The 'A>b>c = A>c' method is bullshit,
Kakashi just had an advantage over obito, It'snot a matter of him being 'better'
Obito would roflstomp Kabuto.

He has decent mokuton & human path, as well as a better mastery over the outer path than nagato ever did.

The "variety of jutsu" that you assume he had would make him even stronger than hashi, think about it. The rinnegan allows mastery over the 5 basic nature elements, when have we ever seen a rinnegan user use more than 2 different elemental jutsus?

The rinnegan is OP, if obito was given everything that it offers + kamui then he would literally be the strongest character, bar none.

Kamui is OP on its own, anything else is icing at this point.

His katon is not basic, being able to manipulate fire with his mangekyou. He can do what sasuke can & his eye isnt even made for that.

Obito can perform kgautsuchi (flame control) with kamui.

As for obito's mokuton, we havent seen the full extent of it to judge, zetsu hasnt ever used any form of mokuton, how did zetsu make obito perform all of those OP mokuton jutsus with no prior experience?

Zetsu isnt a mokuton user, the only plausible explanation is that he unlocked obito's mastery over mokuton, if thats the case then obito should be much stronger at using it than shown, given the multiple years he's had to train the craft.

I'f obito had all of the paths then he would be #1 no contest, how can anybody stop a nagato + obito + 5 nature release user?

Kamui is more impressive than his katon

Also are you forgeting about his uchiha kaejin? the barrier that killer bee couldnt even break through with sheer strength alone?

Kamui alone defeats kabuto..Katon evaporates him, kaejin traps him, human path kills him, etc...

for Kamui to work, Obito would have to catch Kabuto first

the manga has shown kabuto's speed being equal, if not greater than Obito's

Obito had the zetsu suit on when he was a kid which increased his overall strength and his mokuton abilty

it's similar to when he was connected with the juubi and cast the wooden spikes.....something he couldn't do on his own

In the right environment, Kabuto can win this high diff. Such as a cave, or any enclosed area.

But, if it's in some neutral region. . I feel as if he loses his edge a bit. Like, the ability to confuse his enemies and evade an attack by separating in to multiple snakes and use the cave as cover. In a flat plain, this wouldn't work.

Also, the effects of one of the most deadly jutsu to use on Obito, whether he's in Kamui or not, Hakugeki, loses some of its effects when it's not in an enclosed space. Which would allow Obito to react faster and not be as crippled by the attack.

If they are fighting in, oh let's say the current battle grounds? Obito would take this high diff. But, if the location favors Kabuto then I would switch it around to Kabuto at a high difficulty. Mainly because his jutsu will be able to be used more efficiently, Muki Tensei too.

you didn't read carefully

I said I've assessed all of his abilities after his battle with Kakashi.....meaning from all the previous fights

his battle with Kakashi is supposedly his last, so after that he has nothing left to show.

Most people believed he had shinra tensei/preta path/more jutsu, etc.

yet now we know none of that's true

Ah...I see, but it has been stated by Kishi that he has them...has it not? I'm not trying to make it seem like you don't know your stuff, but the horse has spoke, is this not sufficient enough?:yayy::flirty::happy:

I didn't even use A>B>C logic

kakashi has nothing to do with it.

His fight with kakashi was most likely his last which means we've seen all of Obito's abilities

he doesn't possess preta path, shinra tensei, wide variety of jutsu as many originally believed

Well, obito can warp faster than karin or naruto can react or sense him.

If obito can blitz some of the best sensors with ease, then kabuto stands little to no chance as well.

Obito's strength doesnt boil down to the amount of jutsus he has, it comes down to how good his jutsus are, kamui is a nearly flawless jutsu, & combined with obito's warp speed he is able to blitz almost any opponent.

What about when Madara says he taught him the six paths? Does that mean nothing, or am I referring to the wrong translation?:shy: Im sure there was a scan that said this...am I wrong?:yayy::flirty:

Kabuto dodged a susanoo arrow which so far is known to be undodgeable by normal means; the speed of the susanoo arrow was shown to be on par with Naruto throwing the rasenshuriken

the only person to dodge the rasenshuriken was the 3rd raikage, and even Naruto was in shock because of how fast he threw it and missed

Kabuto reflexes should be potent enough to react to Obito

well if the logic of Obito going underground and undetectable, then popping out and using kamui to suck up the opponent were guaranteed each time, then he would literally be invincible

I'm sure you won't argue against Obito failing to use that method against Madara and Hashirama

so why is Kabuto excluded from that? It's not like Madara or Hashirama could sense him whilst in the different dimension or have counters to Kamui.

@bold: Why do you think he's always Top 3/5?

Hashirama and Madara are external situations to the topic and your assumption is actually incorrect. Do you honestly think Kabuto's reflexes are well enough to defy suction within the space-time continuum? If Obito successfully warps Kabuto, the fights ends there.

Obito didn't even have the rinnegan when Madara taught him that.

Having knowledge of the ability doesn't grant you the ability

it's like teaching someone susanoo, but that doesn't mean they'll awaken susanoo with their sharingan

Obito had only 1 rinnegan; the rinnegan has six paths....it can be assumed you only get 3 from each eye

Madara said in order to achieve the sharingan's true potential, you must have both eyes. The rinnegan is the evolution of the sharingan......if that's the case, then the same concept would most likely apply

1) Kamui was the only attack that was able to stop a susanoo arrow, you think a less experienced kamui user can react quicker than a seasoned kamui user? Not a chance.

2) Susanoo arrow = RS in speed? Well my friend you are about to recant that statement:

so you believe Madara and Hashirama would fall for kamui then by that same method we're discussing?

I don't see how many people would agree with that

and yeah I really do believe Kabuto could react to it.

I've brought up the same point before.

Kabuto dodged the susanoo arrow which has been shown to thus far be impossible to dodge by normal means

The susanoo arrow's speed was shown to be on par with Naruto throwing the rasenshuriken

the only person fast enough to dodge(not absorb) the rasenshuriken was the 3rd raikage

Even Naruto was shocked by that because of the speed he threw it with.

I don't get your point? Obito never encountered the susanoo arrow

he used kamui to dodge the rasenshuriken....at the cost of severing the connection between the juubi and himself

that's hardly dodging it effortlessly

not only that but people have speculated that Obito's phasing happens automatically, which explains how he dodged Gai attacking from behind.

if that's true, then Obito's reflexes don't even figure into him dodging rasenshuriken

.

Basically, you're saying Kabuto's reflexes are well enough to escape a hypothetical wormhole?

Only space time Ninjutsu has shown to couter itself: Kamui countering Kamui, FTG Countering Kamui. basic reflexes cannot defy a curvature in space and time.

No Kabuto has nothing to force Obito to go tangible. Unless Kabuto can throw 5 minutes of constant attacks at Obito, he loses.

1) My point is simple, you said that susanoo arrow = RS in speed, if obito can evade RS....well then he can evade susanoo arrow going by your logic.

2) Him losing the connection plays no part in the fact that he evaded the RS. If he can evade RS with kamui alone while stuck in 1 position then he can do the same for a susanoo arrow (again, going by your logic). Only this time it will be fair as he wont be stuck to the juubi.

3) Doesnt matter, kamui are his reflexes. He uses kamui to evade attacks. Its doesnt matter if its automatic or if its of his own will, the point is that he's fast enough to evade quick attacks, without even having to sense or look at them. If anything you just proved that kamui is even more OP as it also has the ability to dodge for obito.

the wormholes effect happens at very close range

I'm saying Kabuto would react to Obito getting close

even still, there are ways to counter Kamui "hypothetically"

for example.....what if Hashirama uses mokuton to connect himself with the ground(I mean like glueing his feat to the ground with mokuton roots or something)?

That way Obito wouldn't be able to suck him in because the force of the wormhole would not be strong enough to suck him in.

every shinobi possess the ability to use chakra to stick the surface like a spider, but I'm pretty sure no one ever thought of using that when they're getting sucked in by Obito.

so if they use the chakra feet to glue themselves down(same way they walk on trees) would Obito have enough force to pull them in kamui?

not only that but Kabuto has the DNA of Kimmimaro which he can use the bones to create more resistance from the pull of kamui

Yes...but if he taught it to him once the Rinnegan is acquired he can use them, no? Also...it's never been stated that the rules of the sharingan apply to the Rinnegan, has it? That's just an assumption...:shy: Also, he said I will teach you them...not I will tell you about them. Of course you know I mean no disrespect:flirty::yayy: Also, can Susanoo be taught, or is that just what you used to exemplify your point? Nonetheless...susanoo can only be awakened, no? I'm just asking...but I tend to not make assumptions, or adhere to them. They make an ASS out of U and ME. :yayy::flirty: I suppose we can believe what it is we choose to, again you know I mean no disrespect. :yayy::flirty::flowers
