One question, when it comes to what I'm detecting does it have to have chakra in it? Or can I sense the movement of things like a SM ball that is Natural energy only and doesn't have a hint of chakra, or a Kunai etc o_o

Go ahead and perform it so I know you have the ability to use it correctly in battle. Same with future techniques.

It isn't limited to chakra. It's any form/object/entity that enters the barrier. If it's a ball of natural energy, you'll know something is coming at you. However, if you aren't able to sense natural energy to begin with, you won't know what it is. All you will know is that something is approaching.

Yea, I meant enter as in within your field of sensing. You're correct.

1. Transparent in the anime to show us what it looked like. Since it is basic chakra, it would be invisible to those without sensory capabilities.
2. In the anime, it moved with Jiraiya when he moved (vs. Pein and his salamander/iguana thing).

(Kekkai Houjin) - Barrier Method Battle Array

Description: Kekkai Houjin is a high-level Fuuinjutsu trap technique. An array of explosive markers is jointly placed around the boundary of an area. If any opponent walks through the boundary, the seals will activate and explode.

Moreso a useless technique until the NW revamp. So, this wouldn't be practical to use in a BA fight, but could be used positively in the NW as a defensive technique. So as usual, describe, explain uses, and ask any questions!

Well this seems lame lol couldn't I just do this Freeform wise with a bunch of explosive tags, setting them up like land mines ? .-.

But meh so this technique is like a landmine. You use it to protect a area. In the NW I can see the akatsuki members using this to protect their hideout. They could use this in conjunction with the other technique u just taught me for a secruee defense.

*After I built my hideout, I place several explosive tag around the 'fence' of my castle for protection. I cover it all around the castle except for one location and thats the location only me know about because i travel through there z.z*

Well, yea, you can. xD Which is why I have never used this technique. As with most abilities, you can easily pinpoint the techniques you will personally use. This isn't one of them for me. But, people have different styles. Next..

(Kekkai Kireme no Jutsu) - Barrier Shatter Technique

Description: The user will insert their chakra into a active barrier to then interfere with the source and cancel the barrier shattering its shell.
Note: Must make direct contact and only works with up to B rank barriers.

This one is very useful imo, since it can also be used on CJ involving barriers. This is a barrier destroying technique, where you shatter it with your own chakra. Think of it like popping a bubble. o_o Although you must know the barrier is there to use this.

A good CJ idea would be an upgraded version of this with some cool effects. -claims a spot on the custom- But it definitely is a useful technique in the right situation. Next..

(Fusen no Kekkai) Tag Barrier
Type: Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: B-rank
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will take a tag marked with the kanjis 障害 (Shōgai) and either place it on a weapon (like wrapped around a kunai's handle) or on a surface (like the ground). Upon doing so, a defensive spherical barrier is erected around the tag as a seal. The barrier can be used to defend against up to B-Rank ninjutsu but also be used to contain an enemy inside if feasible.

So, this is your first traditional fuin using a sealing tag. Take a tag, inscribe the kanji, and then focus your chakra into it. Basically this is a barrier + tag technique where you make a barrier around/on any object. It says it can contain an enemy but obviously we can just break out of it with a B-rank attack.

But a nice usage would be in a kenjutsu fight maybe? When your opponent is coming in with a sword attack, you can erect a barrier around your sword to deflect the attack z.z

Another usage is to trap your enemy in the barrier z.z (Though Im not picturing how that would work since no one get hits in our RP)

Boring usages. ~_~ You can also use this on yourself to protect from an omnidirectional attack around you such as earth spikes, or fire/water/lightning from below... you catch my drift?

Withering Palace was inspired by the anime Kekkaishi. It's a good one if you haven't seen it.

(Mugen Hōyō) - Infinate Embrace
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 20 (-50 per turn to the target, +30 to user)

Description: The user slams his hands on the ground and generates a special barrier that surrounds the target forming a "cuboid" construct of pink chakra which begins draining the chakra of the target caught inside. This technique can be used in conjunction with shadow rope technique or other restrictive techniques to further hinder the target. Once caught inside it, the target cannot mold chakra above S-rank and the barrier itself can only be broken by B-Rank techniques or by attacking the user of the technique.

... Another barrier. Seems rather straightforward since the technique outlines its use very well. Go ahead and do your thing.

But yeah this technique is a absorption barrier that erects around the chosen target after the user slams his hand on the ground. When this happens, the barrier binds the target and pushes him to the ground and absorbs 50 of his chakra (right?)

Questions. Does the user have to keep his hands on the ground to keep the barrier up and active?

Well you get 50, but you use 20.. so thirty overall. There is no binding mentioned in this technique. In the A-rank version of it, yes. But not in this one (which is why it mentions using a binding technique to stop movement in addition to draining chakra).

I remember the issue of it emerging between MU vs. Lili, and I believe that it was ruled that you do have to keep contact on the ground for this to continuously function. So use this one with a clone or summon for better results.
