OMG,Jiraiya IS stronger than Itachi!

Conclusion​

It is clear that Jiraiya has been portrayed as stronger all along. Itachi's techniques like Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, and Susano'o are perfectly countered by Jiraiya's method of fighting by looking at the feet, a super-reflexive shunshin when checking the Sharingan for a build-up to Amaterasu, and Yomi Numa, respectively. Itachi's other Sharingan Genjutsu won't work on a Sannin. Thus, Jiraiya will be able keep his hands clasped together for that mere minute to enter Hermit Mode, and if base Jiraiya can't just dodge all of Itachi's attacks and techniques himself in that minute without forming any hand seals, Gamabunta will easily hold Itachi off for a minute as Itachi has shown to be incapable of swiftly defeating large reptiles or amphibians, and the Sharingan has been shown incapable of instantly putting them in to a controlling Genjutsu. So I have to say, guys, I'm an Itachi fan, but it seems Jiraiya, like Itachi, is significantly stronger than Orochimaru, and even stronger than Itachi himself. That one time Orochimaru slammed him in to the ground without arms, incapacitating him long enough to severely wound Tsunade, was just because Jiraiya had bad chakra control, and was limited to his less hyped jutsu like Yomi Numa where as Orochimaru could use most of his jutsu without seals... even if he told Kabuto that he lost nearly all of the jutsu that he had ever learned along with his arms. So yeah, I'm sure Orochimaru would say similar things about Jiraiya, like that he was stronger than him, or that it was impossible to defeat him, instead of the opposite, and I'm positive that Orochimaru would avoid Jiraiya like he avoided Itachi, especially if he didn't have arms. It's all there in black and white.

Well im going with itachi. But at that point in the anime Itachi did use up too much chakra so figure he might lose to a 100% J man. But itachi intent wasn't to fight or capture naruto. I'm guessing he started the fight with Kaskashi to get their attention that they was going after the legacy of the 4th like itachi told to them like people have said before. This battle was really pointless if you ask me. Because itachi found Jiraiya and hypnotized a woman to distract Jiraiya. But then again maybe from that fight they alert Jiraiya somehow seeing the Guy came short after the fight. So in a way Itachi made it so that it was no way he escape with naruto. In a one on one fight I think itachi wins but in this situation with itachi low on chakra and Jman pretty much at 100% guess ill give the edge to Jiraiya, which is why itachi said what he said like a couple people said already.

We can only go by what is said in the manga, and that is, Itachi himself saying, that if he and jiraiya were to fight the best he could do is a tie. It doesn't matter what you guys say or think is the result.

According to the ninja stats they are very closely matched i think anyone who can overcome itachi sasunoo would be someone who cain use sage mode like jiraya or naruto or another sharingan user, but the battle could go either way.

first off im not on either side, but if they met in battle no one knows who will win. People, we cant use the info from part one anymore (the whole itachi backing down against Jman)
that info is out dated due to all the resent power ups in both characters. but going by what we all saw in the manga its hard to decide the winner. to make it easier im going to use both their battles against Pein/nagato because hes a common enemy they both fought.
JIRAIYA: his battle was against the 6 paths of pein. he lost but managed to defeat a few of them.he used his full power (sage mode). to get to sage mode Jman had to limit his movements alittle to reach it but not by much. sage mode gave him enhanced speed and strength plus more chakra and had two comrades but with all of this he still died. (note: nagato was incomplete that why there were 6 pein corpses)
ITACHI: in itachi's battle with nagato, nagato was at full power and had all the powers of the 6 pein bodies. and itachi beat him but with the limited help from naruto and bee (note: both itachi and Jman had the same number of comrades fighting with them)(note:naruto's new 9T's mode is stronger that naruto's sage mode: with was stronger than Jmans. keep this in mind) 9T's naruto nor bee could beat complete nagato.this is the first battle we see itachi at full power.
this may seem like im on itachi's side but remember that some people are better suited for tasks than others meaning that even though Jman couldn't beat pein doesnt make him any less of a strong ninja. itachi might have been better suited for this battle but a battle between Jman and itachi might have unexpected results. like i said in the begining no one knows who would win.

That's the most senseless statement i've ever heard even a sannin oro admitted itachi was stronger than him not only that itachi is stronger than tsunade who is a kage he's also stronger than kakashi who was to bcome the next hokage... Enuf said
