and you honestly believe Kabuto won't figure that out on his own?

Minato, Kakashi, Yamato, Konan were all able to figure it out but Kabuto can't?

When obito slips through any attack people are shocked and confused, you yourself can see minato's expression when his hand slipped through him
And you are saying that kabuto will figure out that obito becomes solid to absorb and take advantage of it but that will be only occurring when obito touches kabuto to absorb him

kabuto isnt getting second chance to exploit that cause if obito touches him he gets warped

You say that as if Obito would be able to suck up Kabuto within his first attempt

Kabuto has already seen Obito teleport in and out and most likely has some intel on him as it is

In the fight against Itachi and Sasuke, they literally did not lay a finger on Kabuto....he lost the fight without getting injured at all

If Kabuto can dodge something like the susanoo arrow which is shown to be undodgeable by normal standards, then Kabuto would react to Obito trying to get close and Kamui him.

The susanoo arrows speed was on par with the speed of Naruto throwing Rasenshuriken and the only person to dodge that was the raikage.....even Naruto was surprised because of how fast he threw it.

So it's immature to change one's views now?

that's how the world works.....something good can happen to you all your life, but as soon as that something becomes bad you start to hate it; it's human nature.

so don't talk about influence

and yes I'm well aware he wasn't in peak condition, but that doesn't mean Obito has anything in his arsenal to defeat Kabuto.

The reason why I believed Obito was so strong was because I thought he had access to all the rinnegan techs, advanced mokuton, and a wide variety of jutsu

after the Kakashi battle, which is probably his final battle, we saw him reveal all the remaining cards up his sleeve....and none of them were impressive and also pretty much disproves my original assumptions about his arsenal.

its immature to change your view in as soon

as you see something new.

Why else did you make a thread kabuto>obito

right after the lastest chapter.

your clearly baseing your arugement on the lastest chapter, when everyone knows obito>kakashi

Obito has nothing to deeat kabuto?

how about the jinchurkin he had?

Rinngenn?

Kamui?

Izanagi?

because after seeing his full arsenal, I can now assess his abilities

he doesn't have the rinnegan techs, advanced mokuton, or wide variety of jutsu as I originally assumed

so what exactly does he have?

Kamui....since day 1

Basic Katon

Basic Mokuton, less impressive than Yamato

doesn't have preta, animal, deva path which are the ones that actualyl change the tied of battle.

Bakufu Ranbu, his most impressive technique.

none of that will defeat Kabuto

I'm not adding gedo to this because this is a battle without gedo or edo tensei.

@ Lightbringer: Obtio had already solidify and was walking towards him; completely different from appearing directly beneath the opponent. Close proximity isn't an impossibility as kabuto's fighting style also relies on CQC and having a jutsu like Kamui; it would be rather easy for Obito to get close to Kabuto and once again his reflexes aren't enough to evade the suction. True, Obito sacrificing Kamui for Izanami could only be seen as a last resort hence why he would firstly resort to warping methods.

If it were that simple, then Obito would have simply done the same thing to Naruto and Bee by now.....going underground and sucking them up

from what he has shown, Obito likes to charge in as well

the only time he ever went underground and sucked someone up from it was when he did it to Fu

it's just not his normal routine.

and if Obito does go underground, I'm sure Kabuto would be extra cautious. Perhaps he would utilize his sage art to manipulate the environment in order to confuse Obito.

When Obito is underground, I doubt he has a clear vision of the field above.

he doesnt have?

or did kishi not allow him to use it?

during the fight between him and minato he wasnt allowed to use mokutun or his genjutsu that one shotted kurma at full power.

W/o kishi influence.... obito would have at least killed kakashi

look how he sliced him up and stabb him etc.... but he still lived.

but with kishi handicap on obito, kabuto will stomp

There were many indications that Obito didn't possess those abilities, I even made a separate thread suggesting he didn't possess all the rinnegan techs a while back

now after his fight with kakashi, it's evident he didn't possess them.

If Obito had preta path, he would have won. He not only didn't use it against Kakashi, but he didn't use it against naruto, against the shinobi alliance which would then restored his chakra.

the only logical explanation is he didn't have it or he was a terrible fighter to not use it.

A Characters fighting style and overall actions are controlled by Masashi to advance his plot and not neccessarily around what you/I think should have been done: Case in point, Kakashi could have finished Kakuzu would Kamui right from the start but then we wouldn't have seen Naruto's Fuuton: Rasen-Shuriken in action...

..Meaning you don't really have an argument there but as long thus far Obito has shown on more than one occasion to be phasing through the ground beneath opponents:

-> Grounding C2 for Deidara
-> Against Fu and Torune
-> Against Naruto and Bee

Being extra cautious doesn't help as he wouldn't be able to anticipate Obito's actions. Altering the terrain will confuse Obito how exactly? As long as he maintains the sharingan he can accurately pin-point Kabuto's location and appear beneath him at any time. Even with the Said restrictions, Obito clearly has the upper hand.

He has decent mokuton & human path, as well as a better mastery over the outer path than nagato ever did.

The "variety of jutsu" that you assume he had would make him even stronger than hashi, think about it. The rinnegan allows mastery over the 5 basic nature elements, when have we ever seen a rinnegan user use more than 2 different elemental jutsus?

The rinnegan is OP, if obito was given everything that it offers + kamui then he would literally be the strongest character, bar none.

so what exactly does he have?

Kamui....since day 1

Basic Katon

Basic Mokuton, less impressive than Yamato

Kamui is OP on its own, anything else is icing at this point.

His katon is not basic, being able to manipulate fire with his mangekyou. He can do what sasuke can & his eye isnt even made for that.

Obito can perform kgautsuchi (flame control) with kamui.

As for obito's mokuton, we havent seen the full extent of it to judge, zetsu hasnt ever used any form of mokuton, how did zetsu make obito perform all of those OP mokuton jutsus with no prior experience?

Zetsu isnt a mokuton user, the only plausible explanation is that he unlocked obito's mastery over mokuton, if thats the case then obito should be much stronger at using it than shown, given the multiple years he's had to train the craft.

doesn't have preta, animal, deva path which are the ones that actualyl change the tied of battle.

I'f obito had all of the paths then he would be #1 no contest, how can anybody stop a nagato + obito + 5 nature release user?

Bakufu Ranbu, his most impressive technique.
Kamui is more impressive than his katon

Also are you forgeting about his uchiha kaenjin? the barrier that killer bee couldnt even break through with sheer strength alone?

none of that will defeat Kabuto

Kamui alone defeats kabuto..Katon evaporates him, kaenjin traps him, human path kills him, etc...

He does have Rinnegan techniques...that's a known fact, right? :mad:_@::NO: Anywho, you are assessing his abilities based on this one chapter?:shy: Anywho, I believe Obito to still be superior imo he lost due to plot. Just my opinion.

well if the logic of Obito going underground and undetectable, then popping out and using kamui to suck up the opponent were guaranteed each time, then he would literally be invincible

I'm sure you won't argue against Obito failing to use that method against Madara and Hashirama

so why is Kabuto excluded from that? It's not like Madara or Hashirama could sense him whilst in the different dimension or have counters to Kamui.

you didn't read carefully

I said I've assessed all of his abilities after his battle with Kakashi.....meaning from all the previous fights

his battle with Kakashi is supposedly his last, so after that he has nothing left to show.

Most people believed he had shinra tensei/preta path/more jutsu, etc.

yet now we know none of that's true
