because Jiraiya doesn't need to, but on account of the fact it easily sunk a massive snake in 1 panel in such a small swamp he will), or the insane idea his hands won't get pulled in in the first place.

Nothing except science. Unless you can show me why it'd be different from normal mud. Fire heats up mud, when mud becomes heated it hardens. That's a fact. Let's not try and deny it.
Other than the fact it's chakra infused earthly magical mud from the underworld that fully submerges the target and immobilizes them so they can't move their body?

You haven't given me any logical way Itachi plans to use katon on this LOOL, so you're sayig he'll be trapped above his waist, his arms are gonna be all awkward above him then he can form katon signs then burn the very swamp he's been trapped in even though it's 1 ft close to his mouth, to harden it assuming he doesn't get burned alive becauseo f that. Pure genius. On top of that if the swamp hardens then it's like being surrounded by concrete, I hope burned-alive Itachi remembered to take a deep breath before he hardened it(Literally the exact opposite of how to use a katon) because if not he won't be able to breathe.

I know Itachi fans get desperate in situations like this but dude, that's one of the most ridiculous claims I've ever heard. As I said 1-2 posts ago, if you're trying to claim Itachi will be in the air and use katon on the swamp that he "evaded" by your logic, so that he can safely land on it, that's one thing. Saying "lol well while he's trapped he just katons is then hardens it... then he's ok somehow even though I didn't detail it at all" is another story. Pretty baffled here.

Except you've failed to do the following:

-Provide evidence as to why Yomi Numa will catch Itachi despite it's best feats being catching a snake and human path.
This means nothing, plenty of jutsu have never actually landed on anything. Deidara's C3's only feat was being tanked by Gaara's sand but I'm not doubting its destructive power even though it never landed on anyone.

Except that's a completely wrong line of logic I just wanted to satisfy you. In reality, Human path and Itachi are both normally affected by gravity and thus fall at the exact same speed, as Itachi can't fly he has to land one day and considering it caught Human in the same exact situation--or even more difficult as Jiraiya was in 3 way combat fighting off and Human and 2 others with eyes superior to sharingan, and Human was on the ceiling and easily could have jumped according to you and is even more affected by gravity, and Jiraiya still slipped it in the fight casually mid combat and about 20 other things-- he has no way of countering. Replace Human path with Itachi and the same exact thing happens, he's not god his body functions the same way as everyone else's besides Onoki.
-Provide evidence as to why Yomi Numa will sink him completely in an instant, despite it not doing so to any of it's targets in the manga.

Hell, provide proof showing that Yomi Numa is instant like you claim it is.
Again another strawman as I never said this, in fact I never said that only that its activation is nigh instant, the second it touches Itachi he's screwed though as factually proven by Human's inability to do anything and more. But to make you happy(or mad that I'm right) look at the panel in which it was used originally in part 1 to see the massive snake attempting to attack and then the swamp immobilizes its movement in the span of 1 panel. An area hundreds and hundreds of times the size of width and depth of Itachi and it put half the snake under.. too bad it wasn't even completely submerged in "such a small swamp" and not like he needs to completely drown Itachi since that makes it too easy.

The sheer fact he's far faster than any of it's canonical targets
This is an incredibly fallacious claim by you. This logic doesn't hold any merit because it's faulty logic,"Yomi Numa has only captured 2 targets, therefore it's impossible for Yomi Numa to capture Itachi because he's faster than those 2 targets and Yomi Numa hasn't been shown on panel to capture anyone faster than those 2." This is blatantly wrong because thus: Yomi Numa has never been shown attempting and failing to capture a target slower than Itachi, in fact both times it's been used it has succeeded and with flying colors at that.

And I've already answered why Human Path and Itachi are essentially equal in that case, even if that fallacy did make sense and was correct logic. Human and Itachi are equally affected by gravity, if Itachi and human jump and land on something Jiraiya uses it right where they land, Itachi can't circumvent that in any way he has no way of countering it any more than Human does. I don't care if it's BM Naruto or Itachi or Konohamaru they'd all fall the same after they jump once, and they'll be forced to fall into it and get trapped. Does Naruto have other answers? Yeah obviously he'd counter it no diff, but assuming he just falls like everyone else here and doesn't use any of the answers he has that Itachi and co doesn't, he would get trapped too. Being a higher tier doesn't exempt you from having to follow the laws of basic physics.

and the fact he'll see it coming is more than enough for him to evade it. Like I said, your argument is nothing but "Yomi Numa GG prove me wrong".
Yes I'm writing more to emphasize that Yomi Numa really does GG. You should have been able to prove it wrong with facts and evidence easily by now if that really was the case but unfortunately you havent so Yomi Numa shits pretty hard as of yet.

Itachi sees it coming whilst he's in midair falling to the ground? Pray tell what he can possibly do if Jiraiya is forming the handsigns to make a swamp appear directly underneath him while he's affected by gravity and must land on the ground somehow. You cannot possibly counter this, it's utterly impossible for Itachi to avoid it that's what I'm saying.

Look at both sides logically, this is the reason I think Jiraiya wins. Itachi is pretty cool too as a person but that doesn't stop him from losing the vs fight. When you look at it like this rationally you'd realize he truly has no response, because it doesn't exist.

Typing longer posts isn't going to make it seem any more logical.
I know you're condescending and drop one liners all the time but that's what makes our posts different, I'm writing more because I'm actually trying to educate you with the rational truth instead of clouded biased logic. I know you think I'm being antagonistic but I'm just trying to give you a clearer view and more detail on what actually happened and supporting every single thing I say with reasoning behind it(including htis paragraph). If you want me to not give you reasons and my thought process for everything I claim in my post, let me know, but then your replies will only be filled with "lolol baseless" and make me repeat myself 500 times with that same reasoning in the next post explaining it.

1. He won't be submerged completely, so why in the hell are you even comparing this to an underwater scenario?
If you aren't addressing the point of that example then you didn't understand it and you're avoiding hte main subject again. Even if he's only halfway submerged it's the same thing, Susano'o doesn't repel all of the mud that's already surrounding him inside the area of effect Susano'o covers in hte first place. Literalyl show me a panel of Susano'o pushing away and blocking all physical matter 1 millimeter from Itachi's body outwards to where the actual Susano'o body appears, it'll be interesting to see. It ain't shinra tensei.

2. If he's not submerged completely, and the mud around him is hardened, Susanoo only needs to smash said mud and then Itachi is free.
LOL WHAT Since when is Susano'o capable of smashing the concrete inside itself? Itachi is immobile and can't move, it has no way of smashing the mud that's inside where its shield and body appears. I'm really interested in hearing your logic behind this one, you seem to be really desperate to make a claim of this level. That's the same thing as you trying to punch one of your internal organs. Literally the same exact thing.

Anyway, here's where my point of Susano'o "boxing him in" comes into play, if the AoE of the swamp is much smaller than the area Susano'o covers he has no way of destroying it with Susano'o. Hey plus they even have full knowledge, isn't that great more support.
It's intention being to full submerge the opponent=/=It doing so instantly=/=It doing so before Itachi can do something about it.
Except once he's touched by it, he can't do anything about it. Using your ingenious katon strategy he's going to burn himself to death considering the only thing he;s been shown making are massive fireballs and he has to shoot it right in front of him while he's sinking.

1. Yes, it has been shown to detach from Itachi. [ ]

2. It didn't mean it'd grab him and pull him up, poor wording. It'll simply break out.
I was waiting for you to say that lol...sorry it destroys your points, in fact I was thinking about posting that exact scan to help reinforce my point. Hey, you know what happens when it detaches from Itachi, the frail non-durable character who's stuck defenseless in a swamp until Susano'o breaks him out, right?

Yeah, Jiraiya's just gonna sit on his ass and wait for susano'o to appear behind him, even with full knowledge, and break him out. LOL

All he has to do is hit him once, then that "defense" that you claimed was a decent response to "defenseless? he has unbeatable susanoo gg" is completely null and void. Second it detaches from him Jiraiya kicks his head off and he dies instead of sitting on his ass waiting for it to free him.

Plus, based on the COMPLETELY ridiculous notion that Itachi's even able to "harden" it or Susano'os powerful enoug to break it out anyway. And how is Susano'o planning on breaking him out without hurting Itachi himself? Nevertheless none of that really matters, since you openly conceded the trapped Itachi willingly takes off the only thing preventing him from being rekt in .2 seconds.

I'm proud you opened yourself up to this point I've been waiting, I wanted to give you a chance but it's ok it was a fun debate, there's definitely no doubt about it now.

Doesn't help your case that Yomi Numa's best feat is immoblizing a giant fodder snake (The same kind KN0 Naruto was overpowering in Part 1) and Human Path, who is nowhere near as powerful as Susanoo, physically.
Same kind of fallacy that you used before about how because Yomi Numa only trapped fodders then anyone who is better than those fodders will be able to avoid it. Just because KN0 was physically stronger than boss snake doesn't mean anything, but you already gave up with the above paragraphs, and Susano'o punching the swamp will only get it trapped if anything since the idea of it hardening is kinda weird. Plus there's the part where Jiraiya is sitting around waiting for Itachi to do that and hte second Susano'o tries to pull him out it's gg.

3. Susanoo bottom being exposed is irrelevant. Not gonna stop it from breaking out nor will it stop it from pulling Itachi out, nor will the swamp instantly sink it like you seem to believe, despite me not seeing evidence from you.
You have seen evidence on . Almost no time passed, at least not enough time for that massive charging snake t do anything about it or for Human to "jump again" like you're claiming and hell, Jiraiya didn't even use it before he touched the ground that time like he can so easily do with Itachi who apparently jumps to avoid it.

4. His arms won't be immobilzed though. Your evidence was a scan of Human Path's arms being immobilized...when Jiraiya used it on him, when his hands were on the ground.
You realize what position Itachi will be in if he holds his arms up right? It's going to immobilize the rest of his body it'll be extremely hard to use handsigns, and absolutely no handsign he makes will benefit him when he's a sitting duck like that. Try and picture it in your head, look at how things would actually unfold if that happened and get the images out of your head that say Itachi is unbeatable and would be able to move in the swamp in any position, make as many handsigns while sinking or drowning and instantly katon the swamp harden it, then Susano'o breaks it somehow and frees him then he moves on. Human path was literally unable to move in any way and the tiny swamp that sunk the massive snake in 1 panel was thousands of times the size of Itachi.
Except you've given no real reason as to why it's invalid. I'll wait though, don't really expect anything from you though.
I have now, and yeah I feel the same towards your posts now that I've countered all of your points at this rate, now the desperation claims will truly begin if you even reply.
Except you haven't. Anyone can give me a manga scan and say that said jutsu is nigh instant due to the fact the manga is stilled. I'll look at how it's caught, and a giant snake and Human Path aren't impressive. Especially when neither of them could even see it coming like Itachi could.
Other things in manga gradually happen, in that panel you literally see a poof and then it's submerged in the swamp. Before that the snake was moving even going after Jiraiya but he stopped it in its tracks, I've posted the panel many many times now so it's not my fault if you're openly choosing to reject what happens on panel.

Scans? Nothing you've posted so far is clear cut proof of anything, only in your imaginary world where Jiraiya low diffs Itachi I guess.
Other than Itachi's obvious defeat I guess it's not proof of that much. Imaginary world lol more like real one
I've supported my claims. I'm just waiting for you to get real evidence for Yomi Numa being instant.
Why the strawman? I've never once said it was instant, just when Itachi is caught at that instant he's done for. So same thing I guess given you've got no evidence proving Itachi's legs move faster than Jiraiya can make 2 seals.

Ironically enough the very post you quoted was telling about how you're dodging my main points, and I still don't have an answer to your logic of how Itachi can magically see in the future to know he's gonna use it before he even begins and they start fighting at the same exact time. But even then, I'm nice enough to consider the points if he doesn't get negged instantly by Yomi Numa(which he does) since I know Jiraiya wins so easily.

Except the Izanami scans weren't read wrongly, you are only trying to invalidate them based on....oh wait, nothing.
Other than rational logic and actual comprehension of the chapter
Human Path was immobilized because it's arms were on the ground when the swamp was made. Only reason. So that's another thing you are wrong on, along with it being submerged.
Ah yes, his arms were the only reason he was immobile. Definitely not because the rest of his body was completely submerged or because the swamp prevents him from moving or anything. Must be just the arms. If Itachi can avoid getting his arms sunk it doesn't matter if it's up to his neck clearly, he no diff pulls off a katon somehow and escapes because you only get immobilized if your arms go under. True brilliance, how will I ever counter this genius logic.

Doesn't need to start 2 seconds in advance. If he sees Jiraiya making hand signs, he'll see what happens before that. Who gives a flying rat's ass if it's not a 40 hand sign jutus attack?
You used plural at the start, again proving by the time he sees Jiraiya use the handsigns the swamp will have already been made.
Itachi and Kabuto was only 1-2 hand signs, yet Itachi still beat him, due to the Sharingan.
Ah yes non existent Mind Itachi whose katon was already countered in the loops previous to that. Anyway, they had already clashed some time before that so it makes sense even given your ridiculous logic that I'm willing to consider no matter how illogical, that Itachi could predict his moves in advance to some extent...but here? Sorry nope, not when the ystart at the same time, once Jiraiya makes the first handsign and Itachi sees what's coming next it's over to your own admission.
Same exact thing happens here, except Itachi evades instead of copying Jiraiya's jutsu. "he can't do it because it's common sense" isn't any form of an argument or a counter argument.
Unfortunately when it really is common sense then yeah it's an argument that you're just being clearly too stubborn to accept the obvious facts. How is Itachi supposed to future-see with Sharingan that Jiraiya is gonna make a move when they start at the exact same time, then realize and process what jutsu and realize he has to jump, then bend his legs and push him up before Jiraiya makes his hands in 1 position?

You're still exaggerating Itachi's powers to the point of making it seem like he gets a 1 second headstart to read what Jiraiya's about to do. Pretend he has sharingan turned off and knows he has to jump the second the fight starts for a second. Which is faster Jiraiya moving 2 fingers or Itachi going into full jump to dodge what he knows is coming. Now erase that and pretend he actually has to use sharingan and magically read his hands and then do all of that. It's literally common sense it's not my fault you want Itachi to win so bad you can't see the truth. I've tried to help you look at things rationally plenty now.
Oh wow, nice counter argument. You are only making empty claims and asking me to prove them wrong. Like I said, in reality you have no argument.
Every single thing I have said has a support and base for it, that's why I think Jiraiya wins because it's based off something other than blind fanboyism. Please show me any specific example of things I have not elaborated on and I will do just that with manga evidence and my thought process. Until then it's you who's making the "empty claims" by claiming that mine are empty. I see no examples in that paragraph because they don't exist and again you know it.

I only said that he'll move while Jiraiya is still making the hand signs, not long before Jiraiya has a chance to move. Once again, you are being a strawman and it's pretty pathetic at best.
Yet again, you're under the impression there will be a lasting freeze frame of time that exists "while" Jiraiya is "busy" making those handsigns. In reality, he moves them into a position, then puts them in another position then the ground Itachi is on pulls him under. He physically cannot jump and avoid in the time it takes for Jiraiya to do that, please stop avoiding the subject.
I suggest you read before you reply, cause I never said this.
Essentially you have, and what you really 'have' said has been ignored by you and you haven't elaborated on it at all.

This is what you did: I pointed out what kind of ridiculous logic you're using as to why Itachi can avoid Yomi Numa, then you said "No, that's not what I meant at all, learn 2 read kid." Then you continued to go on as if what you said was still proven correct because I "read it wrong" when there wasnt anything there other than what I called out to begin with. That's not how you debate, you have to point out what about your argument is actually backed up by facts instead of a baseless claim. Me "reading your post wrong" or not doesn't free you from the requirement to back up that claim. Pointing out a flawed logic in someone else's argument doesn't automatically validate your own, it still has no support and you changed the subject through that way.

Susanoo moves with him. How in the hell would he be boxed in by it?
Like I said above you walked right into that one without knowing what I meant even though I tried to emphasize, so it's your own loss.

Once Itachi gets sunk, Susano'o has no way of damaging inside itself in order to break him out without first detaching from Itachi. Once it does that, he has no defense until Susano'o breaks him out(assuming the completely baseless idea that it even can)...and then it's very clearly GG as Jiraiya easily kills Susano'o-less, immobilized Itachi.

The same exact impact marks appear for Sasuke and Itachi during the sword dance, so no, Itachi was doing more than running away.
The difference is Itachi was clearly on defence and literally jumped away as soon as possible, Sasuke was engaged in a taijutsu fight with Bee and even planned on countering not that hard of a concept to understand. Although I already went over this above when we discussed how Sasuke clearly allowed himself to get stabbed by Bee's swords even though he was able to see through his speed earlier with sharingan easy. Genius
Sasuke didn't either, it was after he continued the taijutsu match that he lost. He could have easily fled the same as Itachi as shown but he stuck around instead of dashing away like Itachi did.

I'm sure there's some hard evidence that Itachi's precog is somehow superior to Sasuke's though hm? Please explain how sharingan users allow themselves to get hit by techniques all the time if they're able to see them before they even happen?

And then there's him getting B's back despite being next to Nagato a second or two earlier.
I don't understand why Itachi supporters still use this kind of stuff when both Naruto and Bee were shouting "I know already!" to them, it even happens in the exact page you linked so idk why you're trying to disprove your own points. He didn't need their advice, plus KB was a lot closer to them than Naruto was. Bee was never shown once having trouble reacting to anything Itachi did.

Not even sure how this is a counter. That scan you posted doesn't change the fact that B couldn't react. Nothing you typed here changes that fact actually. If I was only comparing how he moved, you'd have a point, but B's reaction is my basis of comparison, so once again, no dice.
Of course you're not sure, you openly reject anything that doesn't fall right in to fit and support your own beliefs. Bee was looking where Itachi and Nagato were 2 seconds before that, Naruto's a sensor and he already jumped in the air since he knew where Itachi was.

But yeah at least you admitted they moved in the exact same fashion, literally 99% of shinobi in the manga can move like this so I hope you're not going to try to argue on using that as a speed feat. I'll show more of Haku's combat speed and Lee's to see how much more impressive it looks if you really want, either way this holds no relevance in the idea Itachi will be able to jump before Jiraiya forms handsigns at the very beginning, or escape Yomi Numa once he's trapped inside(be it the very beginning, or after he baselessly jumps to avoid since I'm giving benefit of the doubt).

Unfortunately, the time between #1 and 2 are so miniscule by the time Itachi actively realizes Jiraiya is going to use Yomi Numa and #2 happens, Yomi Numa has already been used and his legs are not physically fast enough to bend and jump before Jiraiya moves his hands quickly, so he gets sunk. You make it seem like it takes hours for Jiraiya to make a single handsign but by the time he uses 1 and Itachi realizes he's using 2 he will have used it.

Unless you have some proof that Itachi can time travel back 3 seconds the instant the fight starts, they both start the fight at the exact same time and they both move at the exact same time. Even if Itachi knew that Jiraiya was using Yomi Numa before the fight started and could see that in the future which is impossible, he probably can't react in time because the reality of the situation is they still begin to move at the same time. I don't care how far in the future he can see, but he will not be able to jump before Jiraiya activates it especially with the notion he has to "future read" first to even know he's begun forming handsigns.

Just seeing things is not enough when his body isn't fast enough to do anything about it, as evidenced by Sasuke "allowing" Bee to impale him with his swords, since he clearly could have countered with OP sharingan precog if he wanted to.

What's faster, Jiraiya moving his hands or Itachi processing what's about to happen then bending his legs then jumping to avoid what he can't possibly know is coming until it's already pretty much activated, and only then can decide to move at best? Your logic here's getting pretty iffy, try to consider things more rationally and see it's just not possible.

Because the part of you saying genjutsu & toads I though you were referring to like when sasuke caught a giant summoning like manda under a genjutsu my fault misunderstanding.

I don't think that itachi has bad like every says he does because starting from the time he sent a shadow/crow clone to naruto he did pretty well.

1. Used a summoning crow justu

2. Made a crow clone

3. Crow clone caught naruto in a Dusk crow genjutsu

4. Crow clone body flicker towards the cave were he was waiting for sasuke

5 Multiple Sharingan genjutsu

6.Tsukuyomi

7.Shadow clone

8.2 fire ball jutsu

9. Amaterasu 5x

10. Susanoo

11.Yata Mirror

12.Totuska Blade Sealing Jutsu

13. Transcription Seal:Amaterasu

A byakugan lets you see how much chakra someone has like when neji used his and he compared Naruto & Kisame chakra i'm sure some with a byakugan can be well inform to seeing how much chakra someone has just like hinata seen with Itachi technique.

You're so far backed into a corner you're contradicting yourself in the same sentence lol. If they move at the exact same time, then Itachi has to be able to have the speed to propel himself into the air with a jump before Jiraiya can move his hands, which he cannot. It's that simple.

It is when it really does one shot, and you're having this horrible of a time attempting to prove it. Besides I'll give more irrefutable evidence why Jiraiya negs besides once you show how Itachi gets past the first jutsu, which sadly isn't happening since he can't.

^You quoted this entire thing in your post, but didn't reply to any of it btw.

Well at least I'm glad you conceded that if Jiraiya did use the jutsu before Itachi jumped, he's dead meat.

Because he had seen him use it again and again and again and again and again. He can't, plus even if the Kabuto feat was real he was given time in advance to predict his move, Kabuto didn't act at the exact same time Itachi's given a chance to even activate his sharingan. But it's a BS feat either way so I don't have to go there, since I'm nice I did.

Other than the fact it's outright impossible for him to see Jiraiya make the sign, process what jutsu he's using hten immediately bend his legs, and propel him up to jump all in the time it takes for Jiraiya to move his fingers? Alright, keep telling yourself that and blatantly ignoring key points such as "as I know Itachi has never been able to fly in the manga, he's not Onoki and has to land eventually" and "ou haven't given any support that Itachi would be able to blink because Jiraiya forms them faster. He's not Mifune, you're avoiding the subject" which is kind of ironic but anyway moving on.

Except once he's touched by it, he can't do anything about it. Using your ingenious katon strategy he's going to burn himself to death considering the only thing he;s been shown making are massive fireballs and he has to shoot it right in front of him while he's sinking.

I have now, and yeah I feel the same towards your posts now that I've countered all of your points at this rate, now the desperation claims will truly begin if you even reply.

Other than Itachi's obvious defeat I guess it's not proof of that much. Imaginary world lol more like real one

Other than rational logic and actual comprehension of the chapter Ah yes, his arms were the only reason he was immobile.

You used plural at the start, again proving by the time he sees Jiraiya use the handsigns the swamp will have already been made.

Genius

I don't understand why Itachi supporters still use this kind of stuff when both Naruto and Bee were shouting "I know already!" to them, it even happens in the exact page you linked so idk why you're trying to disprove your own points. He didn't need their advice, plus KB was a lot closer to them than Naruto was. Bee was never shown once having trouble reacting to anything Itachi did.

Lol well damn!

The time frame between 2 and 3 is virtually non existent. Itachi is not fast enough to be able to jump into the air during the speed it takes from the first and second handsign to complete, regardless of what he sees coming.

@bold: Not really. Itachi's speed feats allow him to do so regardless, speed feats I've already posted. Then there's also the fact that the swamp has to appear after the hand signs have been used, giving him even more time to evade. Not to mention he'll be able to see the hand signs before Jiraiya's even made the first one, given how Sharingan works. He'll see Jiraiya move, but the Sharingan will show him about to make the first hand sign, then he can evade.

I can apply your shitty argumentation to almost any opponent, and they wouldn't be able to evade because you think Jiraiya's hand seal speed and the formation of Yomi Numa is nigh instant, which is nonsense.

As they start the fight at the same time, Itachi won't be able to accurately read what he's about to do and then decide to jump, do it successfully then avoid before it becomes GG.
Which is based on? Starting the fight at the same time doesn't change anything. You know you make a lot of claims, but that's it. All you do is claim, you don't prove.

Itachi wouldn't be able to jump to avoid it if Itachi began jumping the instant the fight began, moving your hands into position takes far less time than jumping,

No, it really doesn't. Making two hand signs is not faster than jumping. Jumping to the target location? Of course, but just jumping? Uh, no.

and this assumes Itachi gets prep time and knowledge beforehand and still tries to jump. Itachi jumping<<<<Jiraiya moving his hands in speed, it's literally common sense try jumping then try moving your hands and you'll see.
Prep time is irrelevant, not sure why you keep mentioning nonsense like prep time, and head starts. Knowledge was already granted in the OP.

Try jumping, and then try making Yomi Numa's hand signs. The latter is clearly faster than the former. If we were measuring jumping from one point to another's speed vs. making hand signs speed, then you'd have a point, but we aren't, so you don't. It's irrelevant how fast it takes Itachi to get to his next position, because Yomi Numa is evaded the moment Itachi is off the ground.

Sharingan activates in literally an instant. Let's not start grasping at straws here.

You love being a strawman don't you? Never stated this.

I've already explained why the underlined isn't happening. Repeating it isn't going to make it any less ridiculous. If Itachi is on the ground, Jiraiya will make Yomi Numa on the ground, if Itachi evades, he's elsewhere, so he's not hit. Then Jiraiya has to make another swamp, which only gives Itachi more time to evade.

Ignoring the fact that he was stuck inside an infinite repeated loop in Izanami where the same thing happens over and over, of course dream Itachi knows what he's about to do he's in his subconscious.
Except it's not Itachi's subconscious, it's Kabuto's. Not to mention Kabuto stated why his jutsu was read and preempted, and it's not because of Izanami. Stop grasping at straws buddy.

And yeah the way you're treating it definitely makes it seem like a godlike magical sixth sense that sees the future and allows Itachi to move in the fight before Jiraiya gets a chance to despite the fact they start at the exact same time.

Never said he'll move before Jiraiya gets a chance. I said he'll move before Yomi Numa is completed. I don't know how many times you'll regurgitate this nonsense and how many times I'll have to correct you before you get it.

Dude wtf? It's two handsigns, you're making it seem like it takes an hour of prep time.

2 hand signs is still time needed. Suiryudan was only ONE hand sign. Didn't stop Itachi from seeing that coming, and putting Kabuto's ass on the ground before the latter could even use the jutsu, which only took one hand sign.

You as a human being could jump 2 ft in the air AKA human jumping height and still perform the signs for 4 Yomi Numa while you're falling.
Which means nothing, since I never said jumping from point A to point B is faster than making Yomi Numa's hand signs, I said that jumping period, is faster than Yomi Numa's hand signs.

Jiraiya literally watches where Itachi's about to land and then uses it again when he touches ground.
Except by the time Jiraiya has created his first swamp, Itachi will be on the ground, ready to evade Jiraiya's next attack.

It's impossible to instantly jump away regardless of if he sees it coming or not, or float like Onoki and you know that damn well.

If he's not on the ground when Jiraiya uses it? Yes, it's impossible. But he will be, so it's not.

No you haven't
I have.

It's literally impossible for Itachi to see it coming before it's used considering they start the match at the same time and Itachi can't reverse time using his sharingan.
Doesn't need to reverse time. Sharingan sees movements before they happen. Them starting the match at the same time doesn't change the fact that when Jiraiya is about to make his hand signs, Itachi will see them before Jiraiya even completes them.

If they encountered each other on more relaxed terms like when Jiraiya got him to run away, then maybe you'd have an argument and he'd jump to avoid since he could see it in time, but when Jiraiya makes it the same instant Itachi is allowed to move then he's screwed.

Except he can't do that. Yomi Numa takes 2 hand signs, and then the ground starts to become mud. Itachi has the opportunity to evade at any point before that, and any point after the match has started. It's not gonna go like:

-Match Start

-Yomi Numa

-Itachi gets sunk.

I suggest you get that nonsense out of your head.

When you've given no evidence for Yomi Numa's speed, yes, it's an issue. 100% valid means just about shit when it's not backed by manga scans.

The instant it makes contact with you, is the instant you're screwed. It doesn't matter if it took 5 hours to pull you under which it clearly doesn't, if you're in Human Path's situation and you become a useless sitting duck because you're immobilized.
If it makes contact with you, which it won't for Itachi.

You're so far backed into a corner you're contradicting yourself in the same sentence lol. If they move at the exact same time, then Itachi has to be able to have the speed to propel himself into the air with a jump before Jiraiya can move his hands, which he cannot. It's that simple.
Except I'm not, just your poor reading comprehension at work. Moving before Yomi Numa is cast=/=Moving before Jiraiya himself can move at all. Moving before Yomi Numa is cast=Moving before Jiraiya can complete the hand signs.

No, he only has to jump before Jiraiya makes both hand signs, not before he can move his hands in general.

Just so you know for sure that you're wrong, as seen, as seen here Kabuto even sees Itachi use the move and counter it with a suiton in the same exact situation. If what you said held any water(lolol) whatsoever then Itachi would always be 1 step ahead.
Um, no. Itachi used Katon, Kabuto used Suiton. Itachi attacked first, and Kabuto saw the attack and countered. Sharingan pre cog doesn't work if your opponent isn't doing anything, obviously. And Kabuto was making no movement until after Itachi had fired his attack.

1. You still haven't shown me why the Izanami scenario is invalid. "Hurr durr it's a dream" isn't a counter argument.

2. What Kabuto thought Itachi was going to do doesn't mean shit. He thought Itachi was going to use a Katon, based on the loop, but Itachi read his intentions with Sharingan and countered with the same jutsu Kabuto was about to use, by coping his hand sign and attacking all before Kabuto could attack himself, despite him being the one who started first.

You keep stating this, but guess what? I don't care for your opinion. Yes, it's a blur when they use their hand signs, but Ninja have been perceived as nothing but blurs by simply moving. Sasuke was able to interrupt Itachi's hand signs with a Shuriken Attack. Hand signs being hand movements doesn't automatically mean that it'll always out speed someone's movement, especially since this is more than one hand sign we are talking about. I could use the same logic and come to the conclusion that people like Ay, KCM Naruto, and Juubito can't evade Yomi Numa because "hand signs>>>>>>>>jump in speed" which isn't even correct in itself.

Itachi read Kabuto's movements. His Jutsu only took one hand sign, yet Itachi still beat him to the punch, and used and successfully landed the jutsu all before Kabuto could make one hand sign and initiate his jutsu. Same shit happens here, except Itachi jumps instead of countering.

Because he had seen him use it again and again and again and again and again.
Nope. Kabuto stated why, Sharingan. Nice try though.

He can't, plus even if the Kabuto feat was real he was given time in advance to predict his move, Kabuto didn't act at the exact same time Itachi's given a chance to even activate his sharingan. But it's a BS feat either way so I don't have to go there, since I'm nice I did.
Ok, I'll take your word for it. As for the rest, irrelevant. Sharingan's activation is literally instant. Jiraiya won't even be making hand signs by the time Sharingan is activated. Stop grasping at straws.

According to your logic the instant the fight starts is when Itachi starts using his sharingan and predicts his move in the very short time it takes Jiraiya to make the 2nd handsign

-Jiraiya starts to make hand signs.

-Itachi will see him make the first and the second hand sign before he even makes them.

-Itachi will evade.

That is what's going to happen.

Sorry he's not jumping that fast before it even touches his leg even though it formed and submerged half of a massive 50 meter+ snake in the span of 1 panel
Number of panels is NOT a measurement of time. So get that shit out of here. The rest is irrelevant since Itachi will be gone before the swamp appears under his feet. It forming under a giant snake and ensnaring it really isn't a feat you should be mentioning here, not when catching an immobile snake is barely a feat.

, I don't even have to provide proof hell Konohamaru could form 1 handsign in the time it takes Itachi to jump. Ok get up and do a physical exercise for me, try and jump in the air then try and move your hands in 2 positions quickly, which is faster. Unless there's some weird proof that proves character's leg speeds are faster than their hand seal speed...
I don't like empty, baseless claims.

I would do that exercise....if it made sense. That only measures the amount of time it takes for you to fall back down to the ground vs. the amount of time it takes you to measure hand signs. The thing you should be comparing is how fast you can actually jump, not how fast it takes you to get to where you are jumping, cause once Itachi's jumped, Yomi Numa is evaded.

Bold is reason enough for me to not take you seriously.

Uh...no.

No reason why he won't land.

Except he can't. He uses his first Yomi Numa, Itachi evades it, lands on the ground, and then Jiraiya has to make the hand signs for

This is what you aren't understanding. You seem to think that the moment Jiraiya moves his hand, Yomi Numa is going to "nigh instantly" (No proof for this either) appear on the ground, wall or ceiling, any place of Jiraiya's choosing, disregarding the fact that he needs to make hand signs after he's already used the first jutsu.

Weird-Kabuto-mind-Itachi doesn't have a mind of his own, and if he did it's only what Kabuto's perception of him is and in no way reflects the real Itachi's actions, which, if you don't remember even though I already linked it, was Kabuto countering the incoming jutsu. In fact he already did it before that too.
It being apart of Izanami's loop isn't relevant. Kabuto has already stated why he was countered, and it's not this made up explanation you are trying to stick with. It's because of the Sharingan. If you want to disregard Kabuto's words, you might as well concede this point. Manga statements>Fan's opinion.

And yes it does because it's in Kabuto's subconscious loool I can't believe you're actually trying to use that to prove Itachi can see Jiraiya's handsigns in the future even though they're both allowed to move at the same time.

And you've given me no reason why the bold cheapens the feat...no valid reason of course.

Other than the fact it's outright impossible for him to see Jiraiya make the sign, process what jutsu he's using hten immediately bend his legs, and propel him up to jump all in the time it takes for Jiraiya to move his fingers?
Uh, no, it's not. Not when Itachi was able to hit Kabuto with his Water Dragon before the latter even managed to cast his own, despite Kabuto being the one who started to cast it first, not to mention it has one hand sign, not two. You keep saying "hurr durr it's impossible" with nothing but your opinion behind it.

-Never said he can fly.

-Never implied he'd need to fly.

-Never implied he's Mifune or would need to be Mifune.

Again intentionally lying about scans, either that or you misunderstood them. That attack was an extremely straightforward and linear attack so Sasuke was able to deflect it far more easily that way. It's how sharingan has always worked.
Your point? The attack that hit him and the attack he evaded are the same thing, so it doesn't matter regardless. Not to mention that doesn't change the fact he was able to react to his speed.

He lost the exchange because of B's superior and unorthodox sword skills, not because B was too fast for him. Point is irrelevant.. Having Sharingan isn't going to change the fact that being inferior in an area means you'll lose in said area.

Not if he's taken by surprise, and not putting all his attention on Killer B. Something Itachi won't be doing to Jiraiya. Keep on with the invalid comparisons though.

Also, he's shown to react to B's speed before. That doesn't reinforce your argument, that only shows he got hit because of factors other than "Sharingan failed" or "He's too slow" not when Sharingan is the reason he evaded to begin with.

Meanwhile their actual taijutsu bout that isn't a linear straightforward dash in which Sasuke was rekt in, was ignored by you.
Irrelevant. Being able to keep up with his speed=/=Being able to best him in Kenjutsu. His unorthodox movements have little to do with his speed anyway. You can keep denying manga feats though.

Itachi gets a headstart in the match? They both start moving at the exact same time, until you can prove Itachi bends his knees and jump before Jiraiya moves his hands a little then he gets swallowed by the undeworld neg diff.

Pretty much a repeat of the same argument you've used throughout the whole thread. Yomi Numa one shots, prove me wrong.

Both instances the swamp wasn't big enough to sink them, not that Jiraiya needs to make one big enough to sink Itachi as anything up to the waist is much more than enough proven by Human path's uselessness.
And how does this change the fact that you've failed to prove that Yomi Numa submerges the target instantly?

To your own admission the swamp's intention is to fully submerge the target. No idea why you're trying to argue against that, Jiraiya literally said "Damn it won't even sink all the way in such a small swamp" and to quote you on the topic of it fully submerging the target, "Obviously."
Except I'm not. I only told you to learn what the word means before using it. You claimed his targets were submerged, they were not. Did I say that it can't submerge its targets? No. I told you to prove that it'll submerge Itachi instantly.

"its" and lol, unless Itachi plans on holding his hands up in the air over his head while he sinks pretty sure they're generally around the waist level, and it sunk Human up to his chest despite the end result be him standing pretty upright in the swamp.
It sunk Human Path that deep because Human Path was already kneeling when he was caught, has nothing to do with a target who is still standing up straight. And nothing stops him from keeping his hands above the swamp while he's still above.

Well no shit if he's caught that deep it's over, but the thing is, he won't be caught that deep before he can do something about it.

This is all operating on the assumption it doesn't fully submerge him(because Jiraiya doesn't need to, but on account of the fact it easily sunk a massive snake in 1 panel in such a small swamp he will), or the insane idea his hands won't get pulled in in the first place.

And you've still failed to prove that he'll be submerged before he can do anything about it. You've failed to prove that it submerges it's target completely in a matter of seconds. All I'm seeing is Yomi Numa GG. Not a real argument.

Other than the fact it's chakra infused earthly magical mud from the underworld that fully submerges the target and immobilizes them so they can't move their body?

So basically you have nothing? Katon and Fuuton still work like they do in real life. Suiton and Katon still work like they do in real life. You are going to need proof that it being chakra infused with change those properties.

Orrrr...he does this all BEFORE he's submerged that deep, not after, which nullifies the rest of the nonsense in your post.

There's also the fact he can just use Amaterasu instead.

Not sure why he'd be burned alive. If the fire doesn't hit him, he won't be burned alive. The fire hits the swamp, and causes the swamp to heat up.

Never implied that.

This means nothing, plenty of jutsu have never actually landed on anything. Deidara's C3's only feat was being tanked by Gaara's sand but I'm not doubting its destructive power even though it never landed on anyone.

Because there are feats and scaling to judge it's destructive power by. I'm seeing nothing from you but "Yomi Numa GG"

I've explained why he doesn't need to be able to fly you counter Godly Yomi Numa. Also, no. Human Path was running on the ceiling, and Jiraiya caught him with the technique. Human Path didn't even know it was coming. Itachi knows that it is coming before it actually comes and has intel on the jutsu. So no, not the same thing, so don't try and invalidate my counters by applying them to a completely different situation.

And I'm seeing nothing that stops him from hardening the mud before he's sunk deep enough where it'd be impossible for him to get out. You keep saying it sunk the snake as some counter, even though I never once claimed Itachi wouldn't be sunk eventually, if he doesn't do anything.

If it were my only reason then yes, but I have reasoning as to why he evades it. I'm seeing no real speed feat from Yomi Numa from you that'd lead anyone to believe otherwise. "Yomi Numa GG" isn't an argument, going off what the manga showed isn't evidence since catching a giant snake and human path aren't evidences that lead anyone to believe it easily catches Itachi.

Except that's not what happened with Human Path, nor does that have anything to do with Itachi jumping to evade the swamp Jiraiya is trying to create under him.

This is pretty much you going off the preconceived, nonsensical notion that Jiraiya will be able to follow up with another swamp before Itachi has landed after evading his original swamp.

He'll never be in that position, so there is nothing I need to counter.

Look at both sides logically, this is the reason I think Jiraiya wins. Itachi is pretty cool too as a person but that doesn't stop him from losing the vs fight. When you look at it like this rationally you'd realize he truly has no response, because it doesn't exist.
If only I cared about Itachi as a person.

What a joke.

If Itachi is surrounded by mud and Susanoo is activated, the mud will be pushed away as Susanoo is a physical object.

LOL WHAT Since when is Susano'o capable of smashing the concrete inside itself?
Doesn't need to smash concrete inside itself. There'll be no concrete inside itself.

Anyway, here's where my point of Susano'o "boxing him in" comes into play, if the AoE of the swamp is much smaller than the area Susano'o covers he has no way of destroying it with Susano'o. Hey plus they even have full knowledge, isn't that great more support.
The whole swamp? Yes. The area where Itachi is trapped? Yup.

Nothing.

Yeah, Jiraiya's just gonna sit on his ass and wait for susano'o to appear behind him, even with full knowledge, and break him out. LOL
He can do what he wants, but it's not going to matter since Susanoo will block him.

All he has to do is hit him once, then that "defense" that you claimed was a decent response to "defenseless? he has unbeatable susanoo gg" is completely null and void. Second it detaches from him Jiraiya kicks his head off and he dies instead of sitting on his ass waiting for it to free him.
Yes, because Susanoo will sit there and let Jiraiya come and kick Itachi's head off. Lol, are we serious with this horseshit.

By smashing the concrete around him.

The swamp's best feat is restraining something weaker than Part 1 KN0. No reason to believe it'll hold Susanoo. That simple. You definitely aren't giving me any reason to believe it is either.

Bold is a nice counter. When you can actually prove it's impossible, I'll take this seriously. Susanoo punching the HARDENED area of the swamp won't trap it. Susanoo tries to pull Itachi out, if Jiraiya attacks, he gets blocked and Itachi gets back in Susanoo and retreats from the swamp.

You have seen evidence on multiple occasions. Almost no time passed, at least not enough time for that massive charging snake t do anything about it or for Human to "jump again" like you're claiming and hell, Jiraiya didn't even use it before he touched the ground that time like he can so easily do with Itachi who apparently jumps to avoid it.

Almost no time between what? Jiraiya finishing the hand signs and then the swamp appearing? Irrelevant. Itachi will evade before he finishes the hand signs as he'll be able to see them coming. The rest I've replied to in the above paragraphs.

Human path was literally unable to move in any way and the tiny swamp that sunk the massive snake in 1 panel was thousands of times the size of Itachi. same panel evidence again

If he's submerged deep enough that it'd put him in such a position (say his chest) then yes. But since you've given me no reason to believe he'll be submerged that deep before Amaterasu or a Katon can harden the area he's trapped in....you have no point. At this point, anything I don't reply to is something you've already stated.

Already replied to above.

You used plural at the start, again proving by the time he sees Jiraiya use the handsigns the swamp will have already been made.

Unless he can complete 2 hand signs before Sharingan can catch them (Which he can't) then no, you are wrong.

Ah yes non existent Mind Itachi whose katon was already countered in the loops previous to that.
Not even relevant.

If only I cared about your opinions. Kabuto has stated why that happened. Nothing else you have to say concerns me.

Already explained.

Already explained above.

Your argument is literally "Yomi Numa one shots, prove me wrong" "Itachi isn't fast enough to evade because I say so" that is blind wank right there. That's not even an argument.

Already replied to. "He can't he can't" isn't a counter.

If only I did.

Repeat of above points.

Genius

Still evaded it though.

Sasuke didn't either, it was after he continued the taijutsu match that he lost. He could have easily fled the same as Itachi as shown here but he stuck around instead of dashing away like Itachi did.

Didn't what? Evade V1 B? Already posted a scan of him doing so. No amount of bad logic and denial of fact will change that.

I'm sure there's some hard evidence that Itachi's precog is somehow superior to Sasuke's though hm? Please explain how sharingan users allow themselves to get hit by techniques all the time if they're able to see them before they even happen?

If only I said or implied that.

If only I implied that Itachi blitzed B in that panel. In the last one? Yeah. In this one? No.

Of course you're not sure, you openly reject anything that doesn't fall right in to fit and support your own beliefs. Bee was looking where Itachi and Nagato were 2 seconds before that, Naruto's a sensor and he already jumped in the air since he knew where Itachi was.
Doesn't change the fact that B had no reaction to Itachi coming down toward him.

Pretty sure I already replied to this.

Another repeat of points replied to.

Again with the "go back in time" bullshit?

Just seeing things is not enough when his body isn't fast enough to do anything about it, as evidenced by Sasuke "allowing" Bee to impale him with his swords, since he clearly could have countered with OP sharingan precog if he wanted to.

Their unorthodox movement made them hard to track. Nothing to do with speed.

Jumping>Making two hand signs when it comes to speed. Making 2 hand signs>Jumping from one location to another when it comes to speed. The difference has been explained, not gonna repeat myself.

-Says Yomi Numa is so fast that Itachi won't be able to evade despite his speed feats and despite the fact that Yomi Numa has no notable speed feat of it's own. Catching Human Path and catching a giant snake are it's only feats, and neither are as fast as Itachi nor could they see the attack coming.

-Says Yomi Numa will submerge him so quickly that by the time he tries to harden the mud, he'll be too deep and will burn himself alive. Provides no evidence.

What a joke.

Ok.

Bold is wrong, but he didn't cross that much distance..but that's not the point. If he can move fast with Susanoo on, then it's not that heavy. Itachi pulled on Kabuto, but that doesn't change the fact that Sasuke still went from point A (Next to Itachi) to Point B (behind Kabuto's hood in a second or two. That was Shunshin.

And no, Itachi deactivated it because he needed Kabuto to stab him in order to set up Izanami. Kabuto can't stab him if Susanoo is active. But I'll agree that it has some weight to it, not enough that he'd sink fast enough to stop him from doing anything.

If he does that, then Frog Call can't be in effect, since the Toad will be between Susanoo/Itachi and Jiraiya (who will be on top of the toad) so he can counter by leveling Susanoo up and taking the toad out with a Totsuka Sword...he can repel it with Yata Mirror, or he can just knock it away using Yasaka Magatama.

Given what he was able to do with it above, no, it's not that heavy.

Susanoo moves based on Itachi's will, not his physical movements. Susanoo isn't a living thing so they can't paralyze it.

Almost immediately? No, he wasn't. The events that occured from him getting caught to here are not immediate. He hit Human Path, caught them in the Genjutsu, then there was the dialogue inside of the Genjutsu world.

@Bold: that's what Frog Call is for, Itachi can't evade the swamp when he's paralyzed.
Ok, point.

Point and point.

The range of one Frog Call covers that of both summons, so either Ma or Pa could have handled it on their own if Frog Call is something they can use on their own. But they used it together, because it's a jutsu they can only use when they croak together, in unison. Not on their own.

No reason besides it being shown that way in the manga? Lol.

Anyway, I'm getting bored with Jiraiya being on the offensive. How do you suggest Itachi kills Jiraiya? He needs a solid way to take him down since Jiraiya obviously wins in a battle of attrition.[/QUOTE]

Forgot to reply to this part. Lol. Susanoo, which Jiraiya can't stop offensively and can only hold off temporarily, pretty much plows through his offenses and his defenses and rips him a new one. V4 Susanoo strikes so fast that all of Orochimaru's hydra heads get cut at the same time, and hit the ground, at the same time. Jiraiya isn't dancing around Susanoo's attacks.

This useless thread continued to 7 pages when the only post needed was Amatersu one-shotting him, as he has no sensing or speed to intercept it.

Well, he has Kawarimi. And Rassengan as well which > Amaterasu. Not to mention he already sealed it.
It's funny that it's 2015, and people still think highly of a trash jutsu like the Amatersu when its failure rate is 10 out 10 times. lol
