I think the sharingan is necessary to use these techniques, which would suggest the Senju cannot use it. Moreover, Tobi labelled Izanagi as Uchiha kinjutsu meaning that it is a forbidden Uchiha technique. This also suggests that it is a technique which belongs to the Uchiha and not the Senju.

true but it would make sense i mean if these are all forbidden uchiha techniuqes why would senju dna be needed at all since they are a pair of all powerful techniques one should be given to each of the all powerful clans senju and uchiha im making this theory based on speculation but it would go along nicely with the whole two sides of fate thing two sons two clans two jutsus? you know what i mean

so why is senju dna needed if they have no part in the techniques tobi stating both dnas are needed to do izanagi is the important part here but itachi has none so how could he do a jutsu thats in a pair if the same power is requiered for the other theres only one answer one is uchiha(izanami) and one is senju(izanagi)

haha or maybe this man is a genius lol what if senju can use izanami but lose there "body" in a way lyk they get older fast or paralyzed and uchiha can use izanagi but lose there "eyes' it makes alot of sense when you think about it non uchiha or senju require both dnas ie a sharingan and hashrimas cells ?? but the clans can use the jutsu given to them by the sage with less drawbacks which would make it possible for itachi to use izanami but not izanagi

I just had the craziest thought so i have to share what if itachi can use izanami but not izanagi? izanami and izanagi are jutsu of the SO6P right? so what if he gave izanagi to his senju son and izanami to his uchiha son that would explain why senju dna is needed for izanagi and itachi using izanami just a thought :shrug:

Izanagi is a freakin' EYE technique. If you dont have the EYES necessary, you cannot perform. If it was passed down through the Senju then why do they not have the eyes necessary to do the Jutsu?

First of all, I never said the technique is only for the Ulchiha. I said you need the EYES of Ulchiha to complete the jutsu.

Just b/c you need the eyes of an Ulchiha, it doesnt mean that it was originated by the Ulchiha. It is a variation of the technique the SO6P created. The Ulchiha can complete PART of the Jutsu b/c they have the eyes, but it is labeled a KINJUTSU amoungst them because naturally they were NOT born with the "body" (DNA) to perfect the Jutsu.

*** IZANAGI IS NOT A JUTSU CREATED BY THE ULCHIHA OR 1ST SON. IT WAS CREATED BY SO6P, THE PURE COMBINATION OF SENJU/ULCHIHA ***


Just because it is labeled a Kinjutsu amoung the Ulchiha doesnt mean they created it. Since they didnt "create" it, it makes sense that they cannot perfectly use it without side effects (Eye loosing it's light). FYI
